Zinc Electrical Ltd

Oli arrived promptly as arranged and wasted no time in carrying out neat and tidy work. I would cetainly recommend Zinc Electrical.

Oli was incredibly thorough and found the solution for our EV garage charging setup - we have a detached garage away from our house with some electrical challenges. He explained everything and completed a really tidy install - would highly reccommend!

Oliver was very prompt, thorough and professional installing my zappi and for any female customers who are wanting an electrician they feel comfortable and safe letting into their home with them, I can recommend him

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Zinc Electrical. Oliver installed solar panels to our new build. I was impressed with the initial proposal and liked that the products used are quality. The installation was carried out professionally and neatly. And the after sales care has equalled the same high service. It has paid to use a local company who take pride in their work.

We received an Outstanding off grid installation of 12 solar panels and battery storage from Ollie and his team at our farm in York. Highly professional company from start to finish. Paid a deposit pre works and felt very reassured when I received an email about the deposit protection scheme they use and I was now part of. The installation went very smoothly from start to finish from turning up on time to the quality work carried out. I cannot recommend Zinc Electrical highly enough and we are now enjoying our free green energy! I also like the App which keeps me up to date with charging of our system. Simple to navigate.

Friendly, expert advice and seamless install. Highly recommended.

We decided to use Zinc Electrical for our solar panel and battery installation due to the professional way the estimate etc was managed. We also preferred to use a local company who would be responsive if we had any questions or issues. We were certainly not disappointed! The installation was straightforward and exactly as had been explained. Oliver communicates clearly and responds to any calls or messages promptly. We are very pleased with our system. Highly recommended!

Hypervolt 3 EV charger installed. Difficult Job as long and convoluted run from meter to garage but Zinc did a neat and clean job at a value price. Definitely recommend and use again. 😁

Excellent service

Oliver’s attention to detail for my solar install has really shone throughout my installation, with my multiple questions regarding mounting system for my flat roof, bird protection as a few installs around the area have pigeon nuisance problems which mine do not. I was very impressed with his thorough survey and the in-depth result from this with my electricity projection for the years to come. Thank you Oliver.

I recently had a solar battery installed by Oliver from Zinc Electrical, and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From the outset, Oliver was professional, knowledgeable, and excellent at communicating every step of the process. Before the installation, he provided a detailed video and presentation explaining exactly how the battery system would work, along with a personalised projection of the efficiency and savings I could expect based on my usage. This gave me complete confidence in the investment and helped me understand the benefits clearly. The installation itself was carried out to a very high standard, and Oliver took the time to ensure I was comfortable with how everything operated. What has really stood out, however, is the level of aftercare. Since the installation, Oliver has continued to follow up, checking that everything is performing as expected and taking the time to explain the battery's performance and results. It's rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such excellent customer service. The ongoing support and communication have been exceptional, and I've been genuinely impressed throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Oliver and Zinc Electrical to anyone considering a solar battery installation.

Oliver fitted my eddi solar power diverter. It was fitted very neatly within my other systems. Oliver is very knowledgeable and was willing to talk through everything in my home at a level anyone would understand. Great service, thank you.

Oliver is a very impressive individual. His passion for solar energy and the systems he installs is evident through his in-depth knowledge of the best options and the latest technology available. Oliver will put you at ease no matter what questions you have and we always had complete confidence in his decision making and doing what he said he would do. Everything was well organised, delivered on time, to budget and efficiently carried out. Little extras were never a problem and never caused an issue. A solar panel and battery installation is a lot of money and has the potential to be quite stressful. We had a great experience with Oliver and his team, and can fully recommend him.

Efficient high quality work, both electrical (solar and battery installation) and roofing (renewal of pantile roof). Good communication throughout and a fair price. Highly recommended.

Very positive experience overall - quick responses, and thorough/efficient during the installation work itself. Explained what was happening at each step, and pointed out then corrected some historical substandard earthing with no additional charge. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Zinc Electrical helped install our electric shower which ended up being a much bigger job than we imagined, but they managed it with the least disruption to us, organising everything with Northern Power to upgrade our fuse box and with no visible damage to our fixtures and fittings. Would highly recommend.
