Amazing service from Sherri at the hedge end branch, super helpful and very informative, highly recommend.

Bought a laminate floor couple of weeks ago, 18 out of 18 boxes of product are faulty. The click system is partially missing due to bad manufacturing and also planks are bowed due to humidity exposure. A replacement floor is not available at the moment and the company is not willing to give any damage compensation for all the money that I will need to waste due to their low quality product. Even though all the boxes have 90% of faulty planks they won't refund me 100% of what I paid as the fitter used few planks before realizing that the whole batch is unusable. Also even though the purchase has been in the store itself won't deal with the problem and it's you dealing with the customer service trough a chat. No other solution than let my solicitor deal with the problem.

Overpriced and just annoying. First time delivered damaged glue bucket(£100 per cause they only make 15kg buckets), when they replaced it FOC there is no glue spatula inside! Even sticker on the lid says “I’m inside”! If you want to charge premium for absolutely everything that’s fine, but supply premium products and service!!! Such a waste of time and money.

Very helpful, advised us of all the different types of flooring and helped us choose suitable real wooden flooring for our dining room ,hallway and lounge. To be fitted later this year. Very happy with service so far.

Although, due to my selection at the beginning of my flooring journey the excellent Sherri of the Hedge End DWF Hampshire store was unable to offer me the exact colour/shade laminate required she went above and beyond to assist me with trying to track down the product nationally and giving me invaluable advice as to measurements and installation. I was so impressed with her friendly manner and excellent customer service that I decided to visit the store in person with my other choice of laminate. I met with Sherri who was able to supply both my choice of (excellent quality and price) laminate and everything else required at an excellent price and arranged speedy delivery. I would also like to say that her colleague David was also helpful both in person and via the telephone and that the DWF delivery man was excellent. He was on time, friendly but professional and extremely helpful. All in all, it was a very pleasant, seamless experience and I definitely would not hesitate to recommend DWF to anyone looking to start their flooring journey. I look forward to completing my flooring project in the next week thanks to the excellent quality of both goods and service that I have received. Thank you.

Sherri answered every question and query we had and assisted us as and when we needed without any hard selling or pestering. Great selection of a range of different types of floorings. They also have business cards of local tradespersons that can fit the flooring.

We have just completed a substantial build project and have therefore had to deal with multiple suppliers for all items. Direct Wood Flooring, Sherri and her team at the Southampton branch were outstanding from beginning to end! As we had over 140m2 of flooring to lay, I took my time in choosing a product! Sherri has exceptional product knowledge (and patience!) ordering was simple, delivery on time and the quality of the floor is superb. Our fitter said it’s one of the best floors he has laid in a long time (he usually works with other brands such as Karndean, Amtico, etc.) Thanks again Sherri in the Southampton store, your head office should be very proud of your exceptional customer service and product knowledge. I didn’t realise flooring was such a complex purchase, but the staff here really supported me and talked me through all the options for my new extension. They talked me through how various products would fatigue over time (due to exposure to sunlight) and what effort would be involved to maintain the product over the coming years. This product knowledge has left me feeling content with my choice of purchase and I’m confident in the longevity of the product too. Pricing is always a sticking point when buying such a product at volume, but again, they talked me through all the alternative options along with the pros and cons of each. Would happily recommend and use Direct Wood flooring in the future.

We went to this shop to look at laminate flooring and the choice is great the people there were very good at showing us what they had and what were the prices. they were very knowledgeable on laminate flooring. we told them what we were looking for and they brought lots of samples to look at. we asked about how good they were for scratching and chipping and they told us honestly and pointed us to there other ranges which were a lot better and garenteed against scratching and chipping then worked out how much we needed and the price. they were never pushy and left you alone to look and pick what you wanted then when you asked they were there to help so all ordered and waiting for delivery all in all a very good experience in this store

Just visited our Hedge End Direct Wood Flooring warehouse to replace laminate for our en-suite bathroom. Found exactly what we wanted made by EvoCore, which was extremely strong, waterproof and would be a great match for our existing tiles. Our choice was helped by their not only charming but very knowledgeable sales assistant Sherri. She made plenty of positive suggestions and even one I hadn’t thought of, when we chose a thinner laminate, to make up the floor level to our requirement. Thank-you to Sherri, for such pleasant and informed service. We would definitely shop here again and recommend to them anyone in our area.
