Mike is the best builder we’ve ever worked with. He came highly recommended by a neighbour who has used him in both their previous and current homes, and we will definitely be using him for any future projects. A builder of the highest integrity, Mike cares deeply about the project, is transparent, and an exceptional communicator. His estimate for the project duration was spot on, budget estimation was clear and there were no unnecessary charges. We were impressed from the initial consultation; whilst we were still debating whether to live on-site for the build, Mike paused to contemplate and came up with a phased plan that worked around our daily lives, demonstrating his investment in the project from inception. That kind of lateral thinking and consideration continued throughout. The project went really smoothly, all credit to his excellent project management skills and the obvious respect and dedication of his team. He clearly communicated his plans, giving us daily progress updates and guiding us through some quite tricky decisions; we were never left in the dark. If there is a best builder award, our vote is for Mike!

Had Mick and team back to build us a new front wall (after already doing our extension few years back). Just as when they were here previously they did a fantastic job, high quality work, completed on time. Mick and team were excellent in building our rear extension. Very professional, courteous and punctual. They did a thorough job to a very high standard, easy to work with and very open to discussing changes as we went along. Very happy with our extension and the significant structural work they performed, would definitely recommend and use again.
Michael and his team responded very quickly to my initial query. It is easy to contact them at any time by phone or e-mail and prompt replies are received. They did a first-class repair to the garden fence and built a very neat front garden wall. I was kept fully informed at all stages and before the job was done, I was shown the bricks which would be used. Michael offered a few spare bricks in case they are ever needed so that there would be a good match. This attention to detail is appreciated. I can recommend this company for reliability and good workmanship.
Michael and team supported us with a design and build for a large 3 car garage, driveway and front of house improvements. Michael and team were thoughtful, super polite and professional end to end and an absolute pleasure to work with. The project came in on budget. Michael was a great communicator keeping us updated with progress and was always responsive with any questions we had. The bricklayeying, roofing, carpentry, plastering, decorating, driveway was all finished to a very high standard. We were replacing an old lean to conservatory in conjunction with Wright Glazing and all the dismantling and ground work was carried out by MTB building and landscapes. Mike and the team were fantastic from start to finish. They carried out a single storey extension for us along with some extras we instructed as the project progressed. Mike kept us up to date throughout the project with an explanation of day to day tasks being carried out and the site was always left clean and tidy. We recently had the pleasure of working with MTB Building Company, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They transformed our windowless cellar into a bright, welcoming space by installing a light well and a new window, creating a light-filled area. New patio and lawn. We initially asked Mick to quote for the removal of some raised decking and put some new patio down. He came back with a much better idea and has transformed our garden into a much more usable area which looks beautiful. He gave great advice on the choice of materials to use and Adam and Brendon were extremely polite and helpful and they worked hard in pouring rain and hot sunshine. Once the patio was laid we decided on a new lawn too which Mick organised and laid himself. He has even lent us his own sprinkler till the turf has grown. Thanks to the 3 of you. We love it.

MTB Building Services finished our driveway this week and couldn’t be happier! So many people have commented on how amazing it now looks. The work consisted of removing several roots/trees, installing fences, brick front wall, digging a soak away, cementing the area and then laying tiles. This was done during freezing weather but the team were very helpful and polite and I felt they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and finish was done properly. The initial consultation was thorough and informative, Mick was great at suggesting all the options of what was available and what suited what I was looking for. Throughout whole process I was kept up to date on the progress and what the next stages were, all the work went to schedule as planned. The finished product is stunning and would highly recommend MTB to anyone looking to get work done to their house.

Mike and his team did the brickwork, drainage and patio repairs when our conservatory was upgraded. They were reliable, tidy and great at solving problems when they arose. They recently replaced my Mum's broken garden wall with a fence and did a great job. I would wholeheartedly recommend and would use them again in the future.
We highly recommend MTB Building Services. They have recently completed extensive changes to our conservatory, which included raising the height of the room and putting in a pitched tiled roof, with skylight windows. The work also included bifold doors a window, brickwork and extending the patio to in front of the bifold doors. Michael and his team of workers were incredibly efficient and clean and tidy in their work and always polite. We saw Michael most days throughout the project, he ensured we were happy daily with the progression of work. We cannot recommend them enough and will always call upon them for any future building works.

Their work was done to a very high standard especially with the removal of our outside wall to fit a new window couldn't believe how neat it looked. Highly recommend Mike and his team. They replaced our front bay window, re-pointed brick work and rebuilt the window sill. We have used MTB on a few occasions now and would not go anywhere else and would recommend them to anyone. They have just re-laid our brick path which looks amazing and re pointed the entire Patio , the guys worked so hard to get the job done. They cleared up after themselves and the completed jobs are fantastic, I will certainly be using them again and again for any building work I need. So reliable as well
We had a single-storey extension built at the start of the year, running from Jan to April 2022. Mike and his team were great throughout - pleasant, efficient, and have done a great job. Mike kept us informed proactively throughout the process and was always happy to advise on different options. He also put us in touch with all the other trades we needed to complete the project. I am very pleased with the work done by Michael and his team who converted my utility room into an open plan kitchen by removing the internal wall to the living room, extending the space by taking 3 ft off the garage and changing the flat roof to an angled & tiled roof. The utility room used to floor after heavy rains so the floor was raised to match the level of the living room floor. Supervised by Graeme Burge, all the people who worked on the project were very efficient, pleasant and tidy. The materials were delivered in a timely manner for them to be able to complete the work in a timely fashion. Would be happy to recommend MTB to friends.
Michael and the team did an excellent job building a 4m single storey extension (with volted ceiling and two big sky lights) and integrating an existing external garage into a utility room. This included a two 7m steels being installed and 6m bi-fold doors being fitted. Michael believes that communication is key to successful projects so he was great at keeping us informed each day with the work that had been done / planned. The guys who worked for him were so polite, hard working and friendly. He was also innovative with suggesting different ways of achieving some difficult problems we encountered along the journey. We highly recommend MTB to anyone looking for building work done and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to our friends and family!
The two polite work men arrived and were ready to take shoes off to pass through to back of the house.They told me what they planned to do to repair and replace my gale damage This all done promptly and with respect. Its 4th time I have used this company and honestly wouldn't use anyone else. some of these jobs being Building a large patio on the lower half of my garden Front fencing Back fencing Removing of 2 huge bushes one being holly and a small tree I feel safe with MTB Building and Landscaping

If I could give more stars I would. We wanted a small extension to run across the front of our house each side of our bay window. This would extend our garage space and provide a small porch. We originally had a builder to do this work but fortunately for us he let us down choosing a larger job over our work even though we had him booked. We wanted our windows replaced at the same time. I had already found someone to fit our windows and asked if they could recommend a builder. He did and we were extremely pleased. Mike was able to do our work, giving us exactly what we wanted. He gave excellent advice and arranged an electrician and someone to fit a roller door for us. The builders, roofers and Plasterers were fantastic and Mike always came round to check we were happy. Everyone came when they said and if there was anytime they couldn’t get there we were always informed. Their attention to detail was amazing and they worked constantly, even in the heat. Mike told me it was the smallest extension he had done but all I can say is he brought our ideas to life. Mike sorted out everything, working alongside the window guys, the shutter company and the electrician. We would more than recommend his company.
MTB demolished a garden building and took up a slab and patio. Michael was extremely easy to communicate with, and always called me if there was a decision my required my input, which was much appreciated. The guys doing the work were always on time (very punctual) and extremely clean and tidy (even had next door come to say how much they appreciated the workers protecting their fence). Highly recommended! I have already told a number of acquaintances to use MTB.
Mike and his team have recently completed a downstairs extension and partial remodel. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout, and kept me informed on progress & was always available to answer the endless questions I had prior to starting and while the build was in progress. We are delighted with the end result and will definitely have MTB back in for future projects and would recommend.
The teams work, both speed and quality was top notch! Incredibly satisfied. Mike's communication was key throughout; upfront, honest and timely so we all knew where we stood - which is essential when coming up against the inevitable bumps along the process.
We needed to have a small exension added to the side of the house and then have this made into a downstairs wetroom. Mike and his team were exceptional. So in total they built an extension then knocked through into the main house, then installed plumbing from the main house and full electrics into the new build. At all times working around my parents and always working with us when I made additional requests, I asked them to redo all the outside paving. Then the guys completly finished the build with a full wetroom installation with additional items such as underfloor heating, Electric hairdyres etc. They never questioned any additional requests and ensured we were involved at all times. At all stages of the build Mike ensured we were happy before moving onto the next area. He even put me intouch with people for gates etc. Mike arranged for the Electricians and plumbers and he controlled everything you could not ask for a better team of people relaible, spotless in clean up and the patience of a saint. I would have no issues recommending Mike and the team for any building work the qullaity was amazing and the finished job is just brilliant he has really taken the time to blend in the build from windows to tiling it is a first rate job. And all of this was done in the winter months so pretty exceptional. All in all you could not wish for better builders for any job from large to small
