Recently we had ver stressful experience with a potential carbon monoxide and gas leak in the house. With two small children we were extremely concerned. The result was that the gas was switched off to the house and we were told that we needed to apply for planning permission for a new gas pipe. We sought a second opinion through JDL and it was the best thing we ever did! They sent an engineer the next day and went away and thought about us from a human perspective not just as a means for money. They came up with a solution and implemented it straight away. This is what makes a company. JDL are so efficient and put you, the customer first. Their engineers are friendly, polite and very knowledgable. I would recommend JDL for all of your heating needs. You won't regret it!

JDL have recently carried out an amazing job replacing my Dads boiler and updating his heating/water system, at 86 yrs old my Dad finds strangers in his house quite stressful, but he was so complimentary of the JDL engineers on site for 3 days that I feel I needed to share. The engineers were very mindful of my Dads age, making him feel included and were very patient explaining what was happening all the way through. Very professional, neat and tidy finish to the pipe work etc. Dad was very impressed how clean the engineers left the house, a better cleaning job that he does he says, praise indeed. Thank you JDL

We have used JDL for a number of years to service our gas boiler and they have always been very good. A few weeks ago our boiler stopped working - the day before my wife's 60th birthday and just before we had a weekend of guests arriving, I contacted Holly at JDL who was very helpful and she managed to get two engineers out to us the same day who were able to fix the problem and get the boiler working again. Hats off to both David and Ryan for sorting this out so promptly and efficiently - they were polite, incredibly professional and made no mess at all. I have used JDL through my place of work for a few years now, This time I have used them for a personal job. My dad's boiler was on it's last legs and he finally agreed for me to arrange to get him a replacement. I spoke to Sam who came out and gave my dad a quote. It was half the price my dad was expecting so agreed to go ahead. Tommy who installed the boiler was great with my dad. He kept updating my dad on what he was doing and was very professional and patient with him. All the staff at JDL are always polite, professional, and very helpful. I would highly recommend JDL for service, amazing staff, price and quality of work.

I deal with the management of a few rental properties and have dealt with several different contractors over the years. By far the staff at JDL are the most courteous, helpful, professional and efficient team I have come across in a while. Whenever I have had a repair the staff are on it - somebody is able to attend to the work quickly and when that job is done the report back is thorough with photographic evidence of what has been done. The engineers explain what they are doing whilst carrying out works at properties to our tenants which is great customer service. Unfortunately Ann I believe has moved on but Rich, Sam Michaela and the rest of the team come highly recommended!!!

We were let down by the plumber who we lined up 5weeks earlier, resulting in 2 working days to find someone to fit and connect a gas boiler to hob, shower, sink. JDL came out straight away. Excellent, professional, knowledgeable, speedy, friendly - what more do you want!

I've used JDL for a few years and always been pleased. I asked if they could help swap my gas fire for an electric fire and Rich was very helpful. All the engineers where excellent and I'm very pleased.

Absolutely amazing job by Connor! Our water heater needed a replacement and he did it in an extremely professional way. He is super polite and knowledgeable, not to mention that everything was left in a stellar condintion after he installation of the new heater. It is really a joy to have an engineer like him doing repairs at your home. I can recommend JDL to everyone simply because of Connor.

Excellent job - replacement OSO water heater. Highly recommend the engineer named Connor for his workmanship, making sure all is done correctly and also protecting carpets etc. Also JDL office staff efficient and friendly to deal with.

Excellent service from JDL since the first phone call to them, very pleasant people to speak to. The only issue was that the lady taking the customers calls did not communicate well with the plumber who was coming to do the work, therefore the incorrect information was passed on so the guy couldn't complete the job on the day stated. However, the guy that came, Connor, was extremely pleasant and professional, he apologised for the miscommunication with the office lady, and reassured me that the job would get done in the end. Which it certainly did, when he came back, again he was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure the job was done to a high standard. His communication was excellent and he was extremely efficient. Thank you Connor for doing a superb job!

Same day service for a problem I caused myself...look where I’m putting nails into a wall next time ! The engineer who attended, Jack, called before arriving, was friendly but professional, communicated what he was doing throughout and did a great job. First time I’ve used JDL but my experience from calling at 7.30 this morning to having the problems fixed by lunchtime, at a reasonable cost, was excellent. Professional and responsive from end to end. No hesitation in recommending.

We've used JDL several times for annual boiler services, but this time it was an install of a new Vaillant boiler. In terms of the work done, the new boiler is soooo much better than our old one. It's quiet, and efficiently keeps the house at even temperature, unlike the old one that fluctuated wildly and didn't feel efficient at all. Everything was installed neatly, and any little gaps left from new holes drilled or old holes left over were made good to a high standard. Connor, the installer, was excellent throughout the day when fitting the boiler: prompt arrival, very polite, thorough in his work, he took care to explain what he was doing, and cleaned thoroughly after finishing. Connor is a real credit to JDL. Well done!

Very polite on the phone, but trying to get a quote for a job seems like the hardest thing to get done. Let down twice and cut me off the phone and not replying to emails when asked to email the company. Maybe because the job was too small, not sure! Had to look else where.

I have used JDL several times now, from electrical installation on a new kitchen and dining room, to annual boiler maintenance, as well as external lighting on a large are of decking. This week they have repaired our gas boiler at very short notice, as we were left without any hot water. Their customer service is second to none, and we have always felt that their charges have been very fair, and have never differed from the original price quoted. Their employees are polite and professional, and clean up at the end of the day. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody.

Excellent service and work carried out. The plumber was excellent and even had shoe covers which is brilliant. The work was carried out efficiently and he tidied up afterwards. Overall a great job well done. I will be using JDL again.

Used JDL to install a replacement closed hot water system. Their customer care was first class, they were reliable and done the job as quoted. Highly recommended.

JDL installed a new RCD a few months ago, after we've had years of the electricity supply tripping off even when a light bulb blew. They came to assess the job when they said they would, they gave us a reasonable quote and did the job efficiently and professionally. Best of all we've had no trouble whatsoever with it since! Absolutely brilliant! Definitely recommended.

Poor customer service. Phoned today enquiring about an apprenticeship, the woman who answered put me on hold then knocked me off by accident and I heard them talking in the background for her to tell me he wasn't in and wasn't picking up the other phone just because he couldn't be bothered. Not impressed at all.
