I sent a website enquiry over the weekend and got a response first thing Monday and Paul was round on the Wednesday to help us with our light switch and wiring issue. Really impressed and happy with the service and would 100% recommend.

Paul came round quickly to see the job and promised to quote within a couple of days but I heard nothing back. Telephoned over a week later and told it'll be emailed that day. Had corresponded by email previously so Paul has my correct details but sadly he is not interested in the job but did not have the decency to tell me. A bit of honesty and improved communications would be appreciated as customers should not be 'strung along'. Such a shame as had selected him from positive reviews on 'trustatrader' and he seemed like a decent chap.

I was looking for a new go to electrician after my previous trusted guy moved away. Like other trades electricians are people you are trusting with your home and so it’s important to find the right one. I sometimes take review sites with a degree of scepticism as you never know if they are fake or not however in dealing with Paul and his team all the great reviews are spot on. I wanted a local firm and these guys are just in the nearest town. All prior conversations from myself to Paul were via email which in our busy day to day world is how things now happen. A few questions and photos of my existing consumer unit and Paul came back with a price and an option of days for the work to be done which was within a few days. Steve arrived at the time stated and little touches such as the over shoes made a noticeable difference. The work was done even a few minor faults fixed along the way and everything was explained clearly as well as being tested and verified before the guys left. I can see me supporting these guys as my go to electricians from now on and hope this review helps others as they are a really genuine and friendly firm.

Have used a Herts Electrical a few times now. Today they have been around to fix some major faults with our new house due to poor workmanship by previous owners. We have used this company a few years ago for a quite complicated multiple consumer unit replacement. Not only did they do an excellent job then but they quoted and did that work when two local electricians had refused even to quote for the job. This time the work was to renew the EICR electrical certificate for that earlier work and to replace some bathroom ceiling lights and a switch to bring them up to the new bathroom standards. The engineer who came was very competent and very helpful and we are particularly pleased with his work. We shall certainly use this company again.

I can't recommend Paul and his team highly enough. The came out and quoted extremely quickly and then slotted me in around the dates i gave that I was able to be at home. They turned up when they said they would and got straight on with the work. When they finished, you couldn't even tell they had been there they left it so clean and tidy. Look no further, this company puts all other electricians to shame. Fully qualified, Professional, Helpful, Reliable, Clean and friendly, no job too big or small. Give them a call no matter the job, you won't be disappointed. They came and corrected electrical work that someone else failed to do properly enabling the works to be checked and certified, then re wired the lighting circuit in my house as well as sorting out the power to my garden shed and external flood light. Paul and his team are fabulous and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Paul and Harry were able to come on the same day I contacted them, when many electricians I had called were unavailable so close to Christmas. They were polite, prompt, clean (overshoes worn in the house - yay!) and extremely thorough and diligent in locating and fixing the electrical fault in the kitchen. The cost was reasonable with the additional bonus that they were very sweet with my three year old, allowing him to watch the work without being in danger. I don't think you could get a faster more effcient service if you tried. I called yesterday and Paul arranged to come out today to do the work. We agreed 2:30pm. I phoned him at 2:36pm to tell him I'm stuck in traffic but should be home shortly, only for him to say my partners father had let him in and it was all fixed. I challenge anyone to find a faster service than that. Got home and all working fine. Met Paul after to pay him and he was a great guy to have done business with. Faultless first class service.
