We recently had all our old wooden soffits and fascias along with the guttering replaced by Essex Fascias and we are delighted with the results. It was quite a big job with soffits and fascias on all four sides of the house at the higher level and on three sides at a lower level. Steve completed all the work along with new guttering and down pipes efficiently and with great attention to detail giving a really neat job all round. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend.
We had Steve come to replace our well worn original wooden fascias and leaking guttering. You wont meet anyone more enthuastic about fascias and guttering. Steve was recommended and he really knew his stuff and did an excellent job.

The whole experience from start to finish has been first class. Following my original web enquiry, Steve followed -up promptly with an on-site visit and a quotation. We agreed a start date, which was fully respected. Steve and his colleague have done a great installation job, have been courteous and professional at all times and were diligent to follow-up and fix a couple of roofing tiles that were broken when the scaffolding was removed. Contacted Steve regarding a leak on front of house gutter. Was pleasantly surprised when Steve was able to come by a fix the issue the very next day. Not even 24hrs turnaround between initial request and the job being complete. Steve was so helpful in explaining the issue and did an excellent job in repairing the gutter. Steve replaced all of our facias and gutters in 2007. He did a tidy job with good quality materials that have retained their bright finish and still look good. After 16 years one of the corner pieces split allowing water through. I contacted Steve, who came round with a new one and fitted it - at no cost! After 16 years that's real service. Thanks Steve.

I have just had all my soffits, fascias, bargeboards and guttering replaced by Essex Fascias and Steve and Lee did a brilliant job. This included replacing the wood around the patio door extension and above the front door. Everything was done exactly as promised to the price quoted (including putting up the bird nestboxes that I had bought for the sparrows that could no longer access the roof space!). The whole operation was very tidy and all waste materials taken away from site. Steve made it clear where options were available, and the pros and cons, and I was delighted with the result. He is extremely passionate about the work he does- the detailing around the box ends and new vents was excellent. Poor weather extended the installation time but there was no compromise on workmanship. Steve had been strongly recommended by a neighbour across the road and I am very pleased that I went ahead with him. I am very happy to now recommend Essex Fascias myself!
Absolutely fantastic service and work from Steve and Lee at Essex Fascias. Although delayed a bit by the weather Steve ensured we were kept informed throughout our journey of having new soffets and fascias, both Steve and Lee were very professional, friendly and knowledgable. they even spent some time with the dog and she grew to not even notice them when they came to work. We hired Essex Fascias to replace our fascias, soffits & guttering having seen what a good job they did on a neighbour’s house. Steve and Lee did a great job – the finish was excellent, they worked tidily and professionally, started and completed the job as programmed and were a pleasure to work with. We recently had Essex Facias renew all of our facias, soffits & rain water system around our property in Leavenheath. We were extremely impressed with Seve from the point of quotation until the point of completion of the job. Nothing was too much trouble for Steve and the work was carried out with the upmost proffesionalism and of an excellent standard. We used Essex Fascia’s after a recommendation from one of our friends, having seen Steve’s fantastic work, we decided to have a quote. I spotted Essex Fascias had good reviews online and thought to get in touch for a faulty gutter issue. I called and left Steve a voicemail to which he responded after a couple of days which was fine as his pre-recorded message already advised that he was very busy. When he called back, he was apologetic for not calling back sooner (talk about brilliant customer service, I felt like a valued customer). He advised he no longer did gutter repairs, but would still come round and have a look so that he could recommend someone. This was 6:00pm on a Saturday evening and within minutes he was at my door and having a look, with a smile to told me he knew the exact problem and had the needed parts in the van and before I knew it, Steve was at it, he was fixing my gutter.... This was way beyond my expectations I haven't had my expectations surpassed like this recently. Brilliant customer service + knowledge of what to do, I couldn't ask for any thing more. I would absolutely recommend!!!

This is the third time I've employed them to carry out fascias and soffits etc and would thoroughly recommend them. Always efficient and tidy with their final finish they even hid external wiring under the soffits, which I hadn't considered, at no extra cost.

Within 5 mins of meeting knew Steve was the man for the job - the difference from previous quotes from 'sales guys' was chalk and cheese, and didn't look further. Enthusiasm for his trade was obvious as was pride in a job well done. Quality materials and finish, with accompanying photos of the bits you can't see from below. A large job (60+ metres of roofline, non-standard tiles and extensions to work around) completed to high standard, on time, on quote. Most importantly communication is excellent before, during and after, with very prompt after care follow up on small points. Would (and have) recommend to all.

I have used Steve twice now in 2 properties I've owned over the years and wouldn't even consider going elsewhere he is a total perfectionist in every aspect. He always does a 110% job he uses only the best quality materials which last right down to the screw covers. His prices are extremely fair. elderly,female and living on own - 3 factors to attract rogues but I had the luck to find Steve Hollis, an honest, hardworking, fair charging, perfectionist who runs Essex Fascias. Having provided a roofline for my 4 bed detached, he offered to give me a free estimate and survey of the bungalow I was intending to buy. In fact I used another contractor, merely because he was offering a 'one price inclusive of several other jobs' deal. That 2nd contractor disappeared into the ethers when jobs completed, and when my bungalow's new guttering gushed water, it was Essex Fascias who made good all the leaks. I cannot recommend highly enough - this man and company will not let you down
