I recently had a Tesla charger installed by Elecology Ltd and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The quoting stage was very efficient and professional, making the whole process straightforward and stress-free. Communication throughout was fantastic, and Sam kept me informed every step of the way. Matt carried out the installation and did an amazing job. The workmanship was extremely neat and tidy, and it was clear he took real pride in the appearance and quality of the installation. He also made sure everything was cleaned up properly afterwards. Kelvin and Meg were incredibly professional and showed great respect for my home. The cleanliness they left behind was the best I’ve ever seen from tradespeople. They were also incredibly polite and arrived early, finishing the job in under two hours.

We had our EV Charger fitted by Elecology. Sam was our initial contact and he kept us informed from start to finish and it was smooth and efficient. Matt the fitter, was very professional in his approach and kept the house inside and out extremely clean and tidy. Our experience with Elecology has been great through the whole process. I am not sure of all the services provided by Elecology but would definitely recommend them for chargers. Overall we are very pleased with the service and work provided by Sam and Matt.

A very professional installation. Dave and Mark arrived before they were due, but politely waited in their vehicles until the agreed time. We wanted the charger installed in our detatched garage, which is some 20m from our fuse box. Dave and Mark took time to consider the best route for the cable and discussed and agreed this with me before proceeding. The groundworks were kept to a minimum and made good afterwards. A pain free experience overall. Would thoroughly recommend.

Elecology fitted our Hypervolt charger last week and it has worked perfectly with charging at fast speeds and works very well with the app. It was fitted within a few hours and very neatly in cable housing inside and discreetly tucked away as possibly outside. We had previously arranged for Eon to do this but the electrician didn't have the knowledge or skills to undertake the job. Elecology make it look very simple and no problem at all due to their obvious knowledge and know how to do such a job. Thanks again for everything and we wish it was this easy to work with others.

Elecology has done a fantastic job installing our EV charger. It was a more complex installation because of the need to get to the basement where there was no clear cable path. But Sam has planned it with us in advance, and on the day everything went very well and the team did a great job!

I needed an EV charger and Ecology gave a very competitive quotation and equally important were able to arrange the installation of an EV charger (of my choice) and a consumer unit within a quick timescale, something other installers were unable to offer. Fantastic company from start to finish - I am very happy with my Tesla Wall Connector installation. Sam was helpful and efficient getting the installation organised and very kindly managed to squeeze the job in before Christmas. Kelvin and Declan arrived when they were expected on the day and were conscientious when considering the different cable route options. It was a tricky install because the electricity meter is under the stairs. We had lifted a floorboard trap on the landing prior to installation and the guys worked as a great team to get the cable rodded under the floor to the outside wall. They tidied up well and even helped to get the trap screwed back down which they didn’t have to. Despite the pouring rain they were able to do a really tidy job and the connector looks fab on the wall. I highly recommend Elecology for a professional wall charger installation.

Elecology installed a Tesla wall charger in my Victorian cottage. In advance of the installation we went through a straightforward remote survey, and my questions were all answered. The engineer was professional and courteous, and did an excellent job. As a new electric vehicle owner, I was a bit apprehensive about installation, but I am happy to say that Elecology guided me through the process with no problems. Highly recommended.

The gentleman who installed our charger was at our home address first thing in the morning as expected and was very friendly. Talked me through everything I needed to know and I was up and running within 2 hours. Highly recommend.

Used Elecology to installed my Hypervolt EV Charger as a recommended installer by Hypervolt themselves. Overall very pleasing experience as they were in-fact cheaper then anyone else for the same unit, was able to change the length of the lead at last minute with no impact to installation date. Discussed the whole installation and placement, plus walkthrough the app and making sure everything was working. Cleaned up and washed everything down before departing.

Installation was done well, at the time arranged. They were able to do it quicker than other firms, which was good. Installer very friendly and professional. My only complaint would be that they unilaterally decided I wanted a white charger and ignored my request for a change in colour and then told me there wasn't time to switch. For a perfect service, they should clean up the dust from drilling, but it was in a garage so a bit of dust is not a major problem.

I had looked around for other companies but they make the whole process confusing (e.g. having to pay before even getting a site survey and then finding you have to pay more if it's a non-standard installation). Had no issues like this with Elecology. I just got in touch, sent them some photos with a couple of options, selected the charger, got a personalised quote. Date was set and I was still able to change the charger I wanted before they arrived. Hardly noticed they were here (electrics were off for 5 mins at most) and job was done to a high standard.

Elecology was truly an amazing company that fitted my Tesla Gen 3 Charging Point. The communication was fantastic and the person that came to install it was lovely and knowledgeable. I was lucky due to the charging point being so close to my electrical board that it only took about an hour and a half (says up to 3 hours). I thought the price was reasonable and fair and I'm very pleased with my charger to go with my Tesla Model Y.

Elecology performed a quick and efficient install of a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro Chrarger. The cable to the mains had already been laid, but unlike other installers Elecology were happy to check out the cable install which they confirmed was entirely suitable. This meant a second unnecessary cable install was not required and the install was able to be completed in under an hour including briefing me on the app and Octopus link. Excellent job

Can’t recommend this friendly family company highly enough. Installing an EV charger in a conservation area, having to navigate planning permission and government grant schemes is a minefield. Sam was clear, helpful and responsive from the start in terms of competitively costing and booking in the work. When David and Mark arrived to do the installation they were friendly, professional to a tee and went out of their way to ensure I was happy with the work. Eg, when I suggested the easiest route to get cabling from our cellar to the charger, David’s response was ‘that might be easiest, but is it going to be the best option for you?’ At his suggestion, the cabling was then laid, totally invisibly under the lawn, taking a lot longer to install, for the same price as originally quoted. We’re thrilled with the finished installation, which is discreet and conveniently located for cross-pavement charging from our front garden.

Discovered this company via Tesla Approved Installers, on that list, this company was the only organisation that answered the telephone. Super polite and helpful throughout. After quick assessment of the property via pictures sent on email, a date was provided for the installation within 2 weeks. The Gentleman who did the installation (Dan) was prompt and on time, extremely efficient in his work, and guided me through the whole process with regards to charging, and the set up of the mobile app with a detailed explanation of all it’s functions. Top quality service and really helpful.

Professional attitude throughout the process. Quote was simple and easy to understand. In terms of price most providers are in the same ball park, although some were quite a bit more expensive, but the key difference was that no payment was required upfront. Installer turned up on time on the stated date which was roughly 3 weeks after go ahead was given. I was kept informed throughout the installation process and was happy with the end result. Invoice was provided only after completion of all works.

We have recently had a Hypervolt Home Pro EV charger fitted by Elecology and would definitely recommend them. Sam was very helpful and responsive with the initial questions and obtaining the quote. Fantastic experience with Elecology who fitted our EV Charger. We had already purchased a charger (Simpson & Partners) and Elecology were recommended as an installer. Would definitely use them again! The booking/planning process with Sam was easy and efficient, with a customised detailed quote/plan provided after I'd submitted some pictures of the fuse board, siting plan, etc. On the day Kelvin our installer did an amazing job. He arrived on time, very polite, friendly and efficient. Took time to discuss the charger placement with us and recommend a better placement than we had originally planned (so glad we took his advice!). During the install he made sure it was extremely neat both in the charger placement, cable placement and with the fuse board work. Afterwards he tidied up completely, and helped with the control app setup. Following the install, the DNO notification, EIC and other documents have all started to arrive as they are processed. The team were on time, and personable. They persevered with finding a conduit that the developers had buried underneath brick and tarmac, and wasn't in the place it was supposed to be. They then positioned the post exactly where we wanted and replaced the brickwork so that you can't tell it was lifted. Very pleased with the end result.

Absolutely perfect company. With polite staff and engineers. Had an Hypervolt EV charger installed at the house. The two engineers took less than an hour and a half from arrival to completion. Walked us through what works was done. Walked us through the setup of the app. Walked us through how to use the charger. At the end they asked "Any questions for us?" Normally I would have 101 questions but I simply said "Nope" as everything was shown and explained to me so informatively. Would 100% recommend Elecology to all!!!

Got a Hypervolt charger installed by Electrology. All went smooth, engineers were very careful and managed to work with the limitations of our cable route. They avoided drilling additional holes which was really welcome reducing the need for touch ups. We had the Easee one installed by elecology and the service was brilliant from initial contact through to installation. Easy to book, with a survey completed with photos. Any questions I had Sam was available on the phone or emailed back quickly. The installer on the day was efficient and tidy and it looks great.

Cracking job by the two lads today. Hypervolt quickly and tidily installed, with a demonstration provided. Looks really sharp and tidy, and the service and installation was as good as I could have asked for! 10m cable is a key reason for this charger, but the app looks good and easy to use - all in great experience of product as well as the service provided by Elecology.

Truly awful. Elecology fitted an EV Charger at my home in May 2024. It worked once before showing a serious fault. It is now September and the issue has still not been fixed. Elecology were supposed to visit this morning between 9am-10am and are a no show. There has been no communication from Elecology to explain the delay or no show. I have attempted to contact Elecology without success. The overall post-sales customer service is awful.

I dealt with Sam throughout the process of getting our wall charger/connector fitted; not only were they very competitive, but also very easy to deal with offering very prompt replies to all my queries. Neat and trouble free installation.

I dealt with Sam on initial contact after finding Elecology on the MyEnergi website, Sam was incredibly knowledgeable and we discussed our requirements over email and by sharing photos. We already knew we wanted a MyEnergi Zappi installed as our EV Charger, and installation was arranged on a mutually agreeable date. Dave the installer was fantastic, having shown him where our meter cupboard was, and the installation location, he talked me through the install and also suggested a better way to route the cable to make for a tidier installation. This route made things much cleaner with the cable coming into the rear of the charger. The job was left clean and tidy on completion. I really couldn't be happier with Elecology, from initial contact to installation, nothing was to much trouble and both Sam and Dave were polite and courteous. I would definitely recommend them to friends, family, and anyone reading this review. EDIT - June 2024 We started having an intermittent issue with our system where the RCBO to the charger would trip randomly. Sam has been fantastic and has worked with myself and MyEnergi to find a solution. The RCBO has now been replaced and i hope the problem is now fixed. We had Dan visit for these works who was also fantastic, helpful and friendly. The customer service from Elecology has been fantastic throughout this journey, i cant recommend them enough.

Had a Hypervolt Home 3 Pro with a 10m cable installed a few weeks ago and I'm very impressed so far. Kelvin did a really great job, arriving on time and was in and out within 2 hours, doing a very neat job. Also surge protection is apparently installed by default so this was a pleasant surprise. The device looks and works really well! Sam was great with post-sales advice too.

Elecology fitted the EV charger to a very high standard. The cable and drilling was done to perfection and as a result the job looks brilliant. Back office team is also great and the quote was compatative. I would reccomend Elecology as they know what they are doing.

Sam and his team installed an EV charger for us. These guys know what they are doing. Our installation was tricky due to the position of the electricity main supply. From the beginning they were asking accurate questions to try to find a good solution. On the installation day David spent about half hour to investigate and find optimal cable rout. Shows they truly care. Very good quality and clean installation. They also fixed a small electrical problem at our house for no extra charge. I fully recommend them.

I had my Hypervolt charger installed this week by Elecology, and really happy with it so far. It does what it says on the tin i.e. charges my car and schedules it at off peak rates and as I need to. And it looks smart! App is easy to use, had a small glitch initially during testing immediately after the install but quickly fixed by flicking the Amperage setting down and back to 32A by the installer. Yet to find other issues. My install was relatively straight forward, and charger was installed in around 3 hours. Really happy with Elecology. They were professional, friendly and paid good attention to detail.

Customer service was amazing, answered any questions promptly. Offered an install date within 10 days, showed up early on the day of the install, were very professional, clean and polite. Completed install within 90mins or so. Set up the app for me and showed me how to use it and made sure I was happy with everything before leaving. It's very tidy looking, Dan was very pleasant and the overall preinstallation service to get it booked in was pretty straightforward and well communicated by Sam. We had 1 issue where the unit wouldn't connect to the Home WiFi upon completion and Dan wasn't able to resolve this for us but other than that everything was perfect. Would recommend!

Basing this review solely on experience of the installation of my Hypervolt Pro 3 Charger as my vehicle is yet to arrive so cant really comment on performance. Sparks from Elecology Dave & Declan (Apprentice) arrived bang on time, polite and friendly on arrival talking through the installation. Installed as requested and talked through the app at the end. Job took 2.5hrs start to finish between them both, clean and tidy install with no mess or rubbish left behind and it looks great. TOP JOB!

Great install, very tidy and took a route which required the minimum amount of carpet pulled up (we were a non-standard install) If you have an unusual route, it helps to have knowledge of where they can run the cable and help provide a plan for them to work with. From the initial quote to having the charger installed Sam made this process very easy. Quote was competitive. After being quoted 6 weeks by Octopus, Elecology had availability within a couple of weeks and helpfully the day after my EV arrived. Process of obtaining a quote and making the booking was very easy. On the day the electrician arrived at the exact time arranged (other trades shiuld take note). Options for fitting the charger and cable were explored. Fitting took no time and afterwards the electrician went through all the things I needed to know in relation to the fuse board and charger. A great service and I would definitely recommend to anyone getting an ev charger installed.

I could not recommend Elecology more highly. They installed an EV Tesla charger for me at my home. 1. I got an immediate response when I enquired. 2. After I supplied Elecology with the information regarding the details of my property, I got a personalised pdf document explaining costs and the plan for the work. 3. As soon as I agreed to go ahead, I was given a quick turnaround date for installation. 4. My partner greeted the engineer and she said he was ‘super helpful, really nice’. He showed her how it all worked and took time to explain. He even completed an application to upgrade our fuse with UK Power networks. 5. When I got home I saw the work and it was excellent. The EV charger was put exactly where we’d asked it to go and there was zero mess. Looks great. 6. Received an invoice after a few days and we knew it was working perfectly. I had a great install experience. Dave arrived bang on 8am and got straight to work. He accommodated my preferred install location and done his best to hide all cables, even after I asked if he was going to use trunking - he insisted that wouldn’t look good and instead used a long drill bit to go through a thick brick wall. I poked out every now and then around my working from home schedule and was very impressed with the progress. A few hours later, Dave had completely packed up and cleaned up everything behind him. Installed a Zappi charger at my home. It was a bit of an awkward install, but they were brilliant throughout the planning and the installation itself. We're very happy.

Had a Zappi EV charger installed, along with a Harvi. Booking the installation date was painless. The electrician, Dan, turned up at the time provided, talked through the installation, which was exactly as I envisaged and proceeded to carry out the works - all completed in little over 2 hours. Dan then went through the charger and the app with me, being able to answer all of my questions (as well as giving a couple of tips). He was very knowledgeable and a good laugh and thanked me numerous times for supplying him with coffee. Would highly recommend this organisation for the fitment of EV chargers.

Recieved a great quote from Elecology to install an Ohme Pro charger, had great communication with Sam who kept me up to date with the process, they booked to install 2 weeks from making the decision. The guys that showed up knew what they were doing and talked me through all my options, and were happy to oblige and questions I had. Install was swift and the power was out for only 5 mins, they gave plenty of notice of when the power was going off so it wasn't a shock. Talked me through the charger and the phone app and have had no issues whatsoever. Would heartily recommend.

Had a Hypervolt charger installed a month ago. Very impressed with service from Elecology. Quick responses to emails, answered all of my questions, and it was easy to make some changes to my initial order. Installation couldn't have been smoother. Engineer fitted the charger and had my car plugged in and charging in less than 2 hours, including taking the time to explain to me what all of the individual components being installed were and what they did. Very tidy and neat installation. They made sure that I had the app working, showed me all of its functions, and filled in and sent off the warranty paperwork before leaving. The engineers turned up on Time. They had good knowledge of the installation they were fitting . They worked swiftly and professionally, explaining every step of the process. They also set up the tech side of the charger, enabling me to actually use it! They left the property clean and tidy and offered future help to trouble shoot any problems.

I have had three visits from Elecology in the past 9 months (initial install of car charger then 9 months later due to house move, removal of car charger then a week later installation at my new property). Just had a Hypervolt EV charger installed by Elecology. I have to say this is one of the most professional companies I’ve ever dealt with. Sam walked me through the planning process for the charger and explained what the installation would entail and look like upon completion. I had to move the installation date around a few times due to work commitments which Sam kindly accommodated without any issue. On the day of installation Luke & Declan turned up promptly and explained what there were going to do. The installation was quick at around 2.5 hours and only required the power to be switched off for around 20 minutes. Upon completing of the job they cleaned up and showed me what had done. Luke ran through the Hypervolt App with me and ensured I was completely satisfied before they left. I would totally recommend Elecology without hesitation to anyone needing an EV charger installed.

We had a number of quotes for EV charger installs. Elecology were suggested by Hypervolt, for install of our Hypervolt and their quote was relatively competitive. My communications with Sam were also great and he was more than happy to answer my queries and was very helpful. We agreed a quote and fitting date was agreed. The Elecology engineer was on time early on our install date and he was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. His work was tidy and clean, and he cleared up after himself well. He was also helpful with our needs to get our fuse upgraded to 80amps and completed the survey and photos as requested by the GRID. Sam was then helpful by expediting our request through Elecology admin process. I have waited until we got our car and used the charger before reviewing as I wanted to be sure everything was working okay with the car (I was confident it would, as the engineer tested it all before finalizing the install). I have to say that I am very happy with the service and cost that Elecology provided. I would Highly recommend them!

My experience of Elecology was exceptional from start to finish. I sent lots of questions over to Sam H and he replied quickly, politely and offered excellent advice. The quotation process was simple and the installation date was within a reasonable period and completed by a very experienced, friendly but professional installer (Daniel). Prior to installing, Daniel double checked my preferred installation position and routed the cabling extremely neatly. Another major advantage of Elecology is that they accept the OZEV government vouchers which saved us £350 off the socket. I am so pleased we went with these guys and thoroughly recommend them.

Really pleased with the service from Elecology. We had our Ohme installed 18 months ago which went really well, although we needed a GARO installed as we had a Zoe at the time (didn't play well with the earth rod). Although the Ohme has been fine, the GARO had a fault. Sam never quibbled and had an engineer out wihtin a few days to replace it. When the next one failed a year later, again they came out, free of charge and installed an earth rod, after which everything has been working perfectly. They never argued, and despite me offering to pay for the follow-up earth rod install, they never took a penny more than the original installation. Can't fault them.

Dealt with Sam over email who was friendly and helpful to get booked in. Dan on the day was also great and installed the charger without hassle and with minimal power down time! Would highly recommend for EV points and other work!

The experience has been fantastic, from the initial info and some pictures of my fuse box and where I wanted the EV charger through to the installation by Luke who turned up when he said he would and completed the job in under an hour. Highly recommend Elecology.

I used Elecology to fit a Zappi charger. I’d definitely use this company again. There was good communication in advance of the work taking place; Luke arrived exactly on time and he did a professional job of running the cables and fitting the charger.

Elecology installed a zappi car charger, my installer David did an amazing job getting the cable to go underneath the joists of the house so the cable could be connected to my meter located under the stairs. I also had no idea how nifty the myenergi ecosystem is and will look to get solar and battery storage sometime in the future. I got quotes from many companies, with quite a few insisting on me getting a third party tradesmen to fish rods from the front of the house to the meter as they didn't do this due to insurance reasons. Elecology couldn't promise me a route could be found but said they would do everything they can to try. David tried and succeeded! Thanks Elecology for making me a very happy customer after a recent bad experience with roofers. I thoroughly recommend Elecology, if only they also did solar and home battery installs ;).

I was directed to Elecology by MyEnergi when I requested a quote for a Zappi EV charger and got a very prompt and professional response. After supplying them with some additional information, I got a thorough quote and work proposal that detailed what I could expect on the day of the installation, the anticipated costs, and some options to consider. The installation was completed on the scheduled day and at the time that was promised and the service was very friendly and helpful, with the electrician giving me a full explanation of the product and assisted me with setting up the app. I had previously had cable run when getting some building work done, so this simplified the installation, but I am really happy with the result, which is very neat and tidy.

The guys at Elecology installed an Ohme charger at my house in East Sussex, which is pretty isolated and way off the beaten track. Sam was wonderfully helpful throughout the survey process and in relation to setting the installation up (and also assisted with information regarding potential available grants). The installation itself was punctually, speedily, and neatly executed by a team of really nice guys - and required a trench to be dug out for the cable - which was expertly refilled and left practically invisible. Plenty of time was allowed for demonstrating and explaining the function of the device itself. Overall, an excellent experience. Would recommend 100%.

One word: Exemplary! If your looking for old fashioned customer service with a level of care and attentiveness unmatched then these are the guys to go for!! The communication was some of the best I’ve ever received and the gentleman who came to my address were courteous, polite and super friendly. Even the dogs loved them!! The workmanship is Superb it wasn’t the easiest of installations but they didn’t murmur just worked it out and completed it! Don’t waste your time with trying other companies just have a chat with Sam and you’ll be sorted in no time!

Elecology supplied and installed my Zappi a year ago and I can testify of the quality of the work done. Not only was it executed professionally but the Team’s diligent follow-up policy means they would talk to you through any later concerns. As the photo shows, I added a wall socket for emergency charging just in case the Zappi is out of order. But the EV charger has so far worked perfectly well. Ali A.
