All the initial problems we had with our pond have been rectified and we've enjoyed our pond ever since. In the end, I had to try lots of different ways to keep the algae down. Despite meticulously doing the maintenace recommended we stilI struggled with algae in spring and summer (algae only needs very tiny amounts of nutrients to grow in sunlight.) In our particular garden (everyone's is different), we have had the most success with regular yearly use of barley bales in the leaf catchers and Cloverleaf products in late winter/early spring or as needed. The look of our pond is very beautiful and it just takes weekly work and tlc to keep it that way. However, as long as I take these additonal measures, our water is pretty clear and our algae levels are minimal even when there are days of hot weather and I top up the water level.
Pond was recently completed and it has completely transformed our urban garden. I only wish had done this years ago. Lots of helpful planning and design advice before we got going and Anthony and the team were brilliant throughout construction phase. Highly recommend
We had our pond installed over 5 years ago and have loved it. Such a wonderful focal point in our garden. Clear water, without any chemicals is just wonderful to swim in. It fits in beautifully with the countryside around us and draws wildlife that we all love watching such as dragonflies and newts. The maintenance team have also been great over the years as well, thanks Gareth!
The fourth summer of our Gartenart pond and if possible it brings even more joy every year. It is our most treasured possession!
Delighted with our pond. We are in our second full season now and use it most days, even in the winter. My wife says it is the best thing we have done to our property. Build quality and design from Gartenart is very very good.

Ours was a very hard pond to build because we live on Romney Marsh, but Gartenart took on the task with enthusiasm and professionalism and continue to maintain the pond. I've been to an open day with my family at one of the ponds Gartenart built. It was a lovely experience - the water felt soft and clean, the pond looked clear and it felt as if the pond was just a part of the natural surroundings. There was definitely a very calming and peaceful atmosphere, which was enhanced by the log water feature. I've been to other ponds and lakes and this was by far the most memorable and enjoyable so far. The whole experience was so delightful and my kids absolutely loved it!
Great pond
Spent the afternoon at a stunning natural pool created by Gartenart. Crystal clear water beautifully designed into the gorgeous Kent countryside. Swimming was amazing no chemicals the water felt so soft and after the initial bracing freshness the body adjusted and the water felt very pleasant. Tim and his team are a pleasure to work with looking forward to putting our order in for one of these stunning natural pools.
This is one of the finest landscaping ponds that I ever visited. The surroundings beyond doubt attractive, surrounded by tall trees also plenty of blossoming crops. Exceptionally refreshing and hygienic location to live… The pond is sufficient to accommodate people who yearn fort swim especially on hot days. This is a perfect location to unwind and have a get together with your comrades. What a great occurrence! I beyond doubt go back here yet again on my next visit.
