We're were looking for a new vinyl for the bathroom. Checked out another local flooring shop, but we've used Shaws before, so had a quick look. They had the only flooring that we could agree on and they allowed us to take the sample book home to make sure it was the right one. Had to wait a couple of weeks for it to be laid, which was perfect for us as the bathroom had just been refitted. Bob did an absolutely perfect job. Very quick, very clean and it looks even better than we thought it would. You always get good quality flooring and excellent customer services. Will always gravitate back to them for flooring needs

We went out to look for vinyl flooring and didn’t go past Shaws Floors. The service was great and knowledgeable and they went beyond to help us choose what we wanted from their extensive stock. We also felt it better to support local business than a big corporation. The fitting was totally painless, Bob arrived when we were told and he was efficient friendly and did a great job, in spite being ‘helped’ by our German Shepherd. We will go there again. All together a good buying experience.

Great value and well fitted carpet. A little surprised that they didn’t run a hoover over it once they had finished. Most tradesmen I deal with will tidy up before they leave, particularly as they hadn’t layed dust sheets in the hall & stairs.

Shaw's Floors is definitely the best place to go! Wide range of carpets, very helpful advice and great service. We had our staircase fitted today by Bob who did an excellent job with the runner involving a tricky turn halfway and in a striped pattern!!

We purchased our new carpet from Richard using my own measurements. We booked a fitting date in. He insisted on checking my measurements in the following couple of days which was reassuring. The fitter turned up on time and did a beautiful job. We are very happy with the quality of the carpet, the installation and all the help and advice in the shop deciding colour etc.

We’ve just had our entire house re floored. We have had the upstairs carpeted and the downstairs is all laminate. Shaws floors have been brilliant throughout. Bob (the laminate fitter) was especially brilliant and went above and beyond to make it all look amazing and is a credit to the company. It’s taken a new house that was unloved to a home for the family and we couldn’t be happier. The pricing is fair and much cheaper than other companies in the area but with no detriment to the quality. If I ever need more flooring in the future I know where to go!

Rich is a strange person, turned up late, took the measurements for quite a decent sized job, talked a lot of nonsense about how great they are and Carpet Barn are rubbish and overpriced. I never heard anything for a few weeks so chased him a couple of times, lots of excuses and said he would get back to me with prices but I never heard from him again. Odd way to run a business.

Having recently moved to our new house we urgently needed carpet on our stairs, popped to Shaw’s Floors who were fantastic and even managed to fit the carpet a few days before Christmas which we were so grateful for. We then had a quote and order for two more rooms which were completed today. So impressed with the quality of work and how friendly and polite everyone we dealt with has been. We will definitely be using Shaw’s Floors for the rest of the house.

Don’t go anywhere else! after trawling round several carpet companies not finding anything I liked, I was recommended to Shaws Floors, where there is a huge selection of carpets to choose from. From my initial contact with Rich and Charlie, to the day of fitting with Bob and Sam, the service I have received was exceptional. I would highly recommend Shaws Floors as I was on a budget and they are very reasonably priced. Also, within half an hour of the fitters leaving the carpenter came to shave off the doors, absolutely brilliant service once again.

Couldn’t have asked for better service! Picked a vinyl off the roll to be told they had no availability to fit until another 3 weeks time. We then politely asked again if they could do this week as we needed it urgently, which they then moved some work around in their diary which we were really grateful for. Wide range of all types of flooring, roll ends, etc. Knowledgeable but condescending salesman, who insisted on calling me hunny bunny, which really grated, but he was helpful, even though he didn't make a sale!

Another great job completed by Shaws Floors in Eastleigh. They have supplied and fitted our flooring for a number of years now in various properties always to a very high standard. I would not use anyone else now as the service and the prices are excellent. You just don’t get the same service from any other companies.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish from Shaws Floors. Popped in on the Sunday to see what carpets they had for my sons bedroom as it was being decorated the following week. I know we left it late but the man that served us was extremely helpful and accommodating. We managed to buy a very good quality carpet at a very competitive price and they managed to fit us in so it was fitted the day after our sons room had been decorated, even though it was short notice. Went in for an off cut of carpet for the garage, they were very helpful and even cut it to size for me. Well priced.

Good selection and not overpriced. Fitting is of dubious quality though with job left unfinished (mistake happily rectified with revisit once informed) but product not fitted according to manufacturer's guidelines. Owner can be a touch abrasive as others have suggested.

Wasted a week of our time on something that wasn't our fault. Very rude customer service as well.

I wish there was a zero star to rate this because of very bad experience as the owner named Richard was really rude to us , they wasted our 2 weeks of time. Having said this, actually when we visited the showroom one staff was really helpful and they did all the measurements but later on when we spoke to the owner he said they dont have the measurement, probably they lost it but instead of apologising ,he was really rude.Like when we asked,' Is this how you behave with you customer?' He replied 'YES". Thats how rude he was. He will definitely lose his customers with this kind of behaviour. Poor service.

We have used Shaws on a number of occasions and have found them great. However our recent experience was the complete opposite. We visited their showroom and the guys were really helpful. They visited us to measure up and the quote was twice the amount they had said!! We then spoke to the owner and expressed our concerns only to be told “it’s my business and I’ll charge what I want” even though it was double the quote we received in the showroom. Unfortunately they have now lost our business and we will not hesitate to share this experience with friends and family. A real shame as they have been great until we spoke to the boss!!

Awful customer service from Shaw's floors. I called them about our hallway carpet bring loose in March this year and only today has a fitter arrived to try and fix it. I have called them every month since March and each time told that somebody will call me soon if the company is in my area! We live 25 mins from the showroom! Today the fitter arrived at 1030 for a 0930 appointment. I called the showroom to be told by Paul 'the manager' that the guy who does the rota got it wrong and everyone makes mistakes! I would never recommend this company to anyone. Zero stars for zero customer service.

Our experience with this company was horrendous. The only thing they did to satisfaction was to take the money! The fitter arrived 4 hours late. Smashed a heavy sheet of marble that was not in his way. Vinyl was left uneven, torn and glue left on surface. A phone call was promised the next day which never arrived....

Excellent service from selection through to quotation and fitting. We selected a LVT product to be fitted in our kitchen, hallway and bathroom. The fitter turned up on time and worked for 2 days providing a neat and professional job. All rubbish was taken away and any mess was cleaned ...we were especially pleased as Carpet Barn had said the job was too difficult and were unable to quote for the kitchen and bathroom only the hallway.. I would definitely recommend Shaws floors for excellent service at a very reasonable price.

Fantastic guys, fantastic quality. Ive used them for wood flooring downstairs, carpet upstairs and in the next few days I will be ordering flooring for the bathrooms! Recommend to all.

Richard gave us excellent service in supplying and fitting a new bedroom carpet. He was so helpful to find exactly what we were looking which involved a phone call to get the carpet delivered within 24 hours and fitted within 48 hours. The price was over £100 cheaper than Carpet Barn. The men who came to fit were also polite and did a fantastic. We would definitely recommend anyone to use them.
