I can't recommend Gal highly enough. I don't live in Sheffield and needed an urgent door issue resolved, so I had to search online for a local locksmith. After finding Gal, I gave him a call at 1530 and by 1800 everything was fixed and sorted. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Gal was professional, efficient, reliable, and a genuinely nice person to deal with. He responded quickly, kept me informed, and resolved the problem without any issues. In addition, he charged a very competitive rate, which was greatly appreciated. I cannot recommend Gal enough. I was stranded at a service station on the M1 from accidentally locking my keys in my car. (New car locking system failed me) and I scrambled google for nearby locksmiths and many too busy to answer. Gal picked up straight away and got to me within 30 mins and unlocked my car within 15 mins and created a manual key for me and gave the key back to me at the end for safety measure. Top service!!

Moved into a new house and managed to lock ourselves out with an electronic lock that auto locks when you shut the door. Rang here, he was out in 40 minutes, drilled and replaced our other door lock (which we needed to replace anyway) and was very reasonably priced especially to say this was 9pm! Saved our seven year anniversary as we were meant to go out, still managed to get out as he was that quick and efficient.

Don't normally write reviews but due to outstanding service I felt I had to. My key snapped off in the lock and I was left locked out. He turned up within 30 minutes and I was in the house within 15 minutes. I then asked him to change the lock as I didn't have a spare key in the house and he even managed to sort out a minor issue with the door sticking a bit when engaging the locking mechanism. After recently purchasing a new car only one key was supplied with the vehicle. I contacted Gal online yesterday evening around 9pm. He responded instantly and explained the options available. He booked me in for the following morning at 10am. 15 mins prior to the appointment he contacted me to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, was very polite and professional. Thanks for such a quick and friendly key programming for my car. Very good pricing and he travelled to me. He gave time of arrival and regular updates about his arrival. He took utmost care in the work and even used a power stabiliser when programming my car which was an amazing sign of a true professional. As you may know it is risky not using this as a voltage drop could cause a bricked car. But this guy clearly knows his stuff and did everything to the book and thanks to him I now have a spare key for my car. I'll keep you in mind should I or friends need a locksmith!

I called Gal when my daughter was locked out of her student accommodation at 7pm and he was there within 30 mins as promised and got her into her room very quickly. I called after having a bit of a DIY disaster. I had bought a replacement key off the internet and tried to fit the transponder from my old key into the replacement and in the process I bust my transponder. I realised without the transponder I couldn't start my car and I had no spare key. I called GB Lock and Key and Gal was there within 20 minutes. He programmed a new transponder, cut me a new key and provided a replacement key as the one I had bought was incorrect for the year of my car. It must be noted it was about -5 outside and was beginning to snow and it didn't change a thing, Gal sorted the problem promptly and professionally.

Gal would get 11/10 on everything, he is soft spoken, understand your needs be unlike most locksmiths, is honest with pricing . If you in Sheffield and are looking at a diligent and competent service provider he is the person to go, while fixing the car my battery died down, he went out of his way to come next morning to give a jump start on the car ! I have to give a 5 star recommendation for GB Lock and Key. When I was locked out of my house, unexpectedly losing my keys while out shopping, they were there quickly to help me. I was also amazed at how they did not damage the door, while working quickly and efficiently to get me in. I've heard terrible stories of ruined doors and locks when a locksmith was called to gain entrance into a home, but NOT with GB. They were fantastic.
