Essex Fascias

We had Steve come to replace our well worn original wooden fascias and leaking guttering. You wont meet anyone more enthuastic about fascias and guttering. Steve was recommended and he really knew his stuff and did an excellent job.

We have just had all of our soffits, fascia’s and guttering recently replaced by Steve at Essex Fascia’s. His knowledge, experience and attention to detail is second to none and we cannot fault the quality of his work and are absolutely delighted with the end result. His work ethic is exceptional and unlike a lot of trades so is his timekeeping. If you are looking for new gutters, fascia’s or soffits to be done professionally then look no further. Steve is an exceptionally professional worker and we would not hesitate to recommend him. Thanks Steve for a truly exceptional job.

Steve is a lovely guy and easy to get on with. He is extremely motivated as he loves the work he does which is to a very high standard and he is not happy until it is right. He is extremely reliable. On the the whole I would thoroughly recommend this company

The whole experience from start to finish has been first class. Following my original web enquiry, Steve followed -up promptly with an on-site visit and a quotation. We agreed a start date, which was fully respected. Steve and his colleague have done a great installation job, have been courteous and professional at all times and were diligent to follow-up and fix a couple of roofing tiles that were broken when the scaffolding was removed. A very happy customer!

Steve replaced all the guttering on my garage. He did a very good job Thank you Steve

Contacted Steve regarding a leak on front of house gutter. Was pleasantly surprised when Steve was able to come by a fix the issue the very next day. Not even 24hrs turnaround between initial request and the job being complete. Steve was so helpful in explaining the issue and did an excellent job in repairing the gutter. Would 100% recommend Steve to anyone in the Colchester / Stanway area looking for gutter help. He was immense!

Great small business to deal with. Very thorough workmen. Very pleased with the outcome.

Delighted with the service received from Essex Fascias. Outstanding communication from start to finish and first class workmanship from a team that take pride in their work. Great value for money for a high quality finish. I would definitely recommend.

Very happy. Steve’s knowledge and work is outstanding. Communicates well and punctual. ***Highly Recommended***

Steve has been a pleasure to deal with, very reasonable quote and high quality work. Great looking fascias now and appreciate the time taken to clear up as well afterwards. Thanks Steve!

Steve replaced all of our facias and gutters in 2007. He did a tidy job with good quality materials that have retained their bright finish and still look good. After 16 years one of the corner pieces split allowing water through. I contacted Steve, who came round with a new one and fitted it - at no cost! After 16 years that's real service. Thanks Steve.

Steve and Lee very accomodating, very good value and very profesional. They have done a fantastic job would highly recommend.

Great, professional service from Steve. On time and efficient. Would definitely use them again for any future work.

I have just had all my soffits, fascias, bargeboards and guttering replaced by Essex Fascias and Steve and Lee did a brilliant job. This included replacing the wood around the patio door extension and above the front door. Everything was done exactly as promised to the price quoted (including putting up the bird nestboxes that I had bought for the sparrows that could no longer access the roof space!). The whole operation was very tidy and all waste materials taken away from site. Steve made it clear where options were available, and the pros and cons, and I was delighted with the result. He is extremely passionate about the work he does- the detailing around the box ends and new vents was excellent. Poor weather extended the installation time but there was no compromise on workmanship. Steve had been strongly recommended by a neighbour across the road and I am very pleased that I went ahead with him. I am very happy to now recommend Essex Fascias myself!

Absolutely fantastic service and work from Steve and Lee at Essex Fascias. Although delayed a bit by the weather Steve ensured we were kept informed throughout our journey of having new soffets and fascias, both Steve and Lee were very professional, friendly and knowledgable. they even spent some time with the dog and she grew to not even notice them when they came to work. I would throughly recomend using Essex fascias for any of your roofline work. Thank you very much Steve

We hired Essex Fascias to replace our fascias, soffits & guttering having seen what a good job they did on a neighbour’s house. Steve and Lee did a great job – the finish was excellent, they worked tidily and professionally, started and completed the job as programmed and were a pleasure to work with. One small snag was dealt with promptly and without fuss. I would recommend them to others.

Steve is friendly & professional and clearly cares about his workmanship. He will go out of his way to aid with other issues truly masking him a one stop shop for your facia and soffit needs. Highly recommended!

We recently had Essex Facias renew all of our facias, soffits & rain water system around our property in Leavenheath. We were extremely impressed with Seve from the point of quotation until the point of completion of the job. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve and the work was carried out with the upmost proffesionalism and of an excellent standard. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and would not hesitate in recommending Essex Facias.

We had soffits, fascias, ventilation and gutters replaced by Steve and his colleague, which he assured us would cure the black mould problem we had been having in the back bedrooms. The finished job looks amazing. Steve is polite and knowlegeable, explaining all steps of the work that needed doing. Arrived on time each day and was clean and tidy throughout his time at our home. Highly recommeded.

Essex Fascias did an outstanding job updating our roofline - we are extremely pleased with the work performed and Steve is a total perfectionist. Highly recommend..

Great job completed by Essex Fascias. Steve installed new fascias, soffits and bargeboards to our house, removing the old defective and weather worn material and installing modern high quality rosewood fixture. Highly recommended. I found Steve's attention to detail reassuring resulting in a great job, well done. From the first consultation where he described what was available and possible, to his advice on the right product to enhance our property, he demonstrated he was not just knowable, but also passionate about delivering a great job. He explained what he was going to do, then did it to a very high standard. Great work Essex Fascias.

We used Essex Fascia’s after a recommendation from one of our friends, having seen Steve’s fantastic work, we decided to have a quote. The quote was very competitive and in March this year we went ahead. We could not fault Steve on anything, great quality, value and service - excellent job, thank you.

Steve was working on our neighbour's fascias when he noticed the state of our solar panels. He kindly offered to clean our panels and wouldn't accept payment - just a thoroughly good guy. Nextdoor's fascias look fantastic too!

After watching Steve do such an amazing job on our back door neighbours facia, soffit & guttering we asked him to quote for ours. Really nice guys too who put you at ease instantly. If you need new or replacement Soffits, Fascias and guttering look no further, I cant recommend Essex Fascias enough! Thanks very much guys. Karen & Jon

We had our Facias, soffits and guttering replaced by Steve at Essex Facias. His enthusiasm, attention to detail and workmanship is first class a true professional that takes great pride in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending him in the future.

Excellent product, excellent installation, excellent communication, excellent all round! Steve is a pleasure to deal with and his enthusiasm for fascias and soffits is infectious! Thoroughly recommended!

I spotted Essex Fascias had good reviews online and thought to get in touch for a faulty gutter issue. I called and left Steve a voicemail to which he responded after a couple of days which was fine as his pre-recorded message already advised that he was very busy. When he called back, he was apologetic for not calling back sooner (talk about brilliant customer service, I felt like a valued customer). He advised he no longer did gutter repairs, but would still come round and have a look so that he could recommend someone. This was 6:00pm on a Saturday evening and within minutes he was at my door and having a look, with a smile to told me he knew the exact problem and had the needed parts in the van and before I knew it, Steve was at it, he was fixing my gutter.... This was way beyond my expectations I haven't had my expectations surpassed like this recently. Brilliant customer service + knowledge of what to do, I couldn't ask for any thing more. I would absolutely recommend!!!

Thank you so much for working on our house for us. It looks amazing. Both you and Sid should be extremely proud of what you do and produce. Your meticulous work just transforms a property beyond belief. Our tired external woodwork is gone and we have such quality in its place. Anyone reading this please ensure you make contact with Steve Hollis before speaking to other companies. The others just don’t produce this workmanship or use such products as Essex Facias. You seriously will not regret my recommendation. Stay safe guys. Feel free to use our property to show future customers of yours. Sincerely, Simon & Louise

Steve completed replacement of our Fascia and gutters in the time he allocated and planned. The whole process was completed incredibly professionally with care and attention to detail. He is readily prepared to take on any extras that make the final product look first class. I highly recommend him. He's a great guy too!

A brilliant job carried out by Essex Fascias. If you are considering the replacement of your roofline, (soffits, fascias and gutters), look no further for a thorough and professional company at a very competitive price.

Excellent service and good quality fitting

Excellent friendly and helpful service. Many thanks.

Professional service will definitely use again.

I had all my fascias/soffits/guttering replaced and I am delighted with the quality of the finished work. Steve is clearly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional whilst being friendly. I was kept informed of the progress of the work and what was being done, I am confident that I have a great looking roofline professionally fitted at a very fair price.

Prior to starting, the portfolio, quote and emails that Steve sent were highly professional. Steve's pride in his work shines through with the superb job he's done on making our house's soffits, fascias, rendering and guttering the best on the street (and beyond!), and he and his colleague were friendly throughout. Additionally, Steve was flexible when we asked if noise could be kept lower for a few hours ... ideal if you're working from home! If it's not already obvious: we highly recommend Steve and Essex Fascias!

Excellent work from dedicated professionals, Friendly, courteous and left my garden spotless when they finished. The fascias and soffits they fitted have made a huge difference to heating and removal of drafts in the house.

Definitely 5-stars. Steve's professionalism shone through from the first time he came round to quote for the work. I had all my fascias/soffits/guttering replaced in anthracite grey - absolutely delighted with the results and the attention to detail was exemplary. The price was also cheaper than a few big companies who quoted, and the service felt more personal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Essex Fascias to anyone.

Steve and Julian have done a fantastic job of replacing our fascias and gutters. They were very friendly and professional throughout, and clearly experts in their field, explaining everything they were doing as they went along. The finished job is fantastic, high-quality work. Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again!

A thoroughly professional service from first enquiry through to completion. Essex Fascias’ diligence, enthusiasm, commitment and pride in completing a job to the highest of standards was evident throughout; their installation of new fascias, soffits and gutters has been faultless. Steve’s excellent reputation precedes him and rightly so; his exacting standards are a credit to him. Highly recommended. Thanks Steve & Julian – all the best. Neil.

He has done an excellent job and we are really pleased with the quality of hi work. Both Steve and the lad he works with were friendly and professional and the job was done with no issues and on time what more could you ask for? We would highly recommend these guys ...GREAT JOB!!!!

This is the third time I've employed them to carry out fascias and soffits etc and would thoroughly recommend them. Always efficient and tidy with their final finish they even hid external wiring under the soffits, which I hadn't considered, at no extra cost.

I would highly recommend this company. Excellent communication, very competitive prices, and excellent job in replacing guttering and fascias. Steve obviously takes great pride in his work and desire to do a good job which is shown in the finished product.

Excellent service. Real attention to detail, reliable, friendly, and quality workmanship from Steve and his team. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I highly recommend Steve the owner of Essex Facias for the installation of uPVC soffits and facias and associated rainwater discharge, Steve has an extensive knowledge of the building industries methodology and code of practice for soffit and facia replacement and will not compromise on the quality of the materials he uses. Steve will comply with what you feel you want and will advise you if he feels your wishes are unachievable he will do his very best to make your vision come true. All work is undertaken in a methodical manner at the end of each working day, the work site was left clean and free of all old building material I highly recommend Steve and would urge you to allow him the opportunity to advise and quote for your replacement soffits and facias. All the best for the future regards Roger Waters

Alan and Jenny

Meticulous, personable, great quality, good price and value, would recommend without reservation.

Steve and Julian provide a friendly service with a very clear emphasis on a high standard of worksmanship at a keen price. The job took a day extra than quoted for as they were more concerned to do the job right than rush to finish. No hesitation in recommending Essex Fascias to others.

Steve done an an excellent job of our porch. He replaced our soffit, fascias and guttering and it now looks top notch!

I can highly recommend Essex Fascias. From the initial request for a quote right through to having the work done the experience was entirely positive. Friendly efficient service. Very competitive prices, with top quality workmanship, can't ask for more.

Absolutely First Class in every respect. Punctual, tidy, considerate and above all, attention to detail. The passion that Steve (and Julian) have for their craft was evident from the moment he came round to quote for our job - this involved a lot of scaffolding which was managed in a timely and professional way too. Can't recommend Essex Fascias highly enough - VERY pleased with the results. Thank You.

Very happy to recommend Essex Fascias. Brilliant workmanship, very reasonably priced and Steve was very helpful keeping us updated as the work progressed, i think Julian may even have left the patio tidier than when they started! Will defiantly use on all future projects.

Excellent service from Steve, the quality of his work is second to none and we are really pleased with the result. Our house has been extended several times which meant a difficult job for him to get everything to line up - his professionalism and attention to detail has transformed the look of the property - No hesitation in recommending.

Within 5 mins of meeting knew Steve was the man for the job - the difference from previous quotes from 'sales guys' was chalk and cheese, and didn't look further. Enthusiasm for his trade was obvious as was pride in a job well done. Quality materials and finish, with accompanying photos of the bits you can't see from below. A large job (60+ metres of roofline, non-standard tiles and extensions to work around) completed to high standard, on time, on quote. Most importantly communication is excellent before, during and after, with very prompt after care follow up on small points. Would (and have) recommend to all.

We found Steve to be very professional and passionate in what he does. He kept us updated each day on the progress made and also left everything tidy and clean. We also found him to be very considerate as I am disabled and he was as quiet as he could be. We found his work to be outstanding and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Steve replaced my guttering, fascias, and soffits December 2017. Prompt with the quote, Did a quality job, communicated well, turned up when he said he would and gave me a good price.

Steve and his team replaced all the soffits, fascias and guttering on our house in May 2016. He knows his trade inside out with passion and takes great pride in his work. His prices are fair, work and finish is top quality and he is very reliable. On top of that, Steve is a genuinely nice guy and I would recommend him unreservedly. A rare find these days!

This is the second job Steve has done for us and as before the job has been done to a very high standard and at a fair price. He has replaced all our guttering and taken away the old and cleared up just as I would do so myself. Thank you Steve for another excellent job.

I have used Steve twice now in 2 properties I've owned over the years and wouldn't even consider going elsewhere he is a total perfectionist in every aspect. He always does a 110% job he uses only the best quality materials which last right down to the screw covers. His prices are extremely fair. So if ur thinking of using him u really should as in my opinion u won't find anyone better snd trustworthy. Very happy Colchester customer

elderly, female and living on own - 3 factors to attract rogues but I had the luck to find Steve Hollis, an honest, hardworking, fair charging, perfectionist who runs Essex Fascias. Having provided a roofline for my 4 bed detached, he offered to give me a free estimate and survey of the bungalow I was intending to buy. In fact I used another contractor, merely because he was offering a 'one price inclusive of several other jobs' deal. That 2nd contractor disappeared into the ethers when jobs completed, and when my bungalow's new guttering gushed water, it was Essex Fascias who made good all the leaks. I cannot recommend highly enough - this man and company will not let you down

Superb, Excellent and Reliable , that is how we would describe Steve. The work which was carried out by Steve and his team was excellent and faultless. This is the fourth time Steve has carried out works for us and we would not hesitate to recommend Steve and Essex Fascias. Peter & Anna Colchester.
