MG Wood Flooring Ltd

Marcin has done an absolutely fantastic job restoring our hallway and living room solid wood floors. Extremely hard working, clean and tidy, and clearly Marcin has passion and love for what he does. Great value for money, too. Highly recommend this man if you want your wood floors transformed. Kurt (Southampton).

A big thank you to Marcin. Very professional and hard working. Two large room floors and kitchen work tops and was able to fit in extra job of sanding another worktop. Very clean and polite. Would definitely recommend to anyone contemplating having their floors or work tops sanded. I absolutely love the end result. I only wish I had taken before and after photos. Thank you Marcin.

Marcin and his brother came to renovate our pine wood floorboards around 5 years ago now. We were so impressed at the time of the skill, workmanship and professionalism of the work they did. And 5 years on I'm writing this review to say we are still so pleased with the floor. They don't look any different from they day they were renovated! I'd recommend them to anyone.

Having used this company a couple of times now, I can highly recommend their service. Clean, efficient , polite with finishes of the highest standard.

Amazing service from Marcin. A true professional and very easy to deal with. He has restored our parquet flooring to brand new and it looks beautiful. Marcin kept me updated during the works and was very hard working. Thanks for all your help.

MG Wood Flooring did an excellent job of sanding & re-varnishing the upper & lower hall floors at our scout hut. Marcin is polite, punctual and tidy worker. Our floors look superb, highly recommend, thanks

Excellent job and great guys, would highly recommend.

What a rare thing - friendly advice, great workmanship , on time and fairly priced. Five stars.

Marcin and his team did a great job, worked really hard , were very precise, informative and friendly. Would 100% recommend

We have been so pleased with the incredible service that Marcin has provided. I honestly could not recommend him enthusiastically enough. We asked Marcin to undertake quite a big job in our house, covering most of the downstairs of our small Victorian terrace. The existing floorboards were thin and of poor quality and needed replacing in their entirety. Prior to laying the new boards, Marcin and his brother insulated under the floor in our living room, dining room and hallway. All replacement floorboards were reclaimed and sourced by Marcin. Once lain, the floorboards were sanded and finished beautifully with great attention to detail. All done whilst keeping the space clean and tidy. Aside from being a brilliant craftsman, Marcin is an excellent communicator and is very responsive. We had moved out temporarily to allow these works to happen and Marcin kindly sent me work-in-progress photos (shared here) throughout the duration. He made sure we were consulted on anything that required a decision and you also really trusted any recommendations that he gave. Considering the amount of work involved and the quality of the service, it all worked out at very good value. Thank you Marcin, we are so happy with our new floors!

We had previously used Marcin a few years ago and were extremely pleased with the result so when we need more work doing we were happy to ask him to do it. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently with little mess. We would use his services again and would highly recommend his work

Full marks! If you have floors, you should used this company.

This was the second time we've used Marcin and his team for our wood flooring, this time to restore parquet in our new home. On both occasions, from the initial visit and quote to the work being carried out, Marcin is responsive, professional and on time. We are so pleased with the finished results of our floors, they look beautiful, totally transformed. We would highly recommend. Many thanks

Excellent all round. Very happy with the work. No dust anyway despite sanding two large floors.

Original bedroom floorboards in very poor state with large gaps and holes in some places, and nails sticking out. Marcin restored so the floors are smooth, and holes are gone. Huge difference and quick and professionak work.

This is the third time we have used Marcin to sand and seal our floors and as ever we are delighted with the result. He responds promptly to a request for a quote, charges very reasonable rates and arrives on time to complete the job. He is very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend him.

Great job very pleased with my floor. I would definitely recommend.

I have no hesitation in recommending Marcin. With his broither he has transformed our hall and kitchen floors on time and in budget.

Great job, the guys stripped back, sanded and re-coated our old original Victorian pine floors which now look amazing. Marcin and his brother arrived dead on time, went about the work with attention to detail ive not witnessed for a long, long time. Highly recommended.

We were very pleased with the efficiency and quality of their work. Nothing was too much trouble. Our floors look amazing and would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Since my first review I have had two further floors sanded. Both were done with the same professional conduct and beautifully finished. I have been so impressed with Marcin I would not go anywhere else now. I cannot recommend highly enough. I have received exceptional service from Marcin and his Brother. My floor was in a pretty poor state having been attacked by plumbers trying to get in to pipe work. Marcin moved boards around to get the best use out of existing to repair the damage and only had to replace about 9ft as a result. The floor is draft proofed, well sanded and a beautiful golden brown. They also had to take out part of an existing hearth stone without damaging my already installed marble hearth. They managed it!! I think you can tell that I am very very happy with the result. I would be happy to endorse MG Wood Flooring.

We have used Marcin at MG Wood Flooring a few times now and every time his work is of the highest possible standard for a great price. He has just completed a piece of work for us which was to sand and varnish our stairs, landing and a large bedroom. When we lifted the old carpet on the stairs my husband commented that he did not think there was any possible way that Marcin could repair what was underneath and that he was sure we would need completely new stairs and landing floor boards. But Marcin worked his magic (we still do not know how) and the result is incredible. The stairs and landing look as if they are new but whilst retaining the character and originality of our Edwardian home by using what was there and repairing where possible and replacing what was essential. Marcin did comment that our landing was possibly one of the worst he had seen and yet he still managed to achieve a beautiful result! Previously MG Wood Flooring have restored a parquet floor for us and also two other large reception room floors bringing everything back to its original beauty. Marcin is very flexible, honest and extremely hardworking whilst always being very fair with his pricing. Do not hesitate to use them - you will not be disappointed!

Marcin was great to work with from start to finish. He came and looked at the space really promptly and gave honest advice as to the results we could expect. He was flexible on dates and really prompt with timings. No job was too much work - he repaired several broken areas of flooring and they look fantastic. We are really pleased with the results and the room is significantly warmer. Our builder also commented that this was the best floor sanding he had seen. Thanks Marcin!

I was thinking about taking my old beaten up staircase out and installing a new one . I gave mg wood flooring a call and the guy had a look .( i think the blokes name was marcin ??? ) really nice guy , explained what he could do with the stairs .
