We have been with LW Gas for around 6 years now and they have always provided a very polite and reliable service. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Currently we are thinking about extending our relationship with them by looking into Air Conditioning as well as the existing Gas Boiler Servicing and Maintenance, so they must be doing something right !
We used LW Gas to install two air con units in our new build, and the service was 10/10. Lewis and Tom were both professional and efficient. They were particularly courteous, keeping noise down while I was in a meeting. I would definitely recommend LW Gas for your air con needs!

I have used Lee & LW Gas for around 12 years now after waking up to how much British Gas were constantly giving less for more money. LW are both a smart outfit & immensely competent, on the rare occasion I have had an issue they have prioritised a break down & have also provided servicing year on year to a high standard. The fitters are tidy, polite, skilled & able to take payment in person by card etc. Just always as simple as it should be. Highly recommend people look at what they pay BG year on year as I stopped paying the yearly cover & 10yrs out of 12 I have saved that payment other than the service cost approx 40% of service cover. P.S. I forgot to add that the ladies in the LW Gas office are extremely helpful, very friendly & competent too.
Genuinely. The customer service for this company is sublime. I’ve had issues with some of my heating and they will reply instantly and come out as soon as they can. I have even contacted one of the engineers and they were on holiday, still got me booked in and back up and running.

We have been using L W Gas for years.. When we moved house 5 years ago they didn't push us into a new Boiler but did say it would need replacing. We have just had our new boiler fitted and a shiny new yellow radiator. The two engineers who fitted were lovely, polite and took time to introduce me to the new boiler and how to use the app. I would use them every time.

Ken, the heating engineer from LW Gas has to be one of the most professional, thorough and knowledgeable engineers I've experienced as a domestic customer. He gave a thorough assessment of the boiler, explained the remedial steps needed and offered an estimate for the works. All works completed to good standard. Also had a Hive thermostat fitted, which Ken explained in detail. Again, great experience and I highly recommend his professionalism.
LG Gas recently fixed a water leak in our boiler. I called in after hours, and they were out first thing next morning. Great customer service. They've been maintaining our boiler since they installed it the day Portsmouth won the FA cup, which obviously a long time, and that's done the trick. Couldn't recommend LW Gas highly enough.
Reliable and Good Value for Money Have used LW Gas for the last 20 years they installed our original boiler and serviced it each year. Our boiler eventually last month decided it needed new parts. However after discussing with Lee we decided to go for a new boiler. This time Lewis and Tom came to replace it. Punctual, efficient, polite, ensured they left the area as clean and tidy as they found it. Will continue to use L W Gas for the next 20 year!!
A fantastic service, from start to finish. I had a boiler moved from the loft to the airing cupboard and this was completed in 1 day, with a professional, friendly, communicative and tidy service. To finally have a reliable gas engineering company I can call on is a huge weight off my mind, as I have tried many local services and all have left me stressed, worried, and sometimes worse off than before they arrived. Very pleased with LW Gas. We had multiple problems with our Oil fired Central heating system, and LW fixed them all, coming out at short notice and even juggling appointments and engineers where they could to fit us in more quickly. Engineers were always on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. Can't fault them would definitiely use them again.
I can't praise these installers enough. Lee came out to quote for a boiler replacement at 10am on Monday, received very competitive quote 3 hours later; Lewis and his 2 colleagues arrived on time at 11am on Friday and finished and left the new boiler working at 3pm. Every one was very professional, polite and careful. We then had a slight problem on Saturday evening and Lewis came out immediately at 8pm and sorted it. Absolutely brilliant customer service ethos throughout the whole family run company and they provide a very competitive service. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!

I’ve been using LW Gas for my elderly mother for a number of years, including two boiler installs along with regular servicing. On Boxing Day, my mother had no heating or hot water. I called LW Gas in the early evening and left a message, not really expecting a quick response. However, I was called back within 5 minutes by Lewis. I explained the problem and he promised to be there first thing in the morning. He was there by 0830, diagnosed that the programmer was shot, popped up the road to purchase a replacement and by 0930 my mother had a working system again. You can’t complain about that level of service! I would therefore wholeheartedly recommend LW Gas without hesitation.
LW Gas removed our entire old heating system, including the water tank, and installed a new boiler — all completed in just one day! They arrived early in the morning and finished on time, which was very important for me as I had to leave for the school run. They suggested a really good boiler option, well suited to the house, and the price and finance options were very reasonable. Can’t praise L W Gas enough, my elderly mums boiler was leaking water, being 5.30 in the evening we thought we had a huge problem but within an hour of calling the engineer arrived on site and temporarily sorted the problem so she had heat and then returned the next day to replace the faulty part. Lewis was so courteous and polite to Mum and we can’t thank him enough.

Genuinely could not have received better service if we’d have asked for it. We called LW Gas Ltd as our boiler had shut down, within 30 minutes Lewis came to our house, took the boiler apart, suggested what it likely was and showed us what he was doing, he continued to work on our boiler and managed to fire it back up, enabling us to have heating and hot water in our time of need. Their engineers have worked with the business for a number of years and are very personable. The communication is second to none, they are in touch right up to the day to let you know if there's going to be any issues with the engineer's timings. The engineer turned up on time, promptly completing the service. Took the payment on the handheld machine, then off to his next job. Would thoroughly recommend for a service or installation work.
This month Ken carried out our usual annual boiler service as well as the installation of the new Hive smart thermostat. Everything was completed in time and to a very high standard of quality. Ken also took the time to explain in detail all the functions of the thermostat. I am always pleased with their work and the competitive prices. Truly admirable work ethic and reliability!

I had a crisis - a gas leak! Phoned for help early morning and had a call back within minutes, before they even opened, giving me the emergency gas network number. SGN came round quickly and disconnected the gas, and LW arrived later to review and confirm that yes my pipework was old and needing replacing. They quoted for the work and managed to fit me in the following week, as I had no gas and no hot water throughout. Super team, friendly and really helpful. Would definitely recommend :-)

Had a new Worcester Bosch boiler installed. Lee quoted promptly after visiting, and was polite and informative while visiting. The installation team were great, both making sure not to leave a mess (impressive when fitting a boiler) and keeping me informed of the whole process ahead of time and as we went through it. Work was completed in good time and so far boiler is working excellently! LW Gas also registered the guarantee for me which is a great after-work touch. Would certainly recommend.
Had a leak from an old solder joint so I called LW gas as I have used them for over 20 years. Once again they were quick to react, performing a brilliant repair the next day , Ken completed a repair in a very awkward place in a kitchen cupboard. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

A massive shout-out to LW Gas, who have been consistently wonderful over the last few years we’ve used them! They originally fitted a Worcester boiler and two radiators for us back in 2022 and were incredibly polite, efficient, and professional. They were by far the most reasonably priced, with no hidden fees—just honest, reliable service. Truly the most dependable trade company I’ve ever dealt with. We’ve trusted them every year since for our boiler servicing and wouldn’t consider going elsewhere. Today, they were absolute heroes. We rang in a bit of a panic, and the lovely Christine was so helpful. She listened carefully and called me back within moments with a solution. Christine, you’re a star—so kind, efficient, and calm under pressure. You really saved the day! The MVP of the day was Brad, who arrived just a couple of hours later—even though we’re based in Andover and LW Gas are over Southampton way. Brad not only sorted the issue (a leak), but also went ahead and did our boiler service while he was here. Despite the baking heat, Brad was professional, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable. He worked quickly, explained everything clearly, and got us sorted without fuss—and at a very reasonable cost, which was a pleasant surprise. Brad is a real credit to LW Gas. Our boiler was due for its annual service which had been booked. Shortly before however, the boiler started cutting out after a few minutes, the house became cold and we had to switch to the immersion heater for hot water. The service date was brought forward. They turned up on time, investigated the problem thoroughly, serviced the boiler, made some adjustments to the bypass valve and replaced a zone valve motor for good measure. They had it all running again within 2 hours and advised against expensive procedures for now (e.g. power flushing, cutting out clogged pipework). All fine since and very happy! Highly recommended.
This Company is amazing.I contacted them late yesterday because I had an horrendous water leak that I thought was to do with my heating system but in fact was a plumbing issue. Lewis came out and was so helpful and tried to alleviate further damage by putting holes in the ceiling to ensure it did not collapse on me. Quite simply, excellent! Unfortunately I needed a new boiler and fast. LW Gas were quick to answer my request, same day appointment to check if it was needed, then provided me with a realistic quote. The following day they installed it…..bosh! The lads arrived bang on time, cracked on with the work, calmly, politely and frankly, just normal people - rare nowadays! AND, they even tidied up after themselves, cooorrre!!! Genuinely, it’s been a pleasant experience from start to finish and I would highly recommend. Thanks :)

Installation of the new boiler and removal of the tank went smoothly; the team arrived on time making a quick start on the job itself. Edit: yes I was rude on the phone, who wouldn't be after getting blamed for my hot water and heating not working! It was working fine before your plumber turned up. And when I call to enquire I get abuse over the phone and get hung up on! You don't talk to paying customers like that! If you don't enjoy your job don't do it. Absolutely disgusting service

Fitted a replacement Worcester combination boiler for us 23/9/24. Several variations of quotation were given covering various options discussed. The work was carried out very professionally, and the old messy boiler pipe work was replaced with well laid out new pipe work. Very happy with the end result, and done for a competitive price. Would recommend without hesitation.

Great experience with LW Gas. They fitted our boiler over five years ago after our old one gave up the ghost. They were really helpful explaining the different options. Since then they've continued to service it every year and we've had no problems. Everyone we've met has been incredibly polite and professional. This was an annual LPG boiler service. During which Matthew found a broken gasket which was replaced. LW Gas installed my boiler and have serviced it annually since. They are reliable and pleasant. They must be doing a good job because I never have any problems with the boiler during the year. I was pleased that they replaced the burner gasket and had the spare with them. The broken gasket was shown to me and the price for replacement was specified before this work proceeded. I'm very happy with the service and have no intention of using anyone else.

Called Lee on Friday late afternoon with a problem with my boiler, he had finished work and was enjoying some down time with friends however he made sure that I had someone with me by 8am the next day even though it was Saturday. Excellent customer service. The engineer arrived and resolved the issue straight away.
Our combi boiler was playing up and so I contacted LW because of their good rating on the Hampshire Trading Standards site. I was not disappointed. Called on a Friday and the engineer came on the Monday. Quickly diagnosed the problem and arranged for a quote. Quote agreed on Tuesday and the fix and a service were carried out on Friday. Engineer was very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Or central heating programmer broke in Feb 2023 in a cold spell. LW gas were recommended to us. They answered the phone and arrived at our house all before 9am. They explained the problem and sorted a temporary solution. Their quote for replacement was competitive. We got them in in April to replace and update it all. Took them the morning, they were tidy, courteous, and stuck to the quote. Very happy with results. Would recommend.

If you are looking for anything gas related use this company. They gave good advice when other companies were floundering. They were prompt at every stage of our heating installation. I have used LW Gas for a few years now. Originally to install the boiler and then to maintain it. Recently they fixed a radiator issue from a bathroom install someone else did. I've always found their engineers to be polite and courteous, and they turn up when they say they'll turn up

I can highly recommend LW Gas. The service is friendly and very professional. After being let down by Heatwave I contacted LW Gas to see if they could diagnose and repair my boiler, Luke arrived and knew what the issue was with my Ideal boiler straight away. LW Gas saved the day yesterday. Lee was amazing. Despite having finished work for the day and about to settle down to watch England in the World Cup quarter finals, he came to our rescue. Our boiler had stopped working and with minus temperatures outside, two young kids and family coming for dinner, it was the last thing we needed. Lee knew exactly what was up and gave us clear instructions on how to fix the issue. Thanks to him, the boiler was soon working again and we didn’t freeze. So charming and professional. Job : Decommission old boiler (Potterton system boiler), supply, reposition and install Worcester Bosch Greenstar 8000 Style 40kwh combi boiler, remove old cylinder and attic tanks, reroute the shower feeds in the attic so as to allow attic flooring plus replace 2 radiator thermostats that no longer functioned. The team were very professional and the operation was slick, each of the 4 team members did their job very well. By the end of day one the install was completed and the following day the jet wash procedure began. At the end of the day we have a new boiler delivering hot radiators all round the house (which we didn't have before), high pressure water flow hot and cold (which we didn't have before), upstairs showers that are now like power showers instead of the old, limp feed we had before and a bolier which is more conveniently positioned. The LW Gas team did a pretty good job of tidying up afterwards, there was little for me to do except fill in some celing gaps where the old piping had been and replace a few wall tiles where the old boiler had been. Very pleased with the result and service, not cheap of course but close to other like for like quotes.

We were in need of a new boiler and used LW Gas. Great service and very efficient with a great team of installers. They removed the old boiler from the kitchen and installed then new one in the utility room as well as this they moved and installed a couple of new radiators for us. Would defiantly recommend.
It was pretty obvious that our 20 plus year old gas boiler was in need of replacement. That was the easy part. The hard part was finding someone to do it. We tried British Gas and that was a disaster from start to finish. They failed to keep two appointments and when the engineer finally attended on the third visit he spent an hour drinking coffee and telling us the job was too complicated to do and that the person who signed us up for it didn't know what he was doing. Another engineer, strongly recommended by a friend, attended once and left us in the lurch. One said that he would do the job but only by ripping up our carpets to run the essential wiring. Finally, I was talking to a friend who recommended LW Gas Ltd as they had installed his new boiler. It was in the middle of the Covid pandemic so installation was delayed but eventually it was achieved. Radio controlled systems were used so that our carpets could rest in peace. As compensation for the delayed installation two free services were offered. We have already had one and there was no quibbling about it so that will be the best part of £200 saved after next year's service. Apart from the delayed installation, for which I blame Covid not LW Gas, everything was perfect. Yes, it was a complex installation which is why I had to have the best man on the job but we haven't had a moment's trouble since it was done. Our gas bill for a whole year was about 65% of the previous year's. If you can get them, book LW Gas with absolute confidence.
LW Gas have a fabulous friendly team who are super efficient, highly professional, and exceed expectations every time. They genuinely value their customers, going out of their way to be helpful. Couldn't be bothered to return my telephone call. On my second call to make contact I committed a grave sin mistakingly asking for 'Les' to be rudely told there was no one of that name. On my third attempt thinking that I had the number wrong my call was answered by the same individual. He now said that he was 'Lee' which he could and should have done on my previous call. I explained that I had a 'Swan nest' fire with a tray, but that the igniter mechanism had failed and that I was looking for an expert fitter to supply and fit a replacement. I was told that as the fire was now obsolete a new unit could not be fitted on the existing tray. I asked why, in the alternative, a new tray and unit couldn't be fitted and the reply was clear he wasn't vaguely interested! Steer well clear, don't waste time and seek a fitter professional in attitude!
I had three boilers serviced with this company, one installed by them the year before. For one boiler they claimed it was illegal, despite having a a CORGI certificate of compliance that it met building regulations when installed. The service did not fix the failure message that was intermittently coming up. When asked to return to solve the problem, the response was that the boiler was condemned, but we'd be happy to come and quote for installation of a new one. I insisted that they come and have another look, even though 12 years old, the boiler was serviced annually and generally in very good order. They came back, said they had to replace a door gasket (£80! just for a piece of rubber, let alone the second call out fee) and "that should fix it". It didn't. I had another company come out and problem fixed, a faulty sensor at £30 (plus call out)! Boiler two - after the service the ignition system seemed to be finding it much harder to fire up, thought it might have just been the change in settings. A few weeks later a different problem arose, called a different company who diagnosed the problem over the phone, came out in an hour (despite COVID) and confirmed the problem. In the process they asked when the boiler had last been looked at?! Continuing to say that the igniter was not cleaned and that was why the boiler was struggling to start. The new guy, sorted out the other problem the day after, even with the difficulties in getting parts during the crisis. Boiler three - just 14 months old and installed and serviced by LW Gas, has just now failed as well. This has been the straw that broke the camel's back. In a nutshell, I found LW Gas to be scaremongering, outrageously priced, and simply out to get more business. I cannot overstate how disappointed I am with their service and attitude.
They did a really fantastic job. Really efficient, identified a potentially very serious problem, and stayed late to complete the job in one day so that we were not left without hot water. I would highly recommend.
An appointment was made with Lee ward Of L W gas ltd, who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. We needed a new central heating boiler, a new toilet system , New bathroom radiator and another radiator that needed rehanging and fixing. Lee helped us with exactly what type of new boiler we should have, and left us with a brochure of the boiler that we chose. We received a full quotation from Lee the next day, (which was exactly the price we paid.)Everything was explained perfectly. We booked the appointment and was given the time and day that the work would be completed on. We had two fantastic professional gas fitters that worked together, this was brilliant as instead of taking two days to complete the work, it was done in just one day. Steve and Mike turned up exactly the time they said they would, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced such fantastic workers, in their work skills, professionalism, cleanliness and consideration. They never stopped. The standard of their workmanship was superb. I am absolutely delighted with everything that this company has done .They even registered my new boiler for me. When I contacted the office to pay, I spoke to a very friendly and helpful lady called Philomina. I even had a follow up call a few days later asking if there was any more questions. They also gave me some more very helpful advice. I would highly recommends this fast efficient company with first class workers. I have never been so impressed with a company before. They were very competitive on price, but achieved what everyone wants, a hassle free 1st class quality service. Thank you
We had our old boiler replaced by LW Gas in 2012 and they have serviced it ever since. Always very pleased with their work and would highly recommend them. Professional, Polite and extremely helpful. Shortly moving and will definitely continue with their services.
LW Gas took out our old boiler which had packed up, fitted a new one in a new location, with new pipework, a new flue, and added some additional radiators into the system. They came at the agreed day and time, and finished within the agreed time. They were professional, friendly and helpful, and good value.
Very good, came out to look at my failed boiler. Engineer tried everything even got an extra part to try and get it on, and only charged the call out fee. Even phoned to say he would be late. Very good and they may even be inbstalling a new boiler for me.
Although installation not happened yet. These guys are really professional. They have done other work for me and turned up when they said they would and cleared up after. When they did quotation they were thorough and considerate and efficient. They are also competitive. Will post again after next week.
