JRP electrical just fitted outside ev charger for me, 2 guys arrived on time in a friendly manner went through all options re charger and positioning. Once decided supplied and fitted charger then showed me how to set up with my electric supplier downloaded app explaining how to use it. Brilliant service, my first port of call for any electrical work in future.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring JRP Electrical to upgrade some old LV distribution boards and carry out an Electrical Condition Report. I am beyond impressed with their exceptional service and professionalism. From the initial consultation to the completion of the job, every step was handled with the upmost precision and care. Mark fitted a community defibrillator to our wildlife sanctuary this week. It presented him with a few unanticipated problems due to the property being old which he sorted straight away and did a wonderful job. He even moved a very heavy wardrobe back for me after he had done. Would definitely use this company in the future.

Liam at JRP Electrical installed a Tesla charger for me today. He did a great job; and couldn’t have been more helpful. I supplied the charger but not all the materials needed to meet the regs. Liam sorted it there and then, ordering the part, picking it up and fitting it, so as not to hold up the installation. Highly recommended.

First and foremost with our business, fit outs are never going to be straightforward but with JRP it works. We tell them how it needs to look and what the requirements are and they do it. They take pride in their work as it is always going to be on show to the public who visit us and their work compliments our business. Thank you again for a fantastic fit out.

First and foremost, if you have work done by them, get them to provide a quote that breaks down the amount between parts and labour. After receiving the first quote from them, we were told it was incorrect as it did not include one of the lights originally planned - we had no way of knowing. Then, after we requested an alternation to our job, to change the original idea to move a light to over our side door while wiring a physical hard switch inside - no doubt something that would have taken an hour - and change this light to a smart app switch with the other planned lights outside (no required change/movement to the existing light positions), as well as removing one porch light planned (as the quality of the one they provided was very poor) and sourcing it ourselves, their quote turned out to be £125 more. Not certain how that was possible. Second - do your own homework on using a smart switch app. We decided to update our external lights to a ‘so-called’ smart system - i.e. control them via an app (once connected to the network). Something they could do/offered. We were not warned in advance about the possible issues with this setup. While the electrician completed the actual light installation, I was left to my own devices in terms of connecting the lights to the system. Of the eight lights that we have, only three are properly connected. For the other five, I need to stand directly beside the light with my phone (presumably to add an additional connection via bluetooth or whatever), in order to turn off and on the lights. When you leave that area, the lights go ‘off-line’ on the app, and you have no clue whether they are on or off. When advised that perhaps we needed to add more extenders in our house (to improve the signal), after finally getting to four discs, there has been no improvement. Not certain what was included in the original quote, but delivering on your expectations wasn’t part of that apparently. Third - give up when they pester you to pay the bill even if they have never provided you with the certificate of their work - which was part of the original quote. I hate giving bad reviews, but based on the final results and how our expectations were managed, it was deserved. As I like to say when I see these reviews, don’t bother reading their possible respond after this review, for if they delivered on the goods in the first place, they wouldn’t have needed to do that.

JRP have been incredibly supportive in installing accessible defibrillators around our area and have done so completely free of charge. Their workmanship and professionalism is second to none. We have used JRP many times for electrical works at Great Central Auto, and they have alway been top notch, and aways go above and beyond. Rob, who is are main contact, and he will ensure the the complete process from quotation to installation to done on time and to a high standard. And Lee who is our normal attending Electrian is very knowledgeable and work to a very high standard. No job is to big or too small. And always just a phone call away when needed. JRP the 4th Emergency Service when the light go off. Highly recommended.

I have an issue paying 650-700 pounds to EDF monthly to keep my account at the end of the year closed to 300 in debt. I live in a small flat(me and my wife, no kids), having a tv, refrigerator, hot water for shower, oven, washing machine and dryer (using only night's once a week). Common use for two people.I call them to check my electric line because I am suspicious that my electric cable is connected to other flats around me for that my electric bills since two years are extremely high. The answer of the company at the first call is.... we call you back in a while. They disappeared. I call them again after three days and the answer is we are not allowed to check your line, call your energy provider 😂😂😂.I am electrician but I am from Greece so my lessons is not allowed me to work in UK as electrician and I don't have the tools to do it.Only by given me this answer, from my side (no comment, only 😂😂😂)!!!!Can you trust them???

They did several jobs for me over two days consisting of replacement lighting, outside plugs and an ev charger. The finished work was high quality with all wiring finished neatly, when finished no mess was left and the team we dealt with were friendly and professional. Would use again for any future work

We asked for an Engineer for my Brother in Law as he had lost power. It was just before Christmas and 2 engineers from JRP arrived promptly. As it was an emergency they managed to by pass the fault and said they would come back in the New Year to complete the job. As it was he had power again. He heard nothing all January and at the beginning of February I rang the Company to ask if an engineer could come soon. It transpired that the job had not been logged as one of the engineers who had done the quick repair had left the company. Once it was realised this job was still outstanding we could not have had better service. We were kept up to date with everything that was happening and the job was done quickly. I would definitely recommendJRP Electrical Services for any electrical jobs as they are efficient, courteous and reliable.

JRP recently installed a hybrid system of solar panels and battery storage. Not only were the works done to a great standard, but the information given prior to the installation was invaluable, including payback periods and savings compared to any other investment of my money. The install went ahead as planned / booked and I can now see at times, me feeding energy back to the grid, whilst using what I need at home. Good value, great investment and a top local company to boot.

We had a loose connection on our board that resulted in the buzz bar getting hot and doing some damage to the RCD. They replaced the buzz bar and reinstalled a spare RCD I kept in the garage. They even did an Insulation test at my request. All at 9pm-10:30pm on a monday night during Lockdown. Awesome Service!

So impressed with JRP. Phoned this morning as my oven & hob keep shorting and I had no cooking facilities. Spoke to James, who said he’d have an electrician out in a couple of hours. Lee arrived, suitably kitted out with protective mask. He was great - very polite, identified the problem, explained what he was doing and fixed it. I need to have more work done but at least I could have a hot meal tonight. Great service, quick and friendly. Called JRP for a quote, Mark came round the next day to take all the details. I had a quote that evening and the work was booked for the following week. The electrician arrived at the specified time, got straight to work, did everything needed and hoovered up afterwards even though the room was mid decorating and he didnt need to at all. The job was to wire two brand new pendant lights in a bedroom, so involved working in the loft etc and all the work was done quickly and the end result looks great. Would have no problem recommending them and will be sure to use them again on the next job! Thanks

After seeing an advert from the company in a local publication, we rang them for a quote for a job at our home. No denying very quick attendance and very polite. Sadly, from the point of the man leaving it went downhill rapidly. We eventually received the briefest of quotes, which left us asking a few questions before we committed to anything. No reply except to say they would ring the next day, that never happened nor over the the next two days. After almost 2 weeks since their first visit we have decided that perhaps this may not be the company for us.

JRP subcontracted on the electricals for our extension last year. From start to finish the service felt very personal.Starting with a site visit to talk through our requirements and any tweaks that might be useful to the work done where the lads were very professional and amenable to our whims, to closure of the job and of course sorting out what were just a few snags (which are inevitable on a job of this type).
