DLA Electrical

Excellent service provided at reasonable price, in an agreed timescale. Advice was very helpful and options set out clearly. A pleasure to do business with Dan. Thoroughly recommended.

Dan did a great job fitting 2 external lights to our new property. Really good comms throughout, excellent quality of work and left everywhere immaculately afterwards.

I needed a local electrician to move some electrics due to a newly installed door, and to replace some faulty kinetic switches and receivers to my garden lights, previously fitted by another contractor. I contacted Dan via his online contact form and received a call within the hour. He was available in the afternoon to visit and quote. I found him to be very honest and informative and booked a fitting date. He arrived on time and made a really good job of the work using quality products. I was very happy with the overall experience and would certainly recommend him as a very professional electrician. Thanks Dan.

Dan has done a number of jobs for me now, at 2 different properties. His work has always been completed without issue, on time and on budget. In addition Dan is honest and trustworthy and I have no qualms leaving him with a key so he can access my home to do work whilst I’m away. On top of all that, he must be the tidiest ‘trady’ ever!! I’d have no hesitation recommending Dan for any electrical work.

Daniel has undertaken a complete rewiring of my property and encountered a number of unexpected issues - all of which he sorted for me. He kept me informed at all stages. When he left the house was restored to it's usual state. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone requiring electrical work doing.

Delighted with Dan’s work. Very knowledgeable, neat work and left the space spotless. David, Pocklington

If you’re looking for an electrician in Dunnington, we couldn’t recommend Dan of DLA Electrical more highly. He’s just completed a rewire of our bungalow and garage. He’s extremely knowledgeable and skilled, and interpreted our instructions and needs perfectly. He is punctual, responds quickly to queries, is totally trustworthy, and was most respectful of our property. We left him with our keys during the rewire and returned to an immaculately tidy house. A brilliant job!

Dan recently did some work on our house which involved replacing downlighters and undercupboard lights in the kitchen, replacing a faulty downlighter in the lounge, and resolving issues with the downlighters in our bedrooms. We are very pleased with the quality of Dan's work, he responded quickly to our request, gave a clear assessment and quote for the work required and was courteous and polite throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend Dan to others.

Dan had done a few electrical jobs on my home and I’m happy with all his work. He always turns up on time and is flexible on dates to suit me. A good tradesman

Dan was very professional and completed the works to a high standard. Would highly recommend.

Fitted new room thermostat, totally profesional, clean, informative. Actually ended up doing more than originally planned. Great service and exceptionally punctual. 5 stars not enough. Would hire again and highly recommend. 👍

Dan was very generous with his time when he came to discuss options and give a quote. When he came to do the work, he arrived on time and did all the things he said he would. He was friendly, polite and tidied up after himself. The work he did seems to be of very high quality. Will use again.

DLA Electrical was extremely competent, very knowledgeable, conscientious, thorough, very tidy and dealt with all queries in a helpful manner.

Found Dan through Google as a local electrician in the next village. Sent the email request for a quote over the weekend and got a response straight away. Dan came to the house to quote for the work which was received the same day. Price agreed and date set for installation of isolator switch to induction hob and installation. Gap for new hob was slightly smaller than the one going in and in no problem was the surface sawn so it could be fitted properly. All done in a really good amount of time and not even a drop of dust to be seen. We love the new installation and can’t thank Dan enough for his service. Would highly recommend 👍🏼

I can’t recommend highly enough the work carried out by DLA Electrics . Although apprehensive , I was extremely pleased with the patience shown and the expertise above and beyond doing the jobs both up and down stairs in my property .

Dan is prompt, polite, reliable, articulate, professional, honest and a generally nice guy. He's not the cheapest but at least with him you know that you will get the job done correctly and to the latest specifications.

The job proved more difficult than we originally expected but Dan was persistent and sorted things out. The finished job to install some brick lights and external sockets looks great - very happy with his work.

Had a new mains board fitted along with a kitchen re-wire, To start with Dan turned up at the pre-arranged time ( always a good start) he carried out a full condition check and report of all the circuits in the bungalow so I knew exactly from the start what work was required ( no nasty surprises) I found Dan to be a very knowledgeable and professional electrician who worked in a considerate efficient manner, dust sheets, shoe covers, the works ! I would have no hesitation in recommending DLA Electrical to anyone and would use him again should needs require. A true professional. Cheers Dan.

Excellent, on time and done to a very high standard. Also, left the house very tidy afterwards.

Dan has just completed a first class job for us which involved providing power to our new garden room, replacing a number of down-lights and a pendant light fitting, servicing our intruder alarm and testing / certifying the new installation. Dan is an excellent approved electrician - the quality of his work, thoroughness and attention to detail is really impressive. We will certainly go to him again if we have any more electrical work to be done.

Dan provided a very reasonable quote and has been very accommodating despite setbacks with the non electrical parts of the work from other tradesmen. Hes very professional and i would certainly use his services in the future.

Dan provided professional advice and information on an electrical certification matter, and directed me to the right professional bodies and services. Much appreciated.
