Bought an Arlo wired doorbell so that I could could connect to existing chime. Problem not enough volts. Contacted Barton Electrical who came and had a look and sent an engineer at a time to suit and solved the problem. Very satisfied with what they done 👍🏿

Same day service, engineer very thorough, restored power, saving my tropical fish.

Alan arrived as promised...and I mean promptly on the dot at 0800am!! What followed was the most courteous and professional service ever! Not only that but friendly too! The work was carried out safely and all work areas were left clean and tidy. Cowboys and extremely expensive even for simple jobs

I have quite a few electrical problems both indoors and outdoors and in the garage/workshop. Alan turned up and after a quick show around so that he knew where the troubles were he got to work and sorted three very quickly and took details and photos of some others for ordering spares. So far so good, half way through a cart lodge power supply fit, ready for the inevitable electric car. So far they've turned up when they said they would and done what they said they would, and been friendly and pleasant can't ask for much more. I'll let you know how it all turns out

Family run business, friendly and helpful staff.

Really poor. Emailed to no response, emailed again and got a reply. 3 emails later we have finally arranged a visit for 1 weeks time. I wait a week and email on the day asking what time they will be here. I have just been told his car won’t start so won’t be coming. So I’ve just waited over a week when I could have employed a competent electrician to do the job. Waste of everyone’s time.

They have visited our office to carry out Portable Appliance Testing, and operated at events to ensure exhibitors’ electrical equipment is compliant, as well as stepping into the breach to resolve venue supply issues whilst on site. They have also serviced and replaced electrical appliances in our home. A company with old fashioned customer service values but up to date knowledge, who we highly recommended.

Local, reliable, friendly, with prices clearly explained so you know what you are paying for. And they are NICEIC members and Part P registered, so you know they are qualified as electricians.

SNOW HOMES own a number of rented houses which constantly need the services of Barton Electrical. They have been my preferred contractor for many years. Their response time is fantastic - same day for an emergency, or next day for normal call out. Diagnostic problem solving seems to be their speciality. In all a very valuable company to know, always friendly and knowledgeable.

Called Barton a couple of days ago after my wife got a nasty shock from a kitchen light shade in our new house. The engineer attending this morning, identified the problem, and as we were changing the lights in the kitchen anyways, completely removed the fitting and (as a bonus) removed the other kitchen light fitting as well. He also explained which wires we'd need to fit into our new fittings. We are also going to need a new distribution unit, which he is costing up for us, and we will definitely be using Barton. Highly, highly recommend this company. Professional, polite, helpful, and friendly!

It was the day of my fathers funeral and we had the wake being held at my family home. My family had come from all over and the dimmer switch blew out on the morning before I left the house for the service.
