Really recommend Evolution Electrical. Needed an electric performance certificate (EICR) prior to moving house and they were fantastic. Responded quickly and efficiently, arranged to complete the work at a time convenient to me, and I felt the work was done to a high standard. Kept me informed of what was being done/what needed doing, and what the cost would be. Everyone I dealt with was warm, friendly, and professional. Would definitely use again for electrical work.

Very smooth and professional service

I cannot recommend Evolution Electrical enough. James and the team were the perfect professionals, from the initial visit and quote through to the completion of works. Their communication was excellent – whether from quick responses to initial emails; asking us questions that we hadn’t thought about when James came around to quote; or on the day itself when minor changes were needed to plans as a result of the existing wiring. The work itself is impeccable - they kept any drilling/plaster removal to a minimum when moving lights/sockets around, and fixed areas where drilling was needed. We’ll need some more work soon, and will not hesitate to use Evolution Electrical again!

Absolutely brilliant service! James came round quickly to give us a quote and Matt and the his apprentice (sorry I can't remember your name) came round to install an EV point for our car. So friendly and utterly considerate. They had to remove a cable from the wall and redirect it and it pulled a little bit of plaster off the wall. They repaired it for us and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!!

Brilliant service from James and Matt! Replaced a few sockets with USB sockets and installed Ring doorbell. The latter job was exceptional as I had anticipated some wiring would be on show but they did it very cleverly so no wires were visible. I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to James and Matt for doing the most excellent job fitting a new distribution board and for getting a power supply to our garage which we are converting into a gym. I was so nervous when they first came over to estimate as everything in our house installed by previous owners has caused us so many issues and I thought this project would be no different. James and the team automatically put me at ease and whilst the job was certainly wasn’t simple they explained everything in detail that they would need to do and gave me assurances that whilst cables needed to run through the whole house nothing would be seen and no trace would be left from the works they did. They were immediately in touch with a comprehensive and fair estimate in writing and we got a date booked in the diary for the project to be completed. The team were absolutely true to their word and throughout the project were incredibly professional, punctual, and polite and I couldn’t fault them on their neatness- you never would have known they were there. There was a small issue with some of the previous wiring which they solved and put correct straight away for us so they definitely went above and beyond. The products they used were great quality and the overall finish with the lighting and power in the gym looks sleek and polished. We really are so pleased with the work they did and we will certainly be using them for all the other electrical work in our house and will definitely be recommending to them to friends and family.

James and Matt have completely rewired our bungalow, relocated the main board, replaced every cable, switch and socket, hardwired internet to several rooms, relocated the sky cable, added power to the garden, installed internal and external lights, fans etc. Their work is clean and tidy and both are extremely professional whilst being personable with it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I found Evolution Electric via a Facebook recommendation. We had a fault on our living room lights. The team were very responsive and came and made the lighting safe promptly and returned a week later to replace them with LED spotlights. They were tidy and efficient as well as good value .Easy to organise over what’s app and friendly. Bypassed a boiler two port valve that the boiler man missed

I asked Evolution Electrical to do some work for my 87 year old Mum. I couldn't let her comments go without putting them on here as it's always so nice to find tradesman that you can trust. It's all done now. They made a great job of it and we're very helpful and friendly. I am very pleased with it and they moved the pond power point to a much more sensible place. They did a great job.

James and Matt were brilliant. They were very reasonably priced, could do the work shortly after I contacted them and were a pleasure to have in the property- going above and beyond to be helpful. Worth contacting if you need any electric work done.

First class outfit. We had Evolution in to do a big networking installation that including running CAT 6 through our new house, installing a number of ceiling-mounted WiFi hot spots, and putting in security cameras and a video doorbell (all from UniFi). The quality of work was excellent, and I was genuinely surprised how good the making good was - they had to make some pretty gnarly holes to get cabling through some spots, but you could barely notice them once they'd patched everything up. Also just really nice chaps - they were in the house for 2.5 days and it didn't feel at all intrusive or disruptive. 10/10, will definitely call them in again at some point.

I used Evolution Electrical and Property Development Ltd early in 2022 for some domestic electrical work. I had a couple of local well rated electricians come to quote for a collection of various small works that we needed doing at our new home including replacing a bathroom extract fan replacement, smart smoke alarm and video doorbell installation as well as an EICR and a slightly more awkward job of routing several data cables from the loft into an upstairs cupboard. From the first contact I had with Matt and James they were highly responsive, helpful and showed a positive problem solving attitude which was refreshing and not something I got from some of the others I’d contacted while trying to find someone to do the work. We made an appointment for Matt to come and take a look at what needing doing so that a quote could be provided and during his visit I again got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and they could find solutions for the work that needed to be done. I received a quote shortly after and decided to go ahead. The team arranged to fit in one of the more urgent jobs at short notice which was greatly appreciated. They then returned to do the rest of the less critical work a couple of weeks later and they again arrived promptly when they said they would. They were respectful of our home and carried out all the work and again always with a great can do attitude even though I made things tricky for them with mistakes in my planning for the data cable runs! Everything was completed quickly and to a high standard. The team were very helpful and communicative throughout the process and made me feel confident in the work being done. I’ll definitely be using Matt and James again for future work. Thanks you for all your help!

Very impressed with the service I received. I found them while trying to sort out an electric boiler installation, they then proceeded to help me with all the electrical work in my house. Including a new fuse box and countless other jobs to make the electrical safe again. It was a multistage job and they were never holding up progress.
