Wow, what a company! From meeting Scott initially we felt comfortable with his knowledge and support in choosing the right boiler to suit our household. Communication was brilliant throughout. The work was booked in and Callum, Royce and Scott arrived on time. All three worked to overcome a small issue with our house, communicating with us throughout. Callum and Royce worked well together and kept work areas clean and tidy throughout. Time was spent explaining how our new system will work and what to do if any issues do arise. Great pre sales service, and instillation great. Even took everything away ols water cylinder, boiler and water tank! Only issue is they need to come back as we can see small holes of daylight, as pipes outside just need a bit more sealer. Overall very good service. Also just waiting to be contacted to check all is ok, and details of the monthly service plan they offer, please!

GWE have serviced our boiler for some years. We had booked for them to come next week, but something came up and we had to cancel yesterday. As it happened, someone else had cancelled yesterday, so the engineer arrived in the afternoon and promptly services the boiler, explaining what was going on and reassuring us our boiler was in good condition, despite being 11 years old! Excellent service.

Replacement condensing boiler was successfully installed. Work was completed on agreed date and on time, with minimal disruption.

I've used GWE for boiler servicing and minor plumbing work for several years. Nice people to deal with, always prompt, and they leave things clean and tidy. Their engineer spotted a problem with our new boiler that had been causing central heating failures and had not been noticed by the original installer. (Now fixed under warranty). Recommended.

After our boiler started leaking, GWE were quick to send someone out to fix the problem. The engineer cleaned the air escape valve and at the same time did a yearly service on the boiler to comply with guarantee requirements. As of now it is working OK and I can recommend them as they are quick to help when a plumbing problem arises.

GWE just finished works on my kitchen installation. As per usual, the pipework is immaculate. The tradespeople are always on time, very professional, tidy and great communicators. I cannot recommend them enough. I continue to use them annually for my boiler service and gas fire safety check. The prices are competitive and where slightly more expensive, then guaranteed workmanship and craftmanship can be expected.

I recently asked GWE to fix a water temperature issue and service of my Worcester boiler. Throughout the process, the communication from their office was friendly and clear, and they quickly responded to my queries by email or phone. Both engineers who worked at my home were knowledgeable, hardworking, and left the workspace clean and tidy. I would highly recommend GWE.

Two aspects of the limited interaction that I had with GWE disappointed. Firstly, the missed appointment. Never a good look but no call to apologise on the actual night either before or after the appointment time. "Nul Points!" Then, after a couple of days someone does actually call to apologise, doesn't offer any explanation and then, once told that my business had gone elsewhere, laughed and told me that that was great (!). It wasn't. Strange and rubbish engagement indeed. I wouldn't be putting my business towards a company that leaves a carefree/careless impression especially given the nature of their work installing gas boilers and the like. Better options elsewhere.

We booked in a date to have work carried out at our property, it was a month wait but this was fine . The engineer arrived but when the items were delivered for them to install they were all incorrect. The engineer left and we had to wait a further 2 weeks for the work to be carried out . When they arrived the second time one of the items was wrong again . We had to use another plumbing company to carry out the work we wanted . The 2 engineers that came did a great job but there seems to be an issue in the office of this company.

All very easy and reassuring

Excellent business. They previously installed a new boiler and have regularly performed annual boiler services for us. This time they have upgraded 3 double panel radiators replacing singles. They quoted a price for this and stated if the job took less time than expected, they would reduce the bill to reflect it. Subsequently they invoiced me for a reduction of the bill by £262. Really nice installers and exceptionally tidy workers. Recommended without hesitation.

I was really pleased with the work done to replace my old boiler and radiators by the GWE engineers. The men (Andy and Callum) were polite, happy to answer questions and careful in my house. The carpets still look as good as before they started 🙂. I like the fact that the company use top-rated boilers as their standard models and guarantee them for 10 years as long as you have them serviced every year. I’m also very pleased with how efficient the new system seems to be. I’m still trying to save energy and this very effective set up is helping me to do that. I used this company for my boiler service. The technician was prompt, really knowledgeable and helpful providing tips on how to elongate the use of my boiler and what to keep an eye out for. He spent some time ensuring the boiler was working properly (something I have not found with previous companies I have used) I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

GWE recently fitted a new boiler and serviced another boiler. Their quotes were very detailed and competitive. Nadine and Jamie in the local office were friendly and very efficient. Very friendly and courteous, tidy and clean work

GWE installed a Worcester Bosch combi boiler to replace a 25year old system. They removed all redundant pipes and tanks and disposed of them leaving our property clean and tidy both inside and outside. The installers power flushed the remaining pipes and radiators and fitted TRV's to all radiators. Well done Scott, Andy and Callum (and of course Nadine and Jamie in the office).

Had a callout charge as stated of £78 and engineer was there 20 minutes and still a leak. Said they could do it a week later and sent a quote including the call out charge of £409 for a leaking radiator valve. Warned that the cost could be higher as system might need draining. Got work done 2 days later by a reliable local plumber charged me £180 and did the job in 20 minutes!

GWE fitted a new boiler in our house nearly three years ago. Since then they have serviced the boiler each year, replaced an old control unit, and sorted issues with two underfloor heating manifolds. The service has been professional every time.

I had GWE replace my old standard type boiler - a tank-fed Hot Water and Heating system, with a new combi-boiler and pressurised heating system. It was definitely far from a straightforward swap, and was done at the height of the heatwave. The engineers who did the work were polite, knowledgeable, and hard working. Scott from GWE visited, did the survey and laid out the options for a new boiler and radiators with the including the "HIVE". Very very professional. He left the final decision to us. No high pressure sales stuff. We decided, he quoted and within 24 hours had the quote which was straightforward. This we accepted and the work was carried out two weeks ago much to our delight. Andy was the engineer who fitted and then a follow up visit by AJ to finish off some bits and pieces. Nadine in the office was superb as was Jamie. We got GWE to replace our old combi boiler, and we opted for a Worcester Bosch as Which? reviewed them as most reliable. GWE are accredited Worcester Bosch fitters and we opted for them because of that and also because their qoute was reasonable. The engineer AJ arrived on time and was friendly and informative. He worked very hard to fit the new boiler, resolved an issue that arose during the work really effectively and explained about it really clearly. AJ did a really brilliant briefing on how to use the boiler and cleaned up very thoroughly after himself. The whole customer service experience was really excellent.

Really recommend GWE, brilliant company who solved our boiler problem so fast! We discovered we would need a new boiler so gathered a number of quotes, they were much cheaper than a number of other companies, they were able to instal the boiler within 2 weeks of the quote which at this time of year is amazing & the guy who came to instal the boiler was really lovely, they left the house very tidy, filled any holes and cleared away any mess! 100% recommend

AJ and Matt came to install a new combi boiler over the past three days. Removed all the conventional boiler part such as tanks, immersion heater and old boiler. Such respect for my house as they worked cleanly and neatly. Pipework is a work of art and they kept asking if i was happy with what they were doing. I arranged to have my annual boiler service at a time convenient to myself and the service person was exactly on time and very thorough checking the metering the garage , the boiler and in the loft too. Everything was very good and I was so impressed I asked him for the annual service plan and insurance. Later that morning they informed me what it entailed and I was satisfied so I signed up for it. GWE fitted a new gas boiler (to replace our 1980's 'antique' one), together with new hot water cylinder The whole process, from initial site visit, quotation and installation, was flawless. The two engineers did a fantastic job and took great care to minimise any inconvenience over the 3 1/2 days they were with us. Great service from start to finish for our home boiler. Unfortunately the boiler failed its annual service but the engineer explained everything. This was then followed up with a quick and timely quote and we proceeded to have the new boiler installed. Slight issue with a radiator following this which was quickly dealt with. Would definitely recommend.

Boiler service, and subsequent repair to leaking vent. Initial site assessment was conducted promptly, and subsequent quotation was very clear, noting that any final bill would reflect detailed changes (up or down) which were related to actual works being more (or less) complex than original estimate. Specifically this related to labour costs (and time), rather than actual costs of parts. In the event, the work was done faster than expected, and the final billing was less than the estimate. Very professional all round.

Better than other plumber's we tried to fix thermostat in mixer shower as rather than state we needed a new shower GWE removed the faulty thermostat and fitted a matching part. Not only does it work as well as the original it has saved us £100's and the hastle of fitting a new shower and retailing. Very quick and efficient and plumber wore a mask during the covid lockdown. Highly recommended.

GWE came to replace our boiler, at the same time we discovered a long term leak with our water tank. They were able to get a new tank and fit it the following day by moving other jobs around. This is not the first time they have bent over backwards for us. They are Covid safe and Scott has built a great team around him. Have used them for over 10 years and never had a problem.

Our first experiance with GWE, and so far very pleased with the service provided. Steve came on time to look at the job of having a new radiator and pipework fitted and the system flushed, and we recieved the quote next day. We thought it was a reasonable price, so went for it after reading glowing reviews. Steve is a nice fella and gives you confidence in what he's doing. He's coming back to service the boiler and gas fire aswell. Ladies in the office are helpful and friendly too. On our experience so far, we will use them again should we need to.

This is the first time I used GWE and was very impressed from the point of assessment of needs right through to the completion of the work. Very poor service. I booked a boiler service and they did not come at the correct time. They left a message asking if they could bring the appointment forward but did not wait for confirmation and showed up when I wasn't there. I ensured that I was in my flat at the time we agreed. As a result my boiler didn't get serviced. No apology either.

all the equipment was delivered in the morning of the job.the plumber arrived and the new boiler was up and running by the evening.the next day they cleaned all existing radiators pipes and checked all was working properly. very impressed with all service.

Although I've been using GWE for years, even when they were So Gas, I have no faith in them anymore. I had issues with rental properties last year & now know I was totally overcharged & the issues were not sorted promptly or properly. Since becoming GWE, as a good client who has given them lots of business their attitude is lazy & not really willing to help. They send out workmen who have no idea. I've just recently found another supplier who charged less than half the price & is very trustworthy. Personally I'd look around before going with this company. Really disappointed 😞

Cannot fault these guys. I called for a quote on Wednesday and my brand new boiler was up and running 2 days later. Every person I dealt with was super helpful and polite, and I really appreciated the patience and advice I was offered when I clearly had no idea what was what! The entire process was simple and easy. Your boiler dying is generally one of the worst things that can happen as a homeowner but these guys made it stress-free and were even happy to let themselves in so I could stay at work when they returned to do the power flush. Very happy customer!
