Gareth was fantastic - travelled down to Bristol for 3 days and worked methodically, calmly and efficiently through a range of tricky jobs (new sockets, switches, moving lights, wiring in D-MHVR units, fitting an oven etc), which meant pulling up floorboards, getting into the attic, balancing on ladders.. and has completely transformed the place. He fitted this in at short notice and did everything to a high standard, with no fuss. I would 100% recommend him. Thank you very much!

Gareth did a great job on several different bits of electrical work I needed doing around my house - Replacing a very outdated consumer unit, doing an EICR and changing several spotlights and some under cabinet lights to be LEDs. It was all done very quickly and efficiently and for a very reasonable price.

Gareth visited my home & was very informal about the work being carried out & was also prompt & quick doing the jobs asked also fitted a new halogen kitchen light which he recommended instead of repairing the old strip light. Would definitely recommend!👍

Gareth has been instrumental for us getting our house set up with modern fixings and was responsible for a full rewire when we undertook our full house renovation in early 2024. Since then whenever we have needed something added or moved we always contact him as we know he will do a great job. Most recently Gareth came back this weekend at very short notice in order to move some sockets in our bedroom to allow built in wardrobes to be fitted the next day. This was a massive help and above the call of duty in order to have it ready for us in time. Would highly recommend.

Gareth came out on a Saturday as our downstairs sockets suddenly stopped working after a faulty toaster tripped the circuit. He was really thorough checking everything and quickly fixed the loose wire causing the issue. Gareth was very polite and we will definitely use Betelec again in the future. Thank you so much 😊

Excellent work did both first fix and final fix both done super fast, clean tidy no messing about! Repaid response time in terms of questions, eicr sent over right after completion. Added some fancy lights that we wouldn't have thought of and just gets the job done! Used them twice now for garage conversion and full house rewire. Will only use Gareth and team going forward. Professional helpful and competitive prices would recommend

Gareth and his apprentice Josh came with an excellent recommendation and I have to say the work they did installing a 20 Amp supply from the house to the heated swimming pool and wiring in the airsource heat pump was first rate and very tidy. Gareth and his team recently did some electrical work at our home. They were incredibly professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The work we had done was varied and included fitting a new extractor fan, changing ceiling spot lights, removing a live cable from our wall and replacing the timer on our boiler. All work was done to a high standard and Gareth took extra time to explain the buttonology and workings of the new extractor fan. Contacted Betelec for a full rewire and board change through a Facebook recommendation, received a reply from Gareth within 15 minutes and arranged to come for a quote that afternoon as he was out quoting already, I then received a full quote within 2 days. Gareth was really friendly, turned up when he said he would and communicated consistently, nothing was too much of a problem and no question was made to feel like a stupid one. We had no cooker feed in the kitchen which he came in and wired up before Christmas with the rest of the works taking place in January. Again this was no problem but made a massive difference to our situation and the fact we then had a working kitchen. The rest of the works were carried out ahead of schedule and were both neat and tidy as well. Could not be happier with the work, would recommend to all friends and family.

Gareth did a great job with a complex 3-phase EV charger installation. Thought around a number of challenges to get to a cheaper and better job and took care running cables through our listed cottage. The unit itself developed a fault a while later and Gareth didn’t hesitate to return and fault find, and again to reinstall a replacement unit. Will use again.

Gareth did an excellent job fitting my new ceiling & wall lights & also replacing all my sockets & light switches with new brushed chrome ones. I have to say that Gareth went the extra mile to complete the job as one of the light switches did not work which meant that he had to come back.
