Excellent and efficient service by Sam! Sam is a friendly and extremely efficient electrician. It was easy to set up an appointment and he was able to do the work at a convenient day and time. He wired 2 lounge ceiling lights and fitted the lights very well, no mess afterwards and the job was done within the hour at a very reasonable price. I’d highly recommend peacock electrical, I’ll be using them again in the future.

Sam recently came out to diagnose an issue with my EV charger. He quickly identified the problem and clearly explained what was causing it, as well as the options for getting it fixed. We’ve now got another visit booked in to have everything resolved. Friendly, professional service throughout, I’d happily recommend him.

We had a new kitchen fitted that required a lot of small jobs. New spot lights, sockets moving, oven connection points and so on. Sam was really helpful with his advice and flexibility on visits. There was a faulty light switch which he replaced within a day or two, fitting in with our timetable. The cost for all of the jobs was. Very, very reasonable. Will I use Peacock Electrical? A big YES. He turned up on time, did what was required in a very professional maner. It's what we all want a good job done without any drama or hassle.

He even temporarily removed a kitchen cabinet to route the wiring properly rather than taking an easier shortcut. Sam Peacock of Peacock Electricals has been very reliable over three visits to my home (a late 16th century listed cottage with electrical circuits fitted when plugs with circular pins were still in use) to deal with three different electrical problems. He does a good clean job and charges a fair price. He also has a very good set up with a real person taking his messages when he is not available. I will be using him again when needed.

I needed to replace my old Bakelite fusebox with something meeting current safety standards and asked Peacock Electrical to do the work. It was completed on time, leaving the area clean and tidy. The wiring was very neat, with good quality components. All socket wiring was checked and an electrical plan drawn up showing the location of all electrical outlets and the corresponding circuit numbers. Excellent work done by Sam himself.

Sam has been our go to man for all things electrics in the house we moved into recently. Outdoor pond pumps, refitting old light fittings, oven parts, outdoor lighting rework etc. etc. Quick responses, good work, and always happy to explain what he is doing to someone trying to be slightly less illiterate around the house!

I highly recommend Sam. He came recommended by several people in our village and absolutely lived up to his reputation. Sam visited beforehand to assess the job, explained everything clearly, provided a date to complete the work, and arrived exactly when he said he would. The work itself was carried out to a very high standard, with neat wall chasing and socket / HDMI installation that looked incredibly tidy. What impressed me most was the quality of the plastering afterwards. It was finished so well that it saved me the cost of hiring a separate plasterer to make good the chased walls.
