Rob came out to give us a quote for the installation of home batteries and our electric car charger installed at our property. From the get go Rob couldn’t be more helpful and his extensive knowledge meant be could he give us meaningful advice. We went head with our installation back in March and Rob and Chris were both brilliant, the car charger and batteries were installed on the same day. Due to the location of our batteries and distance to the WiFi router, it was having trouble with connecting to the WiFi to show on the app (no fault of Rob/Chris) so the following day Rob came out and installed a booster which sorted the connecting. We also had some issues with the bird netting falling from our panels, the same day Chris installed some proper clamps to hold the netting (as it was a DIY job by the previous owners) and had no issues since. Couldn’t recommend them both enough, thank you!
I rarely give positive reviews or recommendations but I have no hesitation in recommending M E Solar Ltd. Rob provided a competitive quote which matched or was cheaper than the many multinationals we had gotten quotes from. The difference was Rob actually cared about the solar installation and pointed out a few things that none of the others had. The Team were prompt, efficient and totally professional throughout. Appointments were adhered to and schedule of work carried out on time. I can't recommend them enough!
Had ME Solar install a 4.55 kWp solar and battery system at my home. Really pleased I went with them. Rob was great throughout the sales process. I came with a lot of questions and specific requirements, and he worked through multiple quotes with me without any pressure. He genuinely listened and suggested a few things that made the final system better than what I had originally planned. The installation team were clean, efficient and professional. The whole thing went smoothly and the system was up and running exactly as expected. If you're in Warwickshire and thinking about solar, these are the people to call. Local, knowledgeable, and they actually care about getting it right for your specific situation rather than just closing a sale.
I recently had ME Solar install a solar panel and battery system on my flat roof, and I honestly could not be happier with the whole experience. From the very beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. My installation was not the most straightforward due to the flat roof, structural considerations, battery setup, and export requirements, but ME Solar handled everything properly and clearly explained the options at each stage. The installation team were excellent. They arrived when expected, worked efficiently, and treated the house with real care. Everything was left clean and tidy afterwards, and the quality of the workmanship looks very good. I was especially impressed by the attention to detail and the small finishing touches, which made the install feel properly considered rather than rushed. The battery system and solar panels are now up and running, and I am already enjoying watching the system generate, store, and manage energy. ME Solar also helped with the paperwork side of things, including the MCS certificates and DNO/export process, which made the whole project much easier. Overall, I would highly recommend ME Solar to anyone considering solar panels, battery storage, or a more complex installation like a flat roof system. Great communication, excellent workmanship, and a very professional service from start to finish.
Reached out to M E Solar to add solar panels to an existing system. Robert provided an excellent service, answering all technical queries and providing me with 5 different quotes for various set ups. My existing system had a few installation issues which were put right along with the new installation. The installation team of Chris and Dan did a fantastic job. Would recommend any day.
M E Solar were great and I would not hesitate to recommend!! Robert really took the time to understand the problems we were having with our solar system (not supplied by M E Solar) and spent time ruling out possible issues to hone in on the source. He spoke directly with the solar system manufacturer and arranged new parts to resolve our issues. We were kept well informed and Rob was an all round lovely bloke! His team were even able to help repair a roofing issue we were also experiencing. Fab repair experience!

We have been working with M E Solar now for around 6 months providing scaffolding for their Solar panel installations. We are always given clear direction and a thought out plan of what scaffolding is required and dates for it to be delivered. It's noticeable that M E Solar has very high standards for their customers to receive the best service possible. They place a very high importance on safety for their workers. We have had to two Givenergy AIO's totalling 27kw installed in 2024 and have nothing but praise for Robert and his team. At the time of installation Givenergy had just released the capability of installing more than one AIO without fully testing the technology. The result was that there were issues that needed to be resolved. The persistence and pressure on Givenergy by Robert and ME Solar has finally resolved all the issues with the product. We now have a great system. Robert never gave up and all the issues have now been resolved. ME Soar follow through is exceptional. A great company and fully recommended.
I can honestly say that the service provided by M E Solar was excellent, in every respect. Communication was great and after an initial visit the system issue was diagnosed and a detailed quote provided. The work was scheduled and carried out to an impressive standard in a timely manner. Robert also ensured my faulty FIT meter was replaced extra quickly in order to minimise my loss, which I was really grateful for. The whole process couldn’t have worked better. Engineers were punctual and really professional and left everywhere immaculate when the work was completed. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company.
Outstanding EV Charger Installation and Customer Service Robert did a brilliant job from start to finish. His initial home visit was incredibly thorough, where he detailed several options and helped me understand the best choice for my setup. He went over and above by providing additional research and guidance via email, ensuring I had all the information I needed. As someone new to the world of EVs, I really appreciated his patience and willingness to explain everything simply and covering all the important factors I need to be aware of and consider. The installation itself was done to a high standard, and he took the time afterward to walk me through how the charger worked. He even helped me integrate it with the app and made sure I was comfortable using it. What sets Robert apart is his level of customer service—he's even offered further support should I need any help in the future. I couldn't recommend him more highly!

I have just had a 6kWh solar system (14 panels), with 10kWh battery installed and commissioned by M E Solar. The installation was flawless. Scaffolding went up the day before the install date. Electrics were done first, due to it being a bit rainy. Day 2/3, solar panels went up and afternoon of Day 3 was commissioning. The team were friendly, efficient and clean. I was asked about various options for cable routing etc. I had emergency power backup circuits installed, so there was a bit of extra wiring and a new consumer unit installed. It all worked perfectly first time. Since commissioning, it’s been a week and we have been 100% off grid from electricity since. On sunny days the system is producing over 30kWh and it is only April. We have not had a single fault with the system and the monitoring apps are second to none. M E Solar have really done themselves proud. Rob is very knowledgeable and puts customer service first. They use reputable products and no shortcuts were taken in quality or safety. I highly recommended M E Solar and I am 100% happy with their work. I am looking forward to much cheaper energy bills, a BIG thank you!
