Reviewers of B - Lectric consistently report friendly, professional service from Barry, with many describing him as punctual, tidy and easy to communicate with. Several customers say he explained the work clearly and kept them informed, and repeat business is common across the reviews. Workmanship is repeatedly described as neat and to a high standard, covering everything from lighting upgrades and rewiring to an extractor fan repair and a garage power feed. One reviewer said a ceiling fan another electrician could not fit was put up without trouble, and another reported an accurate quote and a certificate provided promptly. No negative points are raised in the supplied reviews.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another fantastic job from Barry at B-Electric — honestly, I don’t know how he keeps doing it! This time Barry completely transformed our lighting, replacing all our ceiling lights with modern, up-to-date fittings, and upgraded all our smoke detectors to the latest ones with 10-year batteries. He also ran power down to our cabin and installed new power points and lighting, all to a really modern design. The result is absolutely brilliant — the cabin now looks like a spaceship! 😂 It’s so good, and it has completely transformed the space. We absolutely love it. As always, Barry was hardworking, meticulous and took the time to make sure everything was exactly right. He clearly takes pride in his work and it shows. We originally found B-Electric through Checkatrade, and after several jobs now, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Barry to anyone. Fantastic work from a genuinely great tradesman — we wouldn’t use anyone else.
Barry has done a few jobs for us now, the latest being replacing some lights and moving our boiler onto a spur. He's friendly, efficient and clean, keeping us informed of everything we needed to know. Highly recommend and will use B-lectric again.
Barry Smyth from B-Lectric replaced and upgraded a faulty power feed to our external Garage, and the service was EXCELLENT throughout. As a qualified NICEIC electrician, he completed the work professionally, left the area clean and tidy, and fully tested the installation. I am very pleased with the results and would happily recommend Barry to others. He will be my first choice for any future electrical work, large or small.
Highly recommend! Barry is a highly experienced electrician. Professional, friendly and efficient! Barry managed to put up a ceiling fan that a previous electrician couldn't put up so we got him round again to put up a chandelier for us. Again, a great job done at a reasonable price. Will use Barry for any future jobs and I have recommended him to others. Thanks again!

So pleased I did, Barry was super helpful in figuring out the problem prior so were fully equipped when repairing. Very friendly, responsible and easy to arrange, he did a great job. Will be back for anything else that crops up! Highly recommend.
