READ! Initially when he came around he said he was a man of God. I thought he is very religious and straight forward sounded trustworthy. Firstly I got quoted £170 labour for some fixes for a new kitchen sink mainly then £70 (labour only)on top for a new outdoor tap. Firstly he arrived and said to me to go and get materials in my brand new car, which is unheard of especially all week I asked Audley for a list no communication . Never heard of this created massive confusion for me in the morning along with his carpenter friend they went to wickes in the end to get materials i’m not a plumber so what do I know the difference in pipe sizes. When drilling for a outdoor tap he put the tap anywhere didn’t ask and it was the wrong tap as I wanted it flush against the wall he put a bend in there, and the tap was right next to my window who does that? They blew my brick quote (£150) as drilling from the inside out which you shouldn’t do. Even my electrician at the time said to me quietly who was doing work for me same time said they shouldn’t be doing that. No taping for piping for outdoor tap, no isolation fitted. He has said he will come and sort the outside tap out for me still hasn’t, workmanship is poor and rushed. After getting other plumbers advices all said the taps been installed wrongly. Since then I had to get a bricky to repair the brick. His carpenter boxed in a pipe which was done fine for £70 labour. I paid about £84 in materials that day. £404 all together calling him back. He was trying to make me take on other jobs without sorting the outside tap out first which is bizarre ! quick to message back when wanting work. Not when fixing peoples problems. Do not use him. He did offer to Sort the work but not worth the headache. His carpenter/ relative is rude! cowboys! Horrible site Attached pic of how he put the tap right next to my window with a bend 0 insulation tape on pipe to protect my bricks. Never asked me at the time where I wanted it. Rushed to get the job done. Also 0 compensation money back. Hope you all think before using him. Multiple plumbers had opinion on said it was bad practices. Not always the case of going cheap. As I don’t think it was. This was over a year ago never got round to do the review. He did offer to rectify but I didn’t want him near it costing me again to rectify his work. No apology. Had this plumber’s card for a while and decided to reach out to get some work done. Best thing I ever did. The attention to detail and honesty is second to none. Refitted my radiators, fixed a leak, and installed a brand new vanity. I have since told others about his work and know I will be using him again and again. Top Job Audley!
