HPS Telford

Came over to do a few simple jobs. Arrived on time, professional, personable. Nothing to fault. He's in my phone to call next time I need someone.

I’ve used Richard twice now and he is excellent. He’s reliable, knowledgable and very reasonably priced. I wouldn’t use anyone else.

I had power run from my house to a garage where it was wired with sockets and lights. The job went perfectly and Richard was great to work with to get the job just how I wanted it. Will definitely use again

Fitted us in at very short notice. Arrived on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. Got us back up and running at a very reasonable price. That impressed I've arranged more work for next week.

Quick, efficient, friendly, very good value for money . Would highly recommend.

Very helpful, fast efficient service came the same day to resolve my broken light switch good fair price. Highly recommended

Richard arrived within 3 hours of me making the call, discussed options for repair with me and fully explained the process, absolutely lovely! Would use again (but hopefully I won't be putting any more nails through cables 😂)

I cannot recommend Richard enough, I had to have a new circuit board fitted along with various other work and Richard arrived on time each day at 9am just as he said he would, his work is to an extremely high standard and is always very polite, honest and friendly, he went above and beyond to keep the house as he found it without disturbing any fittings when at times it must of been difficult for him, he was extremely helpful and always left the house clean and tidy each night, I will certainly recommend him to family and friends, thank you again Richard for an excellent job.

Richard came over when our electric shower stopped working. Quick diagnose and quick solution. Can't fault. Even txt to say would be late after having to go to a loss of power call. Might be finally a reliable electrician in a world of cowboys I've seen so far. Thanks again!

Had no power to our property first thing this morning 7am,Searched Google and found and phoned HPS at 7.15am.Richard re arranged with his first appointment to attend to our needs first.By 9am he had traced our problem to our central heating boiler causing our electrics to trip out.which was under contract with local company.I found this excellent service and would fully recommend HPS for any repairs.

Had an external double gang socket fitted, brilliant job, reliable and cleaned up after. Will definitely recommend in the future👍

Richard is great, punctual and communicates well! I recommend him to friends and family and will always put any electrical work I need doing to him, he goes above and beyond!

Richard was brilliant from start to finish. He came to fit a couple of additional sockets at my house. He was on time, carried out the work to an excellent standard and cleaned up at the end. Richard discovered an existing wiring fault in my house and went above and beyond to resolve this for me. I cannot recommend him highly enough and will recommend him to my friends and family!

Absolutely brilliant service, I had been waiting all night for an electrician to come eventually found HPS and called and within no time at all Richard arrived fixed the problem totally would recommend him excellent efficient work. Thank you for saving me from disaster very much appreciated. Sara

Would highly recommend. Richard did a fantastic job. He is very professional, thorough, tidy reliable and reasonably priced.

Richard came over within the hour to sort a garage with no power. Fixed it and explained what had happened even quicker. Will be using him for any future jobs! Thanks Richard.

Incredible electrician, cannot fault the service or any part of our communications. I was recommended HPS Telford by a previous customer of theirs, they fitted us in within days of me contacting them. Arrived exactly when they said they would, fixed the problem and thoroughly checked all the circuits which is huge for my peace of mind. I would recommend HPS Telford to anyone looking for an electrician

Great job! Richard is very helpful and in details

Absolutely can not fault. Called regarding a burnt tumble dryer socket, came out and fixed within 90 minutes and that was including a nice chat! 10/10 will 100% be using again

We have used Richard several times over the last 30 years and he always exceeds expectations at a very reasonable cost.

Excellent service. Arrived when he said he would and the work was great. Left everything clean and tidy and made sure everything was a I wanted before he left. Thanks very much

Great service! Richard is incredibly patient and willing to discuss his decisions. Despite National Grid taking 10 months to fix an issue which delayed the work, Richard stayed true to his quote. Significantly cheaper than I expected for a great quality job! Worth every penny!

Outstanding Electrical Work by HPS Electrical – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of hiring Richard from HPS Electrical to install new lights and sockets in my garage, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, his service was nothing short of exceptional. Customer Service: Communication with HPS Electrical was seamless. Richard kept me informed at every stage of the project and were always available to answer any questions I had. HPS Electrical exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for reliable and skilled electricians, I wholeheartedly recommend HPS Electrical. My garage has never looked better.

We found Richard on Google after searching for an electrician and was impressed with the reviews he had already received. I phoned Richard and told him the work we were wanting to have done. He made an appointment to come and have a look at the work for the next day. I was very impressed with the quote and arranged to have to have to work done the following week. Richard was very punctual and was ready to start the job at 9am like he said. He made an amazing job at putting up the lights in both the bedrooms and changed the spot lights in the bathroom. Richard left everywhere clean even hoovering up after himself !! He was a lovely workman to have in my home spending time to talk to me about the job and taking the time to get know myself too. I have already recommended him to my neighbours and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a trustworthy electrician then Richard at HPS is your man!!

We used Richard recently to complete a full review of our electrics, install a new, as well as additional fuse board, alongside a number of other jobs that were needed to help address some historic issues. Richard went above and beyond in planning what needed to be done, coming up with pragmatic solutions to minimise disruption and damage to existing walls and fittings, and put in some very long days to get the job done. Both he and Paul were extremely friendly, polite, thoughtful and tidy. He will be a permanent fixture on my small, but important list of quality tradesmen! I would highly recommend him to everyone. Thank you Richard and Paul!

Very able electrician who couldn’t do enough to help. Work performed quickly without fuss.

I would highly recommend Richard. At short notice he undertook an electrical installation survey of a property we were purchasing. Following this Richard quickly carried out a lighting circuit rewire, new installation of sockets and light fittings inside and outside with limited impact to the house, leaving everything tidy. I was very pleased with the quality of Richard's work, his professionalism, promptness, communication and a friendly guy to deal with.

Came very quickly. Very professional and helpful. Fully recommend. Excellent service .

Had a difficult time trying to source a quality electrician to replace an outside PIR security light. Richard was the only one to actually call me back and be prompt and helpful with his service. Came out very quickly to complete works to a very good standard. Will always come to Richard first, in future now. Thank you!

Richard assisted me with an electrical survey a few months ago, he was very professional and managed to fit me in and answer any queries I had. I later used Richard for upgrading and completing work, where the quality of work was to a very high standard and looked great. Richard again, managed to fit me in despite short notice. He turned up on time and completed the work we discussed with great value for money. Highly recommended, and will use again.

Richard has been excellent, managing expectations and going above and beyond to do a full re-wire with as little impact to the house as possible. I can highly reccomend him. The quality of the work is brilliant and ill certainly be using him again should i need any further work

Excellent, efficient, Richard knew what he was doing, brilliant job. Thank you

Another great job completed quickly and efficiently. A friendly and reliable electrician who is always our number one choice for any electrical work or advice that we need. Always satisfied with the quality of work and would recommend 100%

Richard recently did some work on my electrics board and also installed a loft light. I have used him many times now over the last couple of years and cannot recommend him highly enough. Responsive, thorough and good at what he does. Couldn’t ask for any more to be honest.

Highly recommend! HPS promptly came to inspect and quote for the work (new sub board fitting), talking through various ways in which it could be completed. They arrived on the agreed date, on time and were professional, friendly and accommodating through out their time on site. Richard (HPS) has an obvious wealth of experience that you'd expect from a good tradesman and this combine with his friendly manner reassured me that I'd picked the right person for the job. HPS are now my 'go-to' company for any electrical work.

We have used HPS Telford twice now, once for a new consumer unit in 2021 and again in 2023 as we are having a new kitchen. Very reliable and friendly. His work is always very tidy and neat. Would definitely recommend.

Richard kept his service promises and made sure all work was done within demanding timescales. 100% trust this guy, didn't do work that wasn't needed, that others may have done. Everything left tidy and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Contacted HPS for supply and installation of a replacement smoke alarm (mains connected) and spoke to Richard. Richard was very responsive and got back to me quickly. He arrived on time (despite heavy snow and un-ploughed roads!) and also gave me a courtesy call the night before to confirm. He was very friendly and nice to deal with and the whole experience felt very professional. Left everything clean and tidy and was very considerate of me as I was in a work phone call while he was there - he clearly made an effort to be courteous and quiet so as not to distract me. Would be very happy to recommend.

Excellent service as always.

I have used richard on several occasions now and found him polite tidy and very knowledgeable you can not fault his ability highly recommend him

Amazing service! So friendly and helpful and at a good price!!

X2 external lights and one double external socket. Prompt communication, professional, tidy, and excellent workmanship. Would recommend highly and would be happy to use again.

He was very friendly and professional and turned up on time and tidied up after himself. Did a neat and tidy job will be calling him again and would recommend him.

Had the RCD consumer unit replaced Richard arrived on time, was polite and friendly, the work was completed to a high standard. When the work was completed it was left clean and tidy I have booked HPS again for additional work. Would recommend using HPS.

Richard was very quick to check our needs and then prompt with appointment to carry out work.He was very professional and clean/tidy. Also responded very quickly when another fault occurred.

Richard initially installed 3 indoor light fittings and 3 outdoor lights at my home and was professional, efficient and did the jobs really well. I was so impressed with the service I had received that I called Richard to fit my Ring Floodlight camera in my garden and Richard didn’t disappoint. He made sure the camera was installed in the best position possible and also helped to adjust the lights on the camera too (see pictures attached for reference). I would highly recommend Richard if you require a reliable and trustworthy electrician. Very good service, good value for money and a great friendly electrician. I will most certainly recommend Richard to family and friends and I will engage in Richard’s service again.

Came out at very short notice, was very friendly and helpful, and was fair on price. Will certainly use again if in need of an electrician.

I fully recommend using this company if you are considering any electrical work. Arrived on time, was polite and friendly, completed the work to a high standard. Will have no hesitation in using again.

Richard at HPS is prompt and trustworthy. He arrived at the agreed time and carried out the work professionally. The lights in our garden look great. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Richard arrived on the date agreed and carried out the work in a timely and professional manner, would recommend as a quality tradesman

I wholeheartedly recommend HPS! Richard and Malcolm were both very professional, and fabulous to deal with. Richard was very thorough on his first visit. He helped me work out the jobs that needed doing and he was honest and upfront about everything. I have a very old property which needed significant work, and he was amazing. They did a fantastic job of installing new fuse box, sensor/outdoor lights, new switches and earth wires, and more. They had some tricky problems to solve. They were friendly, good humoured and a pleasure to deal with, I would recommend him to anyone!! We are extremely satisfied with the quality of the work.

Fast efficient service, polite, friendly service, would use again. Reasonable prices, took down two light fixtures and replaced with replacement fittings.

Really helpful, professional and friendly, able to fit us in quickly to a cancelled appointment slot. Would use again and 100% happy to recommend

Excellent service! Managed to help me out very short notice, as I was let down elsewhere, very polite, clean and tidy. Would use again 100%

Fantastic service. Top quality. Would highly recommend

Highly recommended. Will be using again! Top bloke, went above and beyond what I asked of him.

Outstanding! Extremely helpful and professional, right from the start, Richard provided a very reasonable quote, and even gave us some sound and helpful advice. It is obvious that he treats every job as if it's his own home and this shows in the quality of work: quick, clean and to a very high standard. I would recommend HPS all day without hesitation.

We used HPS to install power sockets and lighting into a new garden room and were recommended to us by one of our neighbours who had used them before. Richard provided reasonable quote and was able to fit us in to have this work done in our timeframes. Very pleased with the work and even making a slight change to original requirement he was able to update quote on day and complete. Would recommend and will definitely be using again.

Really pleased with the work carried out. Helpful advice throughout and the area was left clean and tidy. Would recommend

The go to company for all of your electrical needs! Fantastic service by Richard from HPS. I could not recommend him enough. Great communication throughout and always willing to support and offer his advice. Amazing results on the day with a swift but high quality turn around. Extremely professional, competitively priced and friendly throughout. If you are looking for an electrician then look no further. Thanks again Richard!

Really prompt service, very knowledgeable and thankfully noticed a wiring issue with a light set I had planned to use. Top stuff

Left a message for a call back. He called me back no more than 30 minutes later and was already in my area returning from another job. He arrived at my house within minutes and kindly agreed to carry out the work immediately. He did so and to high standard. Excellent service and would certainly use him again.

100% Recommend!! Richard has been nothing but honest in his recommendations of work around my house, even if it meant him losing out of an extra job or two. I had arranged a mains smoke alarms fitting, new mains box, new kitchen spot lights and outdoor mains motion sensor lights. After giving him our last electrical report of the house, he gave us a reasonable quote and booked us in. On arriving at the house he quickly reconigised the electrical wiring to the mains box was a HUGE fire and electrical risk as there was no way a short would trip a switch as all wiring was wired to all trip switches!!! Funnily enough we've never had a trip in our house since living here 3 years. The electrical report we'd been given when buying the house must of been a fraud. Instead of a simple replacement box job (1 day for all jobs listed above), it turned into a huge job spreading over 2 days. Without hessitation he got the new box fitted and sorted out a number of other electrical issues around the mains box area, including the gas mains earth which was also "dodgy". The mains box is now safe, and I have several trip switches for lights, sockets upstairs, downstairs, etc. I've had Richard come around again since for more work. I cannot fault him at all, really friendly guy, very approachable, professional and honest.

Amazing service. This is the 3rd time that HPS has carried out electrical work on my house and would recommend their services to anyone. Professional, tidy, considerate and arrived on time, as agreed. Identified the fault with my electric shower and resolved the problem in no time at all. Thank you.

Fully recommend Richard at HPS. After being complete ripped of by Shaw Circuits Ltd (Telford), a man who cost me £250 for effectively a shoddy diagnostic who I wouldn't trust to make me an omelette, I booked HPS and Richard was round in a flash. Straight on the job which was a complex operation, he was very thorough, very meticulous, and explained absolutely everything as he went along. Considering the severity of the problems, he managed to leave my house in one piece without ripping down walls and cutting into plaster. Everything was carried out under floorboards. He even carefully planned out how he was to sort out our wiring issues in his own time! He's certainly our go to electrician in Telford now.

After being let down by another electrician, we had a power failure in the house we just moved into and within an hour Richard was with us. He diagnosed several issues and made us safe in the short term and returned as promised a few days later. He was meticulous, thorough, and I cannot stress just how tidy he left everything. He was also a pleasure to spend time with, making the whole ordeal less stressful. He's honest and reliable and I cannot recommend him enough. We're so grateful to have found him.

Fantastic service - have had a series of issues over the past two months and each time Richard has managed to get to us quickly and sort out the problems in a professional way. Would recommend.

Sunday morning and our mains switch had burnt out. I called HPS having not used them before and he was willing to come over to sort it out. Asked for a picture of the problem to avoid making multiple trips which would cost more. Arrived quickly after finding the part needed. Friendly and professional. I would recommend HPS and use them again.

Richard provided a welcome reliable and professional service. He replied to calls as promised and turned up on time. Completed the the electrical work swiftly and replaced flooring professionally. His years of experience as an electrician shone through. Would highly recommend.

Excellent professional service. Attended on time. The work was excellent. Friendly service. Will use again

Fantastic service received by Richard from HPS. As a landlord it is important to ensure that you have an up to date electrical safety certificate. With new regulations now in force, I needed fast and efficient service. Richard is very professional, arrived on time, worked in a tidy manor, and went over and above to get the job sorted. I would highly reccommed HPS.

Totally recommend this service. Very profesional. We called Richard for an electrical emergency at 3 am in the morning and he came to solve it very quickly. Thank you very much. Definitely our new electrician!

Richard’s work & reliability were excellent definitely use him again & certainly recommend him

The job was an electrical inspection of Oakengates United Church to gain the 5 year electrical certificate. Richard (and his colleague Malcolm) were punctual, trustworthy, professional and competent and did what was agreed to do. They were friendly, pleasant and easy to communicate with. Any issues were discussed and a solution agreed. It was a pleasure to work with two people who were experienced in what they were doing. Would definitely use them again for Church our our own home.

Excellent service. Called in the morning asking for a quote for work I required. This was completed later that same day. Due to a client cancelling an appointment the next day I was able to get my work completed the next day. Richard is very polite, clean and tidy in his work, which was completed to my satisfaction. Will definitely use him again.

Very patient diagnosis on the phone, arrived promptly and solved the issue with ease. Gave me the confidence to know I've called the right people. Can't ask for more. Use these guys, keep it local and know that you're in good hands.

HPS completed a full re-wire of Edwardian house. Richard is exceptionally Polite, Professional, Prompt everything you’d hope for. Will always use them for electrical works and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We’ve used HPS a number of times and always found Richard to be professional, reliable and reasonably priced. We’ll definitely use Richard for any future electrical work we need. Highly recommended.

Nothing special OK service

I recently asked HPS to rewire my entire house as the existing wiring was old and badly done. This included replacing and re-positioning all lighting, fitting sockets in all rooms, connecting my house to a garage, removing old wiring and fitting a new circuit box. Richard and his team did a great job from start to finish, were honest in their opinions, gave advice and didn't cut corners. I would recommend them without hesitation and will certainly use them again if/when the time comes.

We have used HPS a few times now. He is reliable, friendly and always does a good job. Today he came at short notice to repair some damage another workman had caused that was left unsafe. We were very grateful he took the trouble as he was very busy.We would recommend him to anyone.

Very highly recommended. Richard did a great job on our unexpectedly challenging rewire, on time and to budget.

Very professional and reliable service. Richard was able to fit me in at short notice after I explained my situation. Very friendly and helpful, thank you so much! I know who I shall be using for any future works!

Great service had hps do a full rewired in my house after finding out it was a death trap. Very tidey job and very professional. Would recommend anyone with any problems or any electrical jobs need doing. Great work. Very please. Thanks.

Very nice chap and did a great job too! Highly recommend!

The service was very prompt and extremely good.

A swift and professional service. HPS quickly resolved a problem we came across during some repair works.

Excellent work, we had some walls knocked through and needed plugs and light switches moving and rewiring, Richard provid a competitive quote, completed the work on time and cleared up any mess he made.
