Outstanding Service from Kieran and his team. Installed our electrics with a new kitchen. Fitted lights under the quartz worktop and lights under the cabinets. A challenging project but nothing to small for Kieran. Even when we faced issues he always had a solution and troubleshooted with great customer service. Kieran keeps in touch and is only a call away if there are any problems. We are using Kieran for more work around the house. Thoroughly recommend.

Our air.con installer suggested this DLB Electrical for certificated electrical work. We were very impressed with the efficiency and the positive response from the company after our first telephone enquiry. We received an email offering a list of dates and times for a site survey. We chose a date, replied and Rhys arrived punctually to carry out the survey. An email followed confirming the date of installation. On the appointed day the a/c company arrived, swiftly followed by the electrician from DLB. The work was completed swiftly, accurately with minimum of fuss and disruption to the household. The running of cables was neat and cleanly done, all dust and debris from drilling was cleaned up before the electrician left. The charge for the services was very reasonable for the work carried out. Only smallest of niggles - we were not offered a choice of location for the large wall mounted on/off switch, near to the a/c machine. With such clean and efficient technicians, we would be happy to used DLB Electrical again, for any more electrical installation work in the future.

Excellent service from start to finish. We recently had a new three-phase distribution unit installed as part of the electrical upgrades at our restaurant, and the workmanship was outstanding. The team were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. It was clear they take real pride in their work and put safety first throughout the project. DLB fitted a new consumer unit having carried out an electrical survey. I would highly recommend for their efficient and friendly service.

Overall, my experience with DLB Electricians was average, with a few areas that could be improved. Their pricing is higher compared to other competitors, which is understandable if it reflects a higher quality of service. However, in my case, I did not feel that the quality fully matched the cost. The plumbing work was completed to a fantastic standard, and I was very impressed with the end result. The electrical work was underwhelming, and dust sheets could have been used. My main concerns was the cost and quality of the work. The gentleman completed an additional job, starting which was greatly appreciated. However, the light was fitted upside down, though we decided it was acceptable, just again attention to detail. Additionally, the finished sockets had noticeably large gaps between them (see images), overall finish and we found partially poor as other suppliers we've worked with have managed to create acceptable socket holes with no gaps. I also understand chasing holes and chips are part of the process so I am not referring to this. However, based on this experience, the electrical work felt overpriced and below the standard I would have expected for the cost. I have since liaised with the owner, whose confirmed that the photos provided is standard and that the gaps between new sockets are normal highlighting the quality to expect.

Engineer arrived on time to resurrect my dead heating system. Work is ongoing, but engineer got us functioning CH & HW in a very short time. We're very impressed.

Happy to recommend without reservation. The work carried for us (replacing a faulty RCD) was done professionally and at a fair price. Great customer service and nice people to deal with.

They were very slow to respond to my initial request asking for a quote. After a bit of chasing a date was booked in. The electrician who arrived had not been told the security light needed fitting so then needed to go out again to get one. This wasted unnecessary time. No estimate was also provided of how much the work would cost despite requesting one and being told the electrician would be able to tel us on the day so we had to proceed without actually knowing how much it would cost. On a positive note, the electrician turned up when he said he would and was friendly. Unfortunately he left a bit of mess in the area the extractor fan was replaced as he had fitted it without checking the size was correct first. I appreciated the fact that they were trying to complete all the jobs in one visit and the extractor fan replacement was a last minute job I had asked them to look at an hour before he arrived but it would have been better if a quote would have been provided first and the correct size fan put in at a later date. The electrician also arrived with no ladders or dustpan and brush and this had to be provided by the customer which I found unusual. I would have given a 4 star review had it not been for the above few issues.

We booked DLB Electrical Services Ltd to carry out an EICR on our property prior to its sale and have nothing but praise for them. Everyone we dealt with has been friendly, helpful and professional. The initial booking was handled very efficiently and the two electricians who visited to carry out the actual EICR arrived exactly when they said, tidied up after themselves and took time to explain their findings and answer any questions afterwards. The report came out just two days later and we've already booked them again to carry out the required remedial work. The five stars are well deserved!

Excellent customer service and installation

We’re tenants and our letting agency uses them frequently. We have had a number of issues with our immersion heater over the last 4/5 years and each time an engineer has come out they’ve educated us about how it works, how best to use it and how to improve efficiency. Even when they were called out for a recurring issue they treated it seriously and have supported us in getting a more modern immersion heater installed. Always excellent service, courteous staff and great communication via telephone and e-mail. Will definitely be using them when we move into our new home (if they do domestic calls). Cheers Lads!

We had an electrical fault in November and fortunately found this company via Google. Such efficiency and service rare these days. Fast response and calm and diligent service by Andy eventually finding the fault - a secondary fuse box in attic had blown. Andy went back to HQ for spare part and problem solved.

Absolutely brilliant, we have been through many electricians over the last few years and never found one that did the job well. DLB Electrical were amazing, from the initial visit, the reasonable quote, the communication from the office and confirmation of the appointment to the electrician that undertook the work. The quality of the work was brilliant and the electrician polite, professional and friendly. They did a variety of not so glamorous jobs around the house for us inculding a lot of work in the loft and tidying up the consumer unit mess left by a previous sparky. Brilliant from start to finish, couldn't recommend them highly enough.

DLB installed a PIV and bathroom fan and I am happy with this aspect of their work. However, they also installed a cooker hood and have left the wall in a poor state, seemingly having drilled twice. It now falls to me to 'make good' their mess.

Light fixture replacement and new LED tube in my kitchen. The team back at base answered the phone quickly and were very helpful, job was booked in on the initial call. On the day Dan called to let me know he was on way (was actually about an hour earlier than expected) and replaced the fitting and tube quickly and efficiently. All was as expected from beginning to end, very happy and will be contacting DLB next time I have electrical work which needs doing. I was happy with the price, which was comparable with the people who previously changed the original tube for me.

Connected our garden office building to the mains - Professional throughout, I’d use them again.

I called DLB after we lost power upstairs and normal 'flick the switch on the fuse board' didn't work. They couldn't get anyone out to us quickly so the Office Manager, Jack, talked me through resetting the electrics on the fuse board over the phone. He was so clear and helpful and patient - so our problem was fixed over the phone and without charge. Will definitely call DLB for any electrical work in future. Thank you!

A big thank you to Lesley from DLB Electrics. I’d called various electricians trying to get some work done on my mother in laws house while we were caring for her. Lesley answered the phone at DLB electrics and was very professional and kind trying to book work in that would suit us. It was a difficult time in our lives and Lesley’s professional and gentle handling of the call really meant a lot to us at the time. I came right back to DLB to book in a re-wire of the house after my mother in law passed away knowing that the call would be handled kindly and professionally to book in the work. We then met with Dan to talk through what we wanted and we feel very much in safe hands for the work.

As part of a tenancy agreement, DLB performed a Gas Safety Test. The attending engineer was very efficient, polite and a credit to the company.

Very professional outfit. They came around to check some faults and I asked them to do a survey also at a later date, which they have done. All promises met, on time and professionally. They don’t overcharge either, very reasonable pricing. I have asked them to come back and make good the issues found in the survey. I've used DLB twice and I can guarantee that I will be using them again! On both occasions each electrician arrived on time, with tools and full uniform. This and they knew exactly what they were there for, clearly showing company-wide communication, puts me at ease! Both sets of work were completed in approximately two hours and the invoices were sent to me via email within 24 hours. Overall an efficient service and deserving of more than five stars!

From the first enquiry and visit to our house to discuss some dated wiring in our 4/5 bedroomed house Dan couldn’t have been more professional or friendly. The advise he gave after reviewing the electrical test results I showed him was a great help. Dan was always quick to reply to questions or queries both before or whilst the rewire work was being carried out. A most impressive and professional firm. I dealt with Dan, the founder, and received top drawer prompt service. To top matters he came out right at the end of the day to sort out a problem before darkness set in. And sorted the problem, returning three days later as promised and completing the work in less time than he estimated. Highly recommend

I must commend Daniel for amazing service on Easter Sunday 2020. I had an electrical issue that caused the alarm to sound off much to the annoyance of the local neighbours. Incredibly, Daniel went and sorted out the problem personally within 90 minutes of my plea for help.
