John turned up on time & did a quick repair of the leaking old ball cock on a water header tank in our loft. He was professional & gave us useful advice to avoid similar issues during future freezing temperatures.
I called John to help with a leaking toilet. He called to let me know when he was on his way. The job was done quickly and John clearly explained what the problem was. I asked his advice about another non urgent job and he took a look at it and told me what to do before getting the issue fixed. I will definitely get John back to fix this problem and any others that may arise. He is helpful and polite.
I'm delighted to have found John. He's reliable, careful, knows what he's doing and his prices are very reasonable. Throughout his visit, I felt his main concern was providing the best solution with respect to durability and cost, and avoiding causing other problems. We called John as an emergency and he said he’d phone 10 minutes before he could arrive and he did. It’s the small things that make all the difference. The boiler was intermittent but didn’t know exactly what was wrong, John solved the issue and persevered on a Friday afternoon and early evening, to ensure we weren’t without heating. He is a great guy, explained everything to me and options. Explained the pricing and I was able to do an instant bank transfer. We’ll be booking in for our annual service , we we’re really impressed and happy with the experience

I can not recommend this guy highly enough. I found him originally by Googling him, and thought he looked reliable, and have found him to be extremely so. The first time I rang him a few months ago: I needed an emergency plumber. John was tied up at the time, but recommended someone else who came and got the job done. Yesterday, I again needed an emergency plumber for a different problem and luckily John was free and was round before I was expecting him. He came round really quickly. He completed the job I needed and also did a couple of small plumbing jobs I’d been putting off, extremely satisfactorily. Every time I’ve phoned John or contacted him via email etc, he has answered the phone or responded to my email very promptly. I’m really impressed. Thanks for being a “life saver”, John. Best wishes! P.S. His rates were not any dearer than I expected so I guess he’s good value too!

Really pleased with John we had a shower that was leaking badly, he came same day we called him and did a fantastic job, if you need a plumber John is one of the best.

If you need an emergency plumber look no further than John Gibbs. Yesterday he fixed a plumbing nightmare. The water pump wasn't working -(so no hot water / heat in winter) AND it was leaking badly (so water was coming through the ceiling) AND the leak couldn't be turned off (a valve had failed). So relieved that John came out late on a Saturday afternoon and within a couple of hours it was all sorted. Absolutely brilliant.
Can go only off talk from friends n other reviews post to be a very pleasant place and the owner is post to be a very good worker at his trade so if you ever need a plumber people here's your man
