I genuinely cant express how happy my wife and I are at the quality of the Kardeen floor Solent have fitted for us. It was a large financial commitment around some intricate areas of the house, but the quality and professionalism delivered by the team are first class.
We had a mixture of laminate and carpet downstairs, on the stairs themselves and on the landing, fitted by Solent Flooring. From start to finish, Jason and his team were nothing short of excellent. Jason started by making sure everything worked within our budget. Then against the backdrop of the highest June temperatures the UK has ever seen, the guys worked away to ensure everything was completed on time. Highly efficient from start to finish, highly recommended!

Purchased a quick step laminate floor from this company and I am delighted with it. The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. Solent Flooring recently laminated and put new carpet down in our new house. We were really keen to get the work done before we moved our furniture in and Solent Flooring were very helpful and flexible with us - we managed to time it so it was completed only four days after we got the keys! We are super happy, and would use again.

Excellent, sales service workmanship we are so pleased 😀. Jason came out to see us measured up and then opened the showroom on Bank Holiday Monday so we could chose our flooring, above and beyond! Chose Project Flooring to complete the kitchen lounge project, suspended flooring was screeded by the Solent flooring team well in advance... absolutely perfect, tidy professional guys... Jason called one day VERY apologetic as the product was being delayed by customs as made in Germany 😕.... Not his fault, he even asked of we wanted to come to showroom and maybe choose a different product! We stayed with Project Flooring range, Another fitting date made and all well, arrived on time, neat, clean, tidy, polite, professional lads, fabulous tradesman to be blunt. All complete on time and furniture back in, only problem.....its almost too good a job to walk on!! Perfect...see you again soon Solent Flooring 👍

Don’t usually use tradesman unless we get recommendation or know them personally but took a risk and contacted these guys and they’ve been brilliant - used them for two jobs now. Have used this company before to lay laminate flooring on the bottom floor of my home. I decided to go with them again for rest of my house as they did a fantastic job before. Once again they did a fantastic job and went the extra mile on a few things. This shows the attention to detail they go with the work and completed it within the suggested timeframe. I can't recommend them enough and will pass on their details to anyone that needs their flooring done whether that's laminate, vinyl or carpet.
Not overally impressed, had a quote for the whole house and agreed to do one room and office before proceeding further. Once finished upon leaving i noticed the office carpet was not stuck down. You could pull the whole thing up with one hand! My partner phoned up the office for them to say i was not clear enough that it was going to be an office and they do not stick down or fit the carpets in cupboards they just lay. Myself and my mum as a witness was very clear from the start that the room was an office both of us communicated this with them. At first they did not offer to fix the problem. Later on we got a call back saying someone could fix the issue next week and they did come back to fix down the carpet which was appeciated. However, recently a few people have noticed what is like trash under our carpet. When you walk on parts its either a label or a packet crunching sounds. I would have thought for the cost before fitting the new carpet the team would have cleared the floor however with some guidance from others it looks like they left trash under the carpet which we now cannot remove without removing the whole thing. We are all for shopping locally however on this occasion its backfired on us. We have now decided to shop elsewhere for the rest of the carpets.

Thankyou Solent Flooring. The two fitters that came today (28th October 2023), were friendly and respectful, nothing was to much for them to do. After fitting the carpet they were very kind to offer to put my two bedroom draws back for me. This was a big help and they both left the room and stairs all clean an tidy. I will be using you again in the new year.
Solent flooring put down a new floor in our house after a major renovation. It was a complex job as floors between rooms were uneven and needed a lot of work. Jason was very patient with us, as the floor had gotten sodden whilst the roof was off and would not proceed until everything was dry. It was a long wait, but the finished floor is fantastic, extremely professional finish (thanks Paul!) and I would highly recommend you speak to them if you need new flooring as they will supply you with a high end finished floor for a competitive price.

We're really happy with the carpets, they were fitted quickly and the guys fitting were really friendly and professional. Contacted Solent Flooring as they were recommended to me by a friend. Jason and showroom team were helpful, giving guidance to help me select suitable flooring for the rooms that came within our budget. Measurements taken quickly by Jason, again great advice given. The floors were in a dreadful condition and needed a lot of preparation. The schedule for this was discussed and agreed in order to fit in with our deadlines. Having Paul, Jason, Jason and colleagues in our home was a delight. They took every bit of rubbish away. They moved some of the preparation jobs around in order to accommodate other trades that kept messing us around. The finished Project flooring looks amazing, they did the most fantastic job. We will be using them again.
The team at Solent Flooring have been brilliant, they genuinely care about delivering their best for the customer. During our renovation they have achieved this with as little disruption as possible, when put to the test on a large domestic project they have not disappointed. Jason was attentive throughout and his team are equally as polite, skilled and diligent a genuine pleasure to have in our home. Good, honest contractors are hard to find and I have no hesitation in recommending their services.
