As a letting agent, I have used Climate Gas for over 15years. I provide a schedule of the properties, with the occupants contact details (with permission) Climate Gas then make contact with occupant to arrange appointment for safety check, then forward certificate and invoice for me to pay. I have never in all this time had any negative reports form occupants. If Climate gas have to do any additional work or have any queries, they telephone me to get approval. Professional, but more importantly friendly, caring and good at customer service. A family independent firm where the customer comes first!

I have been a customer for a few years now. They fitted 4 boilers for my rentals and have dealt with numerous jobs for me. I just call them whenever I have a plumbing/boiler problem and they sort it out quickly. Today I called the company to sort out an overflowing toilet and they were able to sort it out the same day for me. The office staff and gas engineers/plumbers are always so helpful and they charge a fair price for the work they do.
Richard and Elliott from Climate Gas just replaced our old Glow-Worm Hideaway boiler (from 1996) with a brand-new Worcester Bosch. Richard had always gone above and beyond to keep our previous boiler running, leaving no stone unturned, but the time had finally come when it couldn’t be saved. The team worked incredibly hard, remained polite and professional throughout, and kept us fully informed at every stage. The entire replacement was seamless, spotlessly clean, and incredibly tidy. The new boiler is performing flawlessly, and the installation looks neat and professional. We couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend Climate Gas to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality heating engineers. Fantastic work all round!

Richard arrived within an hour of my initial phone call.He quickly diagnosed the issue with my water heater. From initial phone call to completion of the job took about 90 minutes including cleaning up any mess. The price was considerably cheaper than we were quoted by British Gas. Not all hero’s wear a cape! Richard did a fantastic job fixing my boiler when I was left without heating or hot water. He arrived promptly and his friendly, knowledgeable demeanour put me at ease straight away. Heating not working and phoned to arrange call out. Richard arrived within an hour or two. He was extremely efficient and kept us informed throughout. Did a temporary fix which unfortunately didn’t last long. Next day he phoned to see how things had gone. When told it hadn’t worked he came out immediately and rectified the situation. Climate Gas are a very professional company, Lewis arrived on time to replace 2 old style radiators with new Vertical ones. Lewis explained the way he would do this and his workmanship was excellent, he kept to the quoted timeslot and removed the old radiators. So impressed with Climate Gas and the service they gave me over the Christmas period. I was trying to help an elderly relative whose heating had broken down. I called them on Christmas Eve and James was there by coffee time and diagnosed the problem. We needed to clear some wasps from the loft before he could fix it, but he was in touch on boxing day and back the day after with everything done and sorted (including a boiler service) by the end of the day. Excellent service. Came quickly as we had no heating. However it was entirely my fault because the batteries on the thermostat had run out. I thought it was wired into the system. But the engineer was polite and friendly. This company is always pleasant to deal with.

Poor service and unprofessional engineers. Quoted me £5771 to install a small new combi boiler and 4 radiators in a 2 bedroomed flat! No breakdown on how they arrived at that figure. Installed a mixer tap recently which doesn't actually work as a mixer tap. Engineer came round and just told me that is the way it works. Yet the tap that it replaced was working as a mixer tap for well over 5 years.

Climate Gas are great guys! They have visited me a number of times, serviced my boiler, helped try to solve problems, replaced my boiler when they couldn't solve the issue (nothing to do with their skills!) and fitted a pump, filter and Hive system! They are polite, efficient, clean up after themselves and are competitive on price! Would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Recently had an ancient central heating boiler replaced together with 2 new radiators, ahead of schedule due to a cancellation. The system was cleaned through in advance, just 1 day notice. Lewis and Ricky did a great job, work was carried out in a very professional and clean manner. They are both friendly and have a very good work ethic. So many tradesmen you book appointments and they just don’t turn up. At climate gas the girls on reception are very helpful, they take down the details, book you in and send a confirmation email. The plumbers turn up on time and have always sorted out every problem I’ve had and cleared up after them. I wish all companies were so easy to deal with. I’ve used them on numerous occasions and have found them to be 100% reliable.
What a wonderful firm recommended by a friend. Had my gas fire serviced excellent job. 2months later fire would not ignite. Rang the office appointment made for the following morning but an hour later the engineer turned up as he was in the area. No fault with the fire, it was me (senior moment) there was no charge for this particular call out. Would recommend them to anyone. Well done Richard and staff. An appreciative customer.

Our boiler started leaking on Friday morning, quick call to climate gas , and they were out to assess the situation. They stopped the leak and ordered the new parts . Luckily Richard was able to sort the boiler so we still had hot water over the weekend. Monday the parts came and Richard and Ricky fixed the faulty valve and front clock face of the boiler. Amazing service , friendly helpful staff . We have always use climate gas for the annual service on this boiler and our old one which Mark usually does. They send you email reminders which are very helpful. Cannot beat the professionalism of this company. Fantastic.. great friendly team
We had a lounge radiator which after 36 years no longer ever reached maximum heat. British Gas told us the only solution was to replace every radiator in the house. We asked for a visit from Climate Gas and Richard advised us just to replace the lounge radiator and to add thermostat valves to the other radiators. The work was completed within a week of Richard’s visit by Richard himself and Lewis. We were impressed by their punctuality arriving on time and completing the job very efficiently. Both worked incredibly hard and they tidied up exceptionally well. The new radiator works perfectly as do the thermostat valves with the result our gas bill will be reduced as our lounge now warms up most effectively.
We always use Climate Gas for our properties but when your own boiler stops working and doesn’t respond it’s great to talk to your engineer after hours to talk you through troubleshooting ideas to get the heating on in freezing conditions. Climate gas is the first company to understand the system, gave us excellent advice, and fitted a new system in a speedy time. Central heating packed up, leaving this pair of old age pensioners without any heating or hot water. Climate Gas were their first thing the following day and efficiently remedied the problem with a smile. We were very impressed.
Avoid this company at all costs. Buckle up, it’s a long one. We have used them for the last 6 years to service our boiler and gas fire. The last time in November they signed off our gas fire as safe to use. We haven’t used it a lot in the past, but this year decided to use it quite a lot. When using it we noticed that flames were coming out at strange angles, so I went to reposition the coals and noticed that 2 were missing. My memory kicked in and I remembered that their engineer threw away 2 of the coals when he serviced the fire. We phoned Climate Gas and they said that the fire was old and you can’t get coals for it anymore, but they would send an engineer to quote for a new fire. The engineer visited and said it would be around £2000 for a new fire to be installed. Whilst waiting for the engineer visit I had spoken to the manufacturer of our fire who said the coals are still manufactured and available, I showed that to the engineer and he said just buy the coals and you’ll be good to go. So we did, £70 to replace it all. We then struggled to get the coals so that the flames weren’t coming out of the front and so phoned climate gas to ask if someone to could pop in and check it for us, instead we got a phone call from the engineer saying as long as the flames are going up it’s fine, not helpful. In the end we phoned another local gas engineer who we know and he came straight over to service the fire (an other £70) and he very quickly condemned the fire and cut it off as it was very unsafe. He said it was leaking carbon monoxide quite badly, which explains why we all got so sick in January when we were using the fire a lot. He then did an inspection on the flue and said that it doesn’t meet modern standards and no modern gas fire would be able to use it, meaning that the only replacement fire we could have is an electric one. So, not only did Climate Gas sign off a dangerous fire that was leaking carbon monoxide as safe, they then tried to sell us a replacement gas fire, saying it would be fine with the flue, despite the fact the replacement wouldn’t have been safe either.

Just wanted gas cooker installed I phoned up and was given an appointment for the next day, very efficient service and good price. James was very helpful.
Mark came out at short notice last Saturday to confirm a gas leak and make it safe. He came back on Wednesday and installed new pipework from gas meter to the cooker and boiler in the kitchen. Excellent friendly service as with all the ladies in the office and Richard who also services mine and our sons boiler.
Climate Gas have been looking after my parents plumbing and heating requirements for as long as I can remember, (Richard might have only just come out of short trousers lol) and I know my father was extremely happy with the fabulous service the company offer. I was there one of the last times they had a call out and the young lad was extremely patient with my elderly dad. Sadly both parents are now gone and I have recently had need to contact Climate Gas to request the last service bill for the sale of the property and they couldn't have been more accommodating - a copy was emailed within a few minutes. Climate Gas installed a Tado receiver, 3 TRVs and fixed a leaking radiator. Everything was done really efficiently with no mess. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

This firm was recommended by a builder I trust to sort out the ancient oil fired central heating & water system in my father-in-laws house. The system has never worked properly for years, only heating the water tank when the central heating was on. Richard turned up to do the service and quickly identified the system was incorrectly wired plus a dodgy switch valve wasn't helping. He worked very diligently and professionally until the system was operating correctly, which took a few hours. Yet the final bill including all the new parts and labour was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be using them again to service and maintain the system

I got in contact with climate gas as my boiler had given up the ghost. I needed a new boiler, water tanks removed etc. These guys gave the most reasonable quotes, gave sensible suggestions that didn’t add extra to the price ie I wanted a normal thermostat not Hive. I was told the work would take two days and that’s what it took. Lewis and Ricky were the ones to come and do the work and I always felt safe and comfortable with them in my home. Everything was left clean and tidy and best of all the payment due was exactly what was quoted. I will be coming back to these guys for my service moving forward. Great work.

The work was carried out in a throughly professional manner, with safety and tidiness in mind at all times. The quality of the work produced was exceptional, both in terms of service and product. I had contacted many gas engineer's and promised phone call's back but to no avail. I then went back to my original post and saw these guy's. I messaged them on Sunday not expecting a reply seeing as it was OOH and I was surprised when they replied, they asked for a picture of my cooker and within minute's told me to check the battery as it was a standard AA battery. I thought my ignition on my gas cooker was more than just a battery. Not only did they respond quick they resolved my issue without having to come out. Not many companies would of been so helpful can't thank them enough and would highly recommend 😊

Climate gas has just completed the installation of a new boiler to replace the boiler which had been in the house since it was built in the 1960's. Being an older house this threw up its fair share of challenges, not least of which the weather being atrocious. Elliot & Lewis were fantastic, professional and very cheery throughout completing the job over the two days it was scheduled for, despite the installation being far from straightforward. We once again have a toasty house and couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommended

I had a sudden water leak under my kitchen unit so called Climate Gas. They were so busy but told me that they would try to get to me as soon as they could. Because this company had carried out work on my central heating at the beginning of the year to a great standard, I was reluctant to use any other company. Richard the engineer came out and quickly and expertly fixed the leak. Such a genuinely authentic company and I would highly recommend it. Thank you
Richard Hayter, my namesake (but no relation!), came to my house some time ago and gave me some good advice re my central heating system, which is well over 20 years old, without charging. His good service and common sense attitude stayed in my memory, and I had always intended to give him some paid work when that was required. My central heating circulating pump duly obliged today, and Richard turned up promptly. He tried to save the pump (and therefore cost to me), but a replacement was necessary. The work was carried out quickly and without fuss, and more good advice given re steps that could be taken after the winter to prolong the life of the system. Excellent! Will definitely be using his services again.

For a considerable period we had issues with our Glowworm boiler. It then got to the point it was flicking to Fault continually. Having called a plumber he advised we call Valliant and request we pay an out of warranty repair fee which is around 300 quid! Having done so Valliant engineer arrived following day. Looked at Boiler and within 5 mins had come to the decision he wouldn't or couldn't work upon it. Struggling with no heating or hot water he left. Having called numerous people we were advised to call Climate Gas Ltd. Initially they told us that they would not be able to see us until the following day. Later that day I got a call and within 10mins an engineer was at the door. He reviewed the issue and with 40mins not only did he have the parts he needed he had repaired the issue. Even went around the house bleeding our radiators. And to top it off... the costs were over £100 less than that of a previous quote. Totally outstanding 👏 👌 👍

Tried to charge us 3 hours labour costs for a 30 minute job. When we queried it, they "offered" to reduce it to 2 hours as if they were doing us a favour! Poor.

I could not recommend Climate gas highly enough. My dad first starting using climate gas back in the early 90s and then I started to use the family run business too when I bought my first home in the early 00s. Over the years we as a family have had climate gas come out and do services on our boilers, emergency repairs, and new boilers put in. Every time we have needed them they have been their for us. When ever anyone asks for a good gas engineer I always say climate gas. I have never felt ripped off or worried about the service they provide, always professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We have used Climate Gas every year for the past couple of years and have had great service everytime. We changed from our previous company as Climate Gas prices were more reasonable than most. They did a fantastic job with our last boiler change, and our tenants were happy with the speed they worked and how clean they did too.
Climate Gas arrived after an emergency call on a Sunday and very quickly identified the problem and how to fix it. Rich helped replace values to the radiator to stop the leak and brought the boiler pressure down to the correct level. Provided fantastic workmanship, quick and effective. Extremely clean and tidy. Rich was extremely courteous (especially being called out on a Sunday!) and provided us with great suggestions and guidance on how to avoid any future problems. Would recommend to all.
