Old Town Electrical Ltd is often described as a friendly, family-run garage, with several reviewers praising helpful staff and good service. Some reviewers report being happy with the price, and one says the work was done well before the expected time. One reviewer describes poor communication and work being done without consent, with the car returned with a poorly covered repair, while another reports a disappointing experience with no apology for mistakes that caused a breakdown. A further reviewer says their car was not sprayed as agreed and the door was not properly reassembled.
After getting many quotes for my car, these guys always come out cheapest. Excellent service, I no longer shop around.
Was Really pleased with the service and price, defernetly will use them again.
Had my car serviced today, good communication and fantastic customer service, thankyou thankyou thankyou! 😊
They cut parts of my chassie out without telling me, then re welding it and covered it up poorly without using the proroper paint and colour. The communication was unbelievably bad. The time scale was months. And then did work, I asked them not to do and charged me more without telling the price until it was time to pick up the vehicle. Also, they like to self review to get the ratings up. 🙄 over all experience was the worst I've had and would avoid them.
Amazing family run garage, amazing people. Along with adorable dogs. Top customer service and prices !!
Very knowledgeable people and always ready to help
Always friendly helpful and will try to accommodate any issues you might have and have never felt overcharged a real local family business that has been going for years and three generations will be there for years to come thank you all for all your help over the last 30 years
Excellent very professional
Very disappointing experience and terrible customer service. No apology or accountability for mistakes made which caused me to break down and too long taken for the problem to be resolved with no real explanation of what had happened. Awful communication and outright lies about what was happening with my car. Will be reporting to trading standards.
First time I have been here, fabulous service and to a very high standard. Completed well before expected time frame.
Always helpful always there when you need them.
Great family run business with old fashioned values. Totally recommend
They told me they needed my car for two days to swap parts from the crash-dented door to a 2nd-hand un-dented one and re-spray to colour-match the paint. They spent one afternoon of the second day swapping the parts and installing the door and were THEN going to spray it. I found out only because I went in at 4pm wondering where my car had got to. They also hadn't properly put the door back together or re-set the auto windows. Absolute cowboys and liars, avoid like the plague.
Excellent workmanship from this family business. Exceptionally friendly staff, they couldn't do more to help and reassure you. Dents fixed, car resprayed. Work took a little longer than planned, but car came back looking like new. Will definitely recommend. Huge thanks to the team.
