Brudenell Hotel, Aldeburgh - Frank and Sophia did a lengthy installation inspection of the entire hotel which took about six weeks. As a former QS at an NICEIC firm, I was able to recognise their excellent technical knowledge and ability. The work was carried out with little inconvenience to us and our guests - this was much appreciated. Their suggestions for improvement were also well received and Sophia in particular created a remarkable impression on several of our guests that commented on her friendly courtesy and knowledgeable interaction with them. The pair of them were an excellent advertisement for your company, not only for their technical ability which was superb but only to be expected of any decent firm but more for their ability to create such a good impression in a public facing environment which was outstanding and much more unusual in my experience. I am head of maintenance here and will be passing on my comments to all concerned.

The engineer Jack who called at my flat twice to install a led light unit in my kitchen and an extractor fan in my bathroom, he completed the work professionally and promptly. I have commend him for his fortitude for going up in my loft on a hot day, he is also a very pleasant chap.

As usual I had fantastic service from CJ Electrical, from discussing the work needed with Alisha in the office, she gave me a clear breakdown of costs, arranged prompt booking of appointment, and I nhave used this company before as they were more than happy to do small electrical jobs for me as I am a disabled widow,. Henry and River came on day and time as promised , and completed all the two items replacement and installations required within the hour. They were polite, engaging and Henry even reset my ansa- phone machine which had started bleeping like mad when he turned power circuit back on. Happy customer and will continue with repeat business as necessary in future. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

I had an issue with my solar panels after a roofer messed them up. I contacted CJ Electrical to check them and refit the panels. They sent Adel to check them and then Dean the following day to refit the panels correctly. They both provided a quality, professional service. Highly recommend

Found this company via Checkatrade, although it was only a small job, they came back quickly, took the trouble to make sure they knew exactly what parts were needed and gave me a quote. They were able to schedule the job in at a decent date and time and completed the work cleanly and effectively. The electrician was polite and friendly and apologized for being a bit late. Subsequently we got the invoice, and a receipt upon payment. They also gave me information on what parts to order next time one of these light fittings went out.

Our Engineer came out swiftly to our emergency call, and was so polite to us and informative. Our problem was solved in less than an hour. The bill was also really reasonable and overall we are very pleased with the service. We wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Diligent workman with flexible attitude

Excellent work carried out called us before needing to do the extra safety work on the property.

I had this company install an EV charger as on the British Gas web site as being an accredited installer for my model the electrician who turned up was very amenable and polite and installed unit but we were unable to test as car was in garage tried to charge the next day and nothing after speaking to British gas I was informed to get electrician back and turned out he had not adjusted the settings correctly it then charged correctly but I have now found that he did not connect unit to wi if this was after another call to British Gas. This I am still trying to get resolved.

Fantastic as always with this company. Out to me within the hour. Lovely staff both on the tools and in the office. Great local company.

Always professional, exceptional service

Really cannot rate CJ high enough. We won't go anywhere else for electrical work. We have a period property and have had loads of electrical issues over the past 6 months. Brendan, Elliot, Ethan and James have been absolute legends and have not only solved some pretty complex issues around the house, but they have all just been really kind and friendly guys who we genuinely enjoy having around. When we had the rep Geoff Reynish visit in 2012 he said we’d get an invertor replacement free after 10years as part of the deal, that was why we chose them. 10 years later after numerous attempts to get an answer they told me this would never have been part of the deal and Geoff no longer works there…..

Awesome service and price

CJ Elect supplied and installed 2 Panasonic split a/c units. Excellent installation. Very clean and tidy and provided some cost saving ideas, accepted by owner. Highly recommend and will use in the future

SOLAR NIGHTMARE This company installed our expensive solar system. The inverter failed after 2 years. I contacted them in May 2021 sending all the information, photos etc. They eventually came on July 30th and were unable to sort out the issue and seemed clueless about how the system they had installed actually worked. They claimed that the inverter needed to be connected to the internet so the manufacturer could sort the problem and this would cost extra. I agreed to pay the extra. I contacted them one month later having heard nothing. No reply. It is now December and nothing has happened. We have not generated solar energy for most of the year. The inverter manufacturer will only go through the installer. So I am stuck in the middle. I am going to have to replace the inverter at my own expense even though it is guaranteed because this company is completely hopeless at responding. Please use somebody else to do your electrical work and save yourself a lot of hassle and further expense.

I have a sola edge system and was recommended to them by sola edge I called and i got a confused reception so she said she will get someone to call that was 5 days ago my inverter not producing just aswell they didnt fit them yes avoid go to east green in Woodbridge

Fantastic service

This firm installed Solar Panels at my property a couple of years ago. Last month, I wasn't sure that they were working properly, so I called and had a very unhelpful lady on the other end of the phone. I imagine that most businesses would welcome the chance to make a service visit, and therefore money. This lady did not volunteer anything. She told me that the Panels don't need servicing (wrong!), and that they "only heat the water" (also wrong). I gave up. The Electrician that I subsequently engaged found that CJ had incorrectly connected the Immersion Heater - it was running continuously, so no wonder that the water was always hot, to say nothing of the size of my Electricity Bill. I won't be using CJ again, and I can't recommend them to anyone.

Good service good product

Very unprofessional company. Always late on site coming sometimes at 8:30. Their electricians are rude and unprofessional when it comes to questions regarding completion date of electrical works. Avoid !!!

conning money making company don't use nasty and uncaring demanding money for a job that was not carried out being threatened to pay for the electrician that likes tea and to talk about what take away he likes done no work at our property and we are being billed money disgusted avoid this place
