Lock & Key Leeds is repeatedly described as providing a good service, with many reviewers reporting quick responses and jobs completed the same day. Several reviewers mention fair or upfront pricing, though this is their own reported experience rather than a stated policy. Reviewers say staff explained problems clearly, including one report of a named staff member, Jim, being professional during a lockout. Work reported includes replacing and fitting locks, fixing jammed or misaligned doors, re-aligning patio and garage doors, and boarding up damage in an emergency. One reviewer felt their small shed door job was treated as a priority; no material criticism is reported.
Used a few locksmiths in the area for my business and always felt like I’d been kind of ripped off tbh. Got in touch with Lock & Key, and they charged me an extremely fair rate for a security check-up of my business. Even pointed out a few issues I wasn’t aware of, haha. Sorted out, fixed, and now my shop feels more secure than it did before. Going to hire them for some security stuff soon, too.
I was just heading out to work when I found that my door wouldn’t lock, which was a nightmare. Called out Lock & Key for an emergency service, expecting to get hit with a crazy bill. Nope! They fixed the issue for me right there and then (my lock had rusted up, so they replaced it). Charged me a very fair rate and explained in easy-to-understand terms what had gone wrong and how to avoid it in the future. Really happy, would highly recommend Lock & Key if you want a locksmith you can trust.
Absolutely brilliant service from Jim after we had locked ourselves out of our house. When Jim turned up but he was very professional and gave us confidence that he would be able to assist us in getting back into the house. He managed to free the lock and then fitted a new lock to make the house fully secure. He only charged what was quoted despite it being a difficult job. If you are ever in need of this service I would highly recommend Lock and Key
Had to get in touch with Lock & Key after my front door started to jam after the winter. I was told it had swollen up, which is common with wooden doors. They managed to get the issue fixed for me, so my door closes nicely and smoothly again. It was a real problem for months on end there, so I'm happy to finally get it fixed and back to normal. Hopefully, it won’t happen again, but if it does swell up, I know exactly who I’ll be calling to help me fix the problem. Great price, better service, rapid fire arrival. 5 stars!
Came to my house right away to deal with a minor problem with my shed door. Treated me like their #1 concern despite only being a small job that the locksmith had sorted out in less than an hour. Well, happy and can finally get my shed closing over again. Cheers again to Lock & Key.
Was told about Lock & Key after a mate had his patio doors fixed by them. When I ran into the same problem, I knew who to call and was really happy with the results. Got my patio doors back on the track, and now they open and close as smooth as butter. Top marks from me, thanks again.
Some bright spark kicked the glass on my door in when he was drunk! Called Lock & Key for help and they actually had someone with me at 2AM on a Sat night to fix the damage. Boarded it up and helped me find replacement glass that was affordable. Thanks again, highly recommended.
My doors had become out of line with the frame, so every time I opened them, the doors were dragging on the floor, and it was really annoying me! Called out Lock & Key after a mate recommended them, and they lived up to expectations fully. Got my door re-aligned the same day and gave me a great price. I expected I would pay a lot more. Thanks again.
Came across Lock & Key when looking for a locksmith who deals with garage doors. My door was all wonky, so they had someone come out and fix the problem for me that same day. Turned up just as I finished work and had it all sorted within a couple of hours, despite there being a hitch or two which couldn’t be avoided. Really impressed, thanks again to Lock & Key for getting my door fixed.
Called out a locksmith as my patio doors were jamming all the time, and it was doing my head in. Lock & Key treated it like an emergency, which was nice; I really felt like they cared. Gave me an upfront cost for the whole thing and sorted the problem out in no time. Barely even had enough time to make the locksmith a cuppa lol. Cheers again, guys, crisis averted.
My daughter and her bf just moved into their first-ever house, so I made sure they got a locksmith out to take a look at their locks. They got the locks replaced and new keys cut on the same day I called them, which I did not expect. Really impressed at how fast they were, and didn’t charge an arm or a leg either. Thanks, guys, saved me a headache!
