S Thorogood Electrical

Great service, it is my second time using the company. They have installed an ev charger for me previously and a fitted a new kitchen feature light today. They are prompt to reply to enquiries, reliable, polite, friendly and tidy. Would recommend and use again in the future. Thank you :)

I can't fault them, all seamlessly and so neatly done, prompt, friendly and very efficient. So thank you Scott and James.

Excellent service from Scott. I requested an EICR inspection on a flat I am buying. Scott made all the arrangements with the estate agent and submitted his report on the day of the inspection. Not only did he submit the standard EICR report, but he also wrote a separate report in plain English to explain what it meant and with his recommendations. This was followed up with an estimate of the very reasonable costs to repair the defects. Highly recommended!

I cannot rate S Thorogood Electrical highly enough. After being repeatedly let down by a national approved installer linked to an EV charger, I finally gave up with the install & contacted Scott. Within a few hours of my initial contact he requested photographs of the proposed installation & came back with a guide price. To get a proper look at the work involved, due to the complexity of the charger location & the Electricity meter, he made an appointment for a site visit. Scott & James turned up when they said they would & took their time planning the cable routing & discussing it with me, along with what EV Charger unit I would now be having. Later that day & full quotation was emailed over. On the day of the install, everything was as expected. Painless & without fuss, just what you would like. The overall quality of the workmanship is excellent & my house was left immaculate, Scott & James took the time to clean up afterwards & remove any rubbish. S Thorogood Electrical has now become my go-to electrician for any future work & I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends & family. After the problems I experienced with the charger approved company, it was so nice to be able to actually speak to a human being. I now have a fully functional charger with the proper safety certificates, what more could you ask for.

Excellent work again. Good communication, thoughtful, tidy, speedy. Very good all round.

Scott and James have done a number of jobs for us since we made our house move. They have always worked cleanly and efficiently. The latest job was installing power, lights and heater to my garden studio. As always this work was carried out with expertise and precision. We strongly recommend this company.

In September Scott installed downlights for us in 3 rooms and we were very pleased with the improved lighting effects. He is very knowledgeable dependable and pleasant to deal with. He did exactly what he quoted and tidied up well afterwards. We decided we will definitely have all our future electrical work done by Scott Now , we've employed Scott for a second time, on this occasion to install downlights in our previously gloomy passageway and we are really delighted with the results Totally professional and pleasant to deal with. Would highly recommend using S Thorogood Electricals. We used Scott’s services to install several new plug points, a timer switch and fit an electric hob. He provided prompt quotes, great communication and was very accommodating regarding jobs and dates. He was always punctual and offered advice and found excellent solutions to tricky wiring jobs, all carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Would not hesitate to use again for future jobs.

I had to get my electrics checked for my flat sale. I gave Scott a call, he gave a quote, then arranged a time and day that suited both of us. He came and tested everything and then put all the plugs back in. Great service, no mess, and the price quoted was exactly what I paid. I would highly recommend.

Excellent extractor fan replacement completed by Scott today. He was very helpful over the phone when I first contacted him, he could fit me in almost straight away and was available today earlier than expected :) His quote seemed reasonable, the work carried out was really quick, and executed to a high standard. His recommendation for the type of extractor fan was perfect, it's really quiet and good quality. I will use his services again for sure :)

Brilliant service by 2 very polite young men. Called mid morning and they fitted me in around lunchtime. Problem with wiring very quickly diagnosed and sorted. Very reasonably priced too. Would certainly recommend and they will be first call for any future electrical needs.

Fantastic service, Scott gave a price, stuck to it and the job was completed quickly, professionally and to very high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending this company

They answered fast, arrived, sorted it, cleared up and left. Price as quoted. Professional, reliable, friendly.

We had Scottt install a new consumer unit and wire in an induction cooker. He was careful to discuss options and costs throughout to manage expectations.. Showed up when he said he would, and got the work done with minimum fuss or disruption. We'll definitely be using him again and can recommend his services.

Fastest to respond for a quote. Agreed a date to do the work once the price was agreed. from contact to work complete six days, which included a weekend! Work was carried out professionally and tidily. Three light fittings replaced (Hall, bathroom and bedroom), one required the electrics to be moved to fit a fan light over my bed. This meant that the electrics had to be moved in the loft. This was done with a minimum of fuss and all work done to a good standard. Highly recommend and will no doubt be using again.

As the manager of a letting agent, I use Scott on a regular basis and find him to be nothing short of excellent every single time. Nothing is ever to much trouble for him. Always professional and efficient. Couldn't recommend his services highly enough. Thank you Scott.

As my parents are elderly and I live some way away I needed a reliable electrician to help them. Scott was courteous and very helpful. I would not hesitate to use him again.
