I used ABC for both a regular service and an emergency call out. Work is professional. Call out fees were transparent and he did his best to minimise my cost. Altaf was able to investigate and resolve an unusual issue where another tradesman let us down.

Leaking boiler, up front with costs (and reasonable), out to me in no time at all - less than 30 minutes efficient polite and informative. Repaired the issue and made reccomendations for future. I'll be keeping a note of them and will use again (hopefully just for services rather than emergencies!)

Great service. I had a boiler service and a fix to a cracked pipe. Talked through every step of what was being done and why. Took pictures of all internal parts that had been cleaned to really show the difference before and after. Very clean and tidy whilst working and cleaned up after the job was finished. If I could give zero stars I would. Moved house 2 days ago, I am having issues with hot water, the shower and need a gas engineer to re connect an oven. I called ABC plumbers at 10.40 who very promptly organised for an engineer to come out, the time estimate was 30-60 mins. 3 hours later, 2 chaser calls and still no engineer. I was told the engineer would contact me when on route, that didn’t happen, I called again for an update, I was informed of a situation regarding a broken down van. By 1.40 I decided to organise an alternative plumber, called ABC to say I wouldn’t be needing their services any longer, was met with “if you just give us a minute……we can speak to the an engineer etc” I have since had a text saying sorry and offering a discount for any future work. Unfortunately for me that doesn’t inspire any trust. Appalling communication and disrespectful to leave me waiting for 3 hours.

ABC Heating Services were amazing at installing a new gas hob for me. After calling several other companies, who either refused to install a pre bought hob or just didn't respond, ABC Heating came out within a week of contacting them to get it installed. Al came out because I had an ongoing problem with Luke warm radiators downstairs. He gave a lot of good advice about how to use the boiler and the radiator thermostats and looked at all the radiator valves spending a couple of hours until we were satisfied. Will be asking him back to do the full boiler service any time soon.

I don't often write reviews, but this is one of those rare times when you find someone who is now the absolute go-to for all future work. Al at ABC showed up when he said, kept me informed, and then did the most comprehensive boiler service imaginable. And nearly everything was new. But - he showed every step and highlighted where previous services have not been done so thoroughly, especially in sediment trap (which had clearly never been done, even by Worcester/Bosch). The performance findings were consistent with previous service results, and he tuned it up. Al enjoys his work, and he is exceptionally knowledgeable and competent. I took time out to watch and learn; its rewarding watching experts at their craft. Absolutely recommend, and have set a reminder to book ABC again next year.

I had a bathroom radiator suddenly start leaking relatively late at night and as I had only just moved into my new home I had no real tools. I googled numbers in the area and came across ABC Heating Services but unfortunately they were based too far from my location. Nevertheless they provided me with step by step instructions on what to do and how to stop the leak via WhatsApp and video calls. Saved me worrying all night how to stop the leak so would highly recommend 👌

ABC were utterly professional. Offered a quick response and date, my boiler needed a full clean and service. The service took longer than expected and he continued to clean and service our boiler for 3.5 hrs cutting no corners I then received a full report in PDF files and photos attached. Highly recommend Al, the boiler was damaged due to my operator error, Al responded quickly to the call and came to my house very quickly to solve the problem for me. Subsequent to ordering the original parts for me, after working tirelessly and double-checking to make sure there were no leaks. Al did an excellent job on our heating system, getting it back up and running after a rewire when things weren't running correctly. This last fortnight we had a pretty severe leak in our boiler. I decided to try someone new and i’m glad I did because I was blown away by the level of service I received. ABC responded quickly and when they arrived Al explained the problem in its entirety. He went through what the problem was, why it had occurred and what our options were. Since being in this house for 4 years noone else has done that. ABC solved the problem and even took the time to advise us on energy saving and proper boiler usage completely unprompted. Incredibly impressed and I have already saved ABC’s number. Because I am going to call them for all future boiler tests and repairs. They blow the lesta competition out of the water. I have had a great experience with ABC Heating Services. Very Professional from the outset. The engineer From ABC was extremely competent and he did not waste time getting straight to work. I found their number online and urgently needed somebody the same day, I called at about 4pm and we agreed for them to come at about 6pm. His price was agreed from the outset and he stuck to what was agreed. I even had a radiator that was leaking and on his way out he quickly resolved it and did not even charge extra for it. I have used their services twice so far and intend to use them again. Very happy with the service and would strongly recommend them.

What more can i say about the first class professional service i have received from Mr.Al of ABC Heating Services.I had a new boiler fitted by Northern gas and upon two follow up visits from their inspectors,they failed to carry out work satisfactory.Only when i had an engineer to fit a smart meter i was told there is an internal gas leak and needed to be dealt with.I called Al yesterday he arrived promptly and straightaway went to work on finding the leakage.The leak was found on the boiler installation which even after two inspections by Northern gas inspectorates did not find. I would highly recommend this company and the work carried out by Mr Al is top notch.I was also given very positive advice on the safety of other appliances.The price paid for the services was very reasonable. Al, recently installed a Nest thermostat for us. He arrived when he said he would. The job was undertaken to a high standard. He spent five hours on site as there were problems with the previous wiring for the heating, which he resolved and put right. Al, completed a high quality job. I would highly recommend him.

Excellent customer service and very thorough. I live at home with my elderly mother. Our central heating stopped working a week ago and I was waiting around for the warranty provider and numerous other engineers who failed to turn up repeatedly for a week. Its been freezing cold in the meanwhile and i was very frustrated by how unreliable everyone was. Then i called ABC Heating Services very late last night and by 11am this morning the heating has been fixed. Altaf was very prompt, professional and was genuinely concerned about my problem and that my mother was suffering. He arranged a visit to my house at 9am this morning and had the part with him to fix. He got straight to work and got the system working immediately. Excellent customer service and very polite. Where do I start what a genuinely nice person. I recommend you consider them for your heating and plumbing needs as the service was brilliant. I emailed originally to get a price on a boiler service and nest install, I got a response within 20 mins on the weekend and was really impressed with the price and speed of response. On the day of install had a message sent to me say he was running late and apologised. He came in introduce him self and asked where the boiler is and got straight to it he worked really quick and got it all done in around an hour, and cleaned up before leaving. Gave an explanation about everything he had done and how the nest works. And showed me the issues that the previous company I had used had left by not doing a proper job. Absolutely amazing service good on price and will be using again.

Had a boiler leak last week and arranged for ABC to visit and diagnose the problem. Was charged a £70 call out fee for the first 30 mins. Engineer spent around an hour and was charged a £100 to fix the problem. Only problem was the boiler wasn't fixed! I then contacted them to say the leak wasn't fixed and was told that the leak was coming from a part they had tightened and they would contact the boiler manufacturer. A week later and no response. If you have a plumbing problem I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I have called ABC Heating Services out on two occasions and both times Al was exceptional. The first time he figured out that a problem with hot water in the kitchen was not caused by the boiler, but by the shower in the main bathroom. The two domestic gas engineers I had called out before him were not able to work this out - they said I needed to change the taps on the kitchen sink, and were useless! Through a process of elimination, Al systematically checked everything to make sure he could find the exact problem. He also clearly explained what work needed to be done. The second time I called Al, he serviced our 8/9 year old boiler and again he did a very thorough job. He cleaned it and tested everything to make sure it met the standards required as outlined in the boiler manual. Al really knows what he is doing. His prices are fair, he does a great job, and he's super nice to deal with - truly refreshing!

Recently I noticed my pressure has been going down and I knew I have not had a leak in the house at all. Near midnight on a Sunday it went completely down that I had no hot water. I called ABC around midnight and they answered. They asked me few questions and had informed me what exactly the problem was but I can still get hot water and heating but it does need to be replaced ASAP. He did say he can do it for me ASAP but as I already had service agreement elsewhere he said call them as I have already paid for it but inform them what the problem was. It has been replaced but it was very assuring and service people also mentioned ABC diagnosis regarding the expansion vessel was absolutely spot on. I would definitely recommend ABC Heating Services, very honest, diagnoses fault correctly ASAP and was available ASAP on the phone and to come over.

10/10 for everything, highly recommended and at last I’ve found someone who I can trust to do a quality job. I will base this review on 5 things; Quality of work - 10/10 - now he is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about how boilers work, he even took the time to explain to me how certain parts work and if something happens in the future here are some quick tips - real perfectionist about his work as he kept double checking things constantly to make sure it was all spot on - which for me is great as it puts my mind at ease and it shows he knows what he’s doing. Price - 10/10 (under the circumstances we were extremely vulnerable with no heating or hot water yet the total cost including labour, call out and ultimatly his time on a Saturday morning etc was completely acceptable. Punctuality 10/10 - he said 10am and he was here spot on time, when he had sourced the part he also messaged me saying he was on his way and kept really good contact with me, anyone else wouldn’t have bothered and I was completely surprised that he’d gone and made the effort to locate us a part and come back to fit it. Cleanliness 10/10 - my small room is in exactly the same way we had left it, he wiped down and kept everything nice and tidy, all the screws went back in and all my magnets went back on the boiler. Service 10/10 - faultless, haven’t even needed to call him back. I’m actually keeping him as my go to guy for my boilers and I will recommend him to all friends and family. Conclusion 10/10 - a real genuine passionate guy who loves his work and it is evident he has a lot of experience in the field. Even my boiler which is around 20yrs old he knew about, a perfectionist when it comes down to his work, committed and he just got straight on with the work. Like I mentioned, we couldn’t physically find the part initially but in the same day he commuted across town to locate a part and then come back to fit it. Who else would do this?? He dedicated his time and day purely to the satisfaction of the customer (us). With everything I’ve said, ultimatly he is the reason for my review. ABC Plumbing have carried out various jobs for me in the last 8 years, they repaired a 25 year old boiler for me several times before it finally passed out and then replaced it with an efficient new one, done my gas safety certificate, replaced radiator valves, and carried out other boiler and heating related jobs. A truly honest plummer. When I told him my problem he told me that I didn't need a plummer and I could fix it myself and showed me how. It was fixed in 30 seconds. Will be using this Plummer when I have a genuine problem.

I'm impressed with their knowledge and their ability to use other communication channels in trouble-shooting the issue (ie. sending photos via Whatsapp) from your own home. They fixed the problem, provided great customer service and useful warranty advice on the boiler. I highly recommend these guys and happy to use them again for the annual boiler service. Great Job!

Absolute great company, I am a Landlord with multiple properties, ABC has come to the rescue of my tenants a number of times! They have been a honest and reasonably priced gas and plumbing company, with a prompt, friendly and efficient service. The only company to come back with a detailed written quote (rather than an estimate). Reasonably priced. Made a point of showing his Gas Safe card (including the back - which confirms exactly what a plumber is qualified to do). Thorough in his work (e.g. product registrations all completed, did a decent job of tidying up afterward). Hard to find fault and I'll certainly be using him for all future plumbing work. Update: recently called in Al to deal with a problem that another plumber and a boiler engineer had both failed to diagnose. Between us we worked it out (i.e. he was willing to listen to and test hypotheses rather than just speculating) and he had it fixed in no time.

Called ABC for leaking gas problem. Al came within 30 minutes. He is the most professional, knowledgeable person and did a thorough investigation before finding and repairing the leak. He had all the necessary equipment for detecting gas. He was very friendly and helpful and was fair with the amount he charged. He really saved me from not having gas for cooking, heating and washing!!

We've used ABC a couple of times. The first time was to plumb in our cooker - and then Al very kindly helped us out with some other bits (removing an ugly gas fire etc) once he was here. Second time round he managed to fit us in at very short notice in order to fix our heating (during a cold snap). Really pleased with the service - reasonable rates, pleasant to deal with, and happy to advise on how we could do some simple stuff for ourselves, rather than calling out the pros (which was very nice of him). Can recommend, would definitely use again.

ABC Installed a new boiler in my 3 bedroom House. I will start out by saying I was very happy with the work ABC completed. They worked very hard to get my heating up and running over the recent cold snap as I had a baby in the house. The work was all very professionally completed, he undertook all the required, test, liaison with Transco to update the gas meter, sourcing the parts at very competitive prices, and cleaning up after himself. I found him to very clean and the quality of his work was very high, the pipe work was all very neat and tidy and he took time to ensure I understood the operation of my new system. Main thing was he did not take the easiest option and always took my wishes into account, even when it meant more work for himself. So I am very happy with my new heating system and the service provided by ABC plumbing and would definitely recommend them. Work completed, removal of old tank system, installation of new gas line, new Combi boiler, and changing of all radiators in the house. Very nice company to work with
