Bright Spark have helped me with several electrical jobs in recent years, so when I moved a few months ago they were my first port of call to carry out extensive work on my new home. They replaced all the existing light sockets and switches, moved several sockets and installed quite a few more, along with new bedside wall lights in the bedrooms. Karen's quote was comprehensive in detail (including full specs and images of all the fittings to be installed) and extremely competitive. The work was carried out over 3 days by Joe, Terry and Charlie, all of whom were professional and courteous, tidy and thorough. Having this kind of work carried out can be messy and a bit stressful, but this really wasn't. I received great advice about future works and was sent a full breakdown of what work had been carried out. Joe returned today to install the last few light fittings (I took forever to find what I wanted in some areas, this was in no way their fault!) and I'm once again impressed by the service I've received. I have no hesitation in recommending Karen and Bright Spark, and I look forward to having them back here soon to install some garden lights!

Helen and her team carried out a major electrical refit for our 19 bedroom care home. Ahead of the works she communicated and explained everything that would happen and when the time came the work was done safely, efficiently and with minimum disruption to our residents. I would highly recommend Karen and her team for any electrical jobs you have. From the moment I first emailed my enquiry the service was super quick (I appreciate this depends on their other jobs at the time). We received a quote that was clear with the works to be done and price was reasonable. On the day the electrician (Joe I believe) turned up on time, did a fab job and even tidied up after himself. Karen and the team worked on a large internal lighting upgrade at our church and completed the job to an extremely high standard, getting in additional equipment needed and being incredibly flexible to get it finished quickly, when the job turned out to be more involved than we had initially realised. It has made such a huge difference to the building. Karen sent her team into The Finance Hub to start delivering a key office essential PAT Testing. It was the most smoothest task for my Office Manager to carry out. We have been very pleased with the electrical work performed by Bright Sparks and would thoroughly recommend their services. Having completed an electrical inspection and testing they helped to identify a problem with a missing earth in the house and liaised on our behalf with UK Power Networks to supply a new earthing point. They then installed a new consumer unit, an outside light and completed remedial works to bring the household electrics up to scratch and issued us with a Domestic Electrical Installation Certificate. Throughout Karen, Richard and team have worked methodically and patiently through the issues with our electrics and been happy to answer all the questions we have thrown at them. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future.

Absolutely excellent company, they were extremely quick to come out and the chap they sent was incredibly thorough and worked extremely hard to track the fault down that was tripping my electrics. After the success of using Karen and her team (Richard) for our first job we had no hesitation in booking them for an oven installation. We required the old double oven removed, electrics upgraded and a new oven and microwave oven installed. We also needed the kitchen cabinet changed to ensure a perfect fit. This was the first time I used Bright Sparks and it won’t be the last. My small job of adding three sockets initially looked fairly simple but in the end the job did not turn out quite as planned as access to the space was confined and the walls, being part of a chimney breast, were very thick. However, the onsite guys made some excellent suggestions and I think the way it worked out was an improvement on the original plan. It all looks very neat and tidy and I’ve not had to do any repainting or making good. It has been a pleasure to work with Karen and the rest of the Bright Sparks team. It’s nice to find an organisation that are well organised, communicate well and turn up when they say they will and don’t leave a mess.

Karen and team were exceptional. I needed a new induction hob fitted quickly and they delivered. The electrician (Rich) was brilliant, quick, clean, tidy and very knowledgeable. All communication was excellent and efficient, you receive a very helpful text telling you when the team are 30 mins away. Don’t know how they got these good reviews. 2 years ago this company spent a whole day unable to find a wiring fault which kept tripping the board. The board was then left in an unsafe condition with the fault not found. I was then presented with a massive bill for doing nothing! BGas engineer found the fault and dealt with it in an hour, fitted a new board and outside lights for hardly any more than the price this company charged me. I should’ve sued them at the time.

I was very pleased with the level of care and attention to detail by everyone involved., From my first enquiry, to completion of several jobs all on one day, took less than two weeks. Everyone was both highly professional and most personable, taking time to explain things and to ensure that we got what we wanted. Karen’s team have done various pieces of work for us over the years. Their work is of the highest standards, communication quick and effective and a very timely service. The electricians who come are friendly, respectful, helpful, clean and tidy. A1 service all round!

I've used Bright Spark Electrical Services multiple times over the last 2 years and I won't go anywhere else now. Karen and every member of her team we've met have been fantastic. The speed that quotes are turned around is truly impressive and Karen is always quick to respond with amendments and general advice. I've had two new consumer units fitted across different addresses, new circuits run and multiple smaller jobs too. Every time I've used Bright Sparks I have been so impressed with the quality of the work, knowledge and attention to detail. One of the team even spent two hours tracing a circuit fault for which we weren't charged. I trust their advice and always find their quotes to be fair. I would definitely recommend them. Truly professional service. Not only the speed of response, but keeping the customer in touch and working with them to sort out the problem. I was hundreds of miles away with only my 19 year-old daughter at home with no clue about what to do. Karen kept talking to me until she had enough of a clue to diagnose and fix the problem. All on a bank holiday weekend. In addition the report with images is an excellent record for the future. Dear Karen, We have strip lights in the office and one wouldn’t turn on or if it did it would flicker, horribly. We wanted to get the light fixed as soon as possible so that we could resume normal running. Karen took my call, first time, first thing in the morning. Bright Sparks had loads of jobs to be done that day however you were able to rearrange your vans so that we could be fitted in that day. Firstly, I want to thank you for the speed of your service, you asked me to take a photo of the capacitors which was not working correctly, this meant that you could come out with the correct product and make sure that you were able to fix it that day. The landlord had already got a price from another Sparky however he had said that as one had gone and they are all the same age it is only a matter of time before the rest would also go so it make sense to change them all. Karen’s man suggested that we changed them as and when they fail, as some of them may not even been halfway through their life cycle. You were able to save us loads of money by advising we didn’t need to get them all replaced as they still work brilliantly and are not coursing any problem. Thank you so much for coming to help us with our problem. You made time for us in a very busy day, you made sure that you had the right parts, your Sparky was polite and knew what he was doing. Very professional friendly woman answered the phone.. Sent two great friendly electricians to put up various lights and sort out an electrical mess left by previous company. Very reasonably priced. I would never bother leaving a review but my experience with this company drove me to. Can't recommend them enough!
