Rough finish, when I asked for help or if he could put right he blocked my number and ignored me. Had to get a second guy in to sort. Nice enough guy in person, didn’t want to know afterwards. Check your edges. Pipe covers and extra beading not enough as the gaps were that big.

Derek came on site and did a fantastic job at laying underlay, laminate and beading within a hall and cupboard to a great standard. There were difficult angles with a lot of corners due to the layout of the room, despite this Derek did an amazing job and the room looks great

Derek done a brilliant job of fitting our laminate at our new flat. He removed and refitted the skirtings for us as we didn’t want any beading, and seamlessly continued the laminate through into the hall. Overall negative experience with several key issues. We hired Derek to fit LVT flooring throughout the flat, including the kitchen. Not only did he attempt to argue about the scope of work, but he also claimed to have completed the job and insisted on receiving the payment via wire transfer before leaving. However, the kitchen floor was unfinished, and one of the doors wouldn’t close because it wasn’t sanded properly. When asked to return and fix these issues, he said he was going on holiday and couldn’t come back. The main problem now is the floor level. None of the subfloor imperfections, such as bumps or dips, were addressed, resulting in a non-uniform floor with visible bumps. Additionally, he didn’t clean up the floor cuts, leaving us to pay £90 for someone else to clean up. This was far from what we expected.

Very friendly fellow who provided great information and guidance on what products would work best for the job and then fitted them to specifications in a room that had a step also. Derek uplifted the old engineered wood flooring in our tenement flat, and put down new engineered wood flooring in the living room, hall, and 2 bedrooms. He arrived promptly every morning, and worked incredibly quickly, we were very impressed. He did a great job - the floors are beautifully done and we just love them! He is very friendly and professional, and we felt comfortable having him work while I was home with the baby. We also felt the price was very fair, and would definitely recommend him !

Derek has just finished removing floor tiles and installing new solid wood flooring in our kitchen and hall and utility room and we are very happy with the result. Derek was very responsive throughout the process from providing initial quote to confirming dates and answering questions along the way. He turned up promptly every morning and cleaned up as he went and has done a quality job and completed on time and at agreed price. There were some extra things which needed done during the installation- removing and plaining down doors, removal and reinstall of breakfast bar etc and none of this was a problem. Would highly recommend for any equivalent flooring jobs.

Great service. Replied to initial enquiry quickly, showed up on time and did a great job.
We had Derek in over two days to replace the carpet in our bedroom with laminate flooring, and to take up and replace the existing laminate downstairs in our living and dining rooms. He was quick to respond initially to give us a quote and arrange a date to do the work, and was always available to answer any additional questions we had, giving us guidance on what type of materials would be best as we were providing our own flooring. On the day, Derek arrived on time and even helped me with taking up the last of the carpet as I was running slightly behind. His work was quick as well as being neat and tidy, and had the bedroom completed in under two hours, including fitting the beading. On the second day, he again arrived on time and quickly set about taking up the old flooring. He helped with moving around the furniture in the rooms downstairs due to the lack of space in the house, and made the whole process incredibly easy. The living room, dining room and a small porch were completed by lunch time. We were incredibly happy with the high standard of Derek's work; we had some old, uneven skirting boards but Derek too the time to make sure any gaps between the skirting and the beading were filled, leaving it with a very professional finish. We have a spare bedroom that will needed flooring in the future and we wouldn't hesitate to use Derek again.

We had Derek out today to fit 40sq meters of plus size laminate flooring, hall, living room and kitchen (straight through), in which he did a phenomenal job. We couldn’t be happier.
