I had a really small unusual key that I needed a spare for and the guys at Croma were incredibly helpful after other companies had said they couldn’t help. I went to the Fareham Croma and they had a good look at the key, said they could certainly cut one for me, but that I would actually get a spare online cheaper - they even did a search and found it for me. Thank you very much for being genuinely interested and helpful, I will tell people about you and I’ll be back for anything else lock and key related! I went back to Croma Locksmiths in Fareham again as they were so helpful a few months back when I was looking to replace an unusual key. This time I needed a replacement van key - with the open/lock buttons and flip out key. Steve in Fareham took the time to take the broken key apart to see if it could be fixed, and then ordered a replacement as it wasn’t fixable. When I went back he then took even more time to put the new key together with my existing lock chip, and cut the new key. I arrived late and he stayed nearly half an hour after closing to see the job through. Thank you for your brilliant service, smiling welcome and overall really positive experience Steve, you are a great asset to the Croma business.
I’ve been using Croma for years for my domestic security needs and they have been brilliant. Steve is an absolute legend and there isn’t anything he doesn’t know. Great to have good old fashioned service at good prices. I would thoroughly recommend them and their service
First class service! I took them my 50 year old mortice lock which was getting difficult to operate. They fully refurbished it while I waited and cut three new keys. This cost a fraction of the price of a new lock! Will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Thank you Croma Locksmiths, great job!
Three Trips for Key cutting that should’ve taken 5 minutes!! Visited today to have a couple of keys cut and what should have been a really simple job turned into a complete hassle. The first keys I was given didn’t even go into the lock at all. I then had to drive all the way back from Waterlooville to Fareham to get it sorted. After they recut them I went home again, only to find they still wouldn’t go into the lock, which meant another trip back again. In total I had to make three journeys because the keys were cut incorrectly. It’s incredibly frustrating when something this basic keeps being done wrong, especially when you’re wasting time and fuel going back and forth just to get a key that works. What’s also disappointing is that despite the inconvenience, I wasn’t offered any kind of partial refund or goodwill gesture for having to come back three times to sort out their mistake! I had actually arranged to come back on Friday to get a spare key cut for my car, but after today’s experience I definitely won’t be doing that now. Really poor experience overall and not somewhere I’d recommend.
I can't emphasise how professional these are , ive used these in multiple locations, Portsmouth, fareham etc and all faultless , they know there stuff and won't sell you any old crap to make a sale , they will make sure it's the exact product you need so it fits perfectly, I even went into the pompey one a few times with old locks id got from obsolete doors and chucked it on counter and the man just looked at it and said " oh yea one sec " went out back and just got one , knowledge in these stores is impeccable, will highly recommend

They’re both really knowledgeable, gave solid advice and answered all our questions clearly without making anything feel complicated. They were both super friendly and approachable! Excellent service and good knowledge
After 3 abortive attempts by our local hardware store to cut a new key for my conservatory door, Croma got it right first time. A bit more expensive but against the cost of my time and petrol running to and fro to the local store it was a bargain. My first port of call in the future. Just been back to Croma for more help and advice. Steve was an absolute star. He advised me how to remove the lock of my neighbour's garage, dismantled the lock when I brought it back and cut a pair of keys for it without a pattern to work from. We only paid for the cost of cutting the keys! Great company, great staff. Just been back to Croma Fareham with a lock they sold me last year. I had only just got round to fitting it and found I had bought the wrong size. Steve and the team were fantastic. I had had long keys cut as needed them because of the size of the gate I was fitting the lock in. They changed the mechanism over to the correct lock for no charge so I wouldn't have to get new keys cut. Very friendly team who are very customer orientated. 5 star service. Steve and the team at Croma Fareham came up trumps again. Fitted new lock to a double glazing locking bar on the spot and everything worked when I refitted it. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff - the go-to place in Fareham for a top rate locksmiths service (Jan 26)

took a 40 year old worn car key in had been to many other places and no one was interested but they was willing to try and succeced very pleased and would highly recomend also the price was very good and the staff are friendly and very helpfull

Absolutely brilliant service from Steve and his colleague. Our front door lock was becoming non-operative and I took it down to them, fully expecting to buy a new lock barrel and keys but they cleaned the lock out and lubricated it and it is now working perfectly. I will definately be using Croma Locksmiths, Fareham for all my lock and security needs going forward👍

Visited the southsea branch yesterday on the 29th and they did not have stock of the part I needed but were very helpful in finding it at the fareham branch and phoning to make sure that it was in stock. I drove over to the fareham branch and the guy I felt with was really help full and got my lock fixed. Have used you guys a number of times before and would recommend you to any one looking for a lock repair in the future. Great company and great service. Keep up the great work guys

Just visited the Whitely branch in Fareham, I needed a key for my 1963 Rover P5 and just with the barrel number the gentleman in your store managed to cut me a key plus cut me another key as a spare for my ignition. Very helpful, polite and knowledgable man.
Highly recommended for lock/key advice. Steve was very helpful and gave clear instructions on how to remove, measure up and refit a front door lock barrel. Also cut 3 extra keys. I refitted new lock in 2 minutes and all keys work. Great service and great price.

Best locksmith in (or out of) town, keys cut perfectly, all sorts of new locks and other security products. Not the cheapest, but cost cutting security is not good economy.

The perfect place for high security locks and keys. We needed a great number of keys for security gates and have to reorder them periodically and they cut them accurately to the same spec and also number for us.
Croma are a great business to get keys cut at a very reasonable price, also change of locks. Always use this company for anything to do with keys and Locks, they also sell security systems and always find the staff very knowledgable, professional and friendly.

Replaced a UPVC door lock that was going round and round and gearbox total £160 and two years later the same thing has happened. They were most unhelpful and could only say "its out of "warranty". Am I supposed to pay out every two years? I will got the job done properly now and for less
