Really happy with the work carried out and the time taken to answer questions and go over things. Including giving enough time to show me how to change light settings afterwords. Didn't just rush off like some trades people do. Work is very neat and can tell care has been taken to get the small things right ( plugs at same hight, light switches exactly where your hand naturally lands. Ill also add that as a woman with adhd and autism, that simon is very approachable and didnt have that pushy uncomfortable trades person vibe. Felt safe being in the house on my own with him cracking on with the work. Will deffo use him again for any future work

Simon was excellent again today. Came on time as arranged checked all my electrical circuits to ensure they complied with current regulations. Then proceeded to replace my garage and house distribution boards. Then turned the power back on. This left our house in a safe condition with essential certification for the work.
We can fully recommend Simon. From first phonecall to the final payment everything was extremely efficient, professional and affordable. He kindly fitted us in two days shy of Christmas and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, even making an additional replacement without upping his quote. For older customers, be aware AI technology is used for booking but he himself was also instantly contactable. We could have done with a little more advice on the mounting/moving of the switch but that is a minor point. A very positive experience all round - thank you Simon!

I contacted Simon after finding him on line to do an electrical safety inspection on our terraced house , plus replace an out dated consumer unit and any remedial work . quote was over within a couple of hours based on my description , the price was very fair and the works were booked in. I received a text message when he was 10 mins away , the works and remedials took place over two days and done to a very high standard looking forward to receiving the paper work ! would recommend Simon for anyone looking for a great electrician.

Easy booking process, good communication. Turned up when expected. Good service. More expensive than a one-man band and adds vat. Turns out I didn't really need an electrician, it was the product that was faulty and not the socket so I felt a bit daft, but safer to check. Still cost me the minimum call out charge of £95 plus vat but would use again and would recommend for peace of mind and good service. Nice chap, didn't make me feel daft for calling him out
Simon relocated a pull cord bathroom switch to a standard switch , this meant channeling down the full bathroom wall then under floor boards then channeling up to a new area on a wall outside the bathroom . I found simon to be brilliant in all areas from first call to the finished job 100% satisfied .

I would love to review Simon's electrical work, but sadly I cannot because the work did not take place. After agreeing a time and date in advance, Simon went on to change that time with less than four hours notice to be two hours earlier than planned. I recognise that other jobs finish early, but I had organised my day around an afternoon visit rather than a morning visit, and so I had to rearrange my day to considerable inconvenience to accommodate this change. After all that, when the time came for Simon to arrive, he could not find parking and left. I would accept that parking is an issue, if I hadn't then gone to one of the nearby streets that I had suggested parking in, and found two vacant spots that were more than big enough for a transit van. Overall, Simon has been communicative and helpful in the preparation of the job, but I cannot review his electrical work, and I cannot recommend him if parking is in any way an issue where you live.

I booked Simon a year ago in September to do various electrical work such as fixing towel rail, some light switches and fittings and to quote for a new consumer unit. He came on time and did the light fitting and switches. We asked him about a new fuse box and he proceeded to do lots of checks which led to him producing a detailed report that cost us close to £300. We did not ask for this report to be done but paid the fee thinking that it ways something to do with changing the consumer unit. Simon promised to email me the quote for the towel rail and the consumer unit and we have not heard from him since. I chased him up several times - poor lady who answers his phone had to apologise on his behalf every .time. It appears that my experience is not isolated and several other people had similar experience in the past. Very prompt response from Simon. Small correction- I never got a quote or a follow up contact. Phoned and emailed you several times and it was last year in October and November. Regards, Ela Sparling

Very pleased, found Simon after watching one of his excellent YouTube videos, I was thinking of getting a full rewire but Simon advised getting an inspection done first. Glad I did as some remedial action is needed but not a full rewire yet. That has saved a lot of money. He also agreed to travel out of his usual area of coverage as he realised I was struggling to find someone trustworthy. Simon Provided good service and clearly wants to do well. My recent experience of Simon was poor communication and not returning to undertake a job that he found was slightly different to what he envisaged. The main issue for me was Simon didn't show any real interest in finishing the job we had agreed. I accept Simon is busy and the bigger jobs are more appealing, but hopefully Simon will not be defensive regarding this critique and learn to value all jobs the same and complete any job he has agreed to do.

Simon did EICRs at two rented properties. Both had been checked previously by a different company who 'found' £1500 of work was needed. Simon did an honest thorough job, was easy to deal with, arrived on time, and found one point needing a £60 repair. I wound highly recommend him to anyone needing a good honest electrician.

Simon was very professional and a very nice and friendly person. Responded very quickly to my request asking for a quote. The quote came in the same day and I was extremely happy with the price. The job was booked in using a very efficient system so I could choose the date and time online. Simon texted when on route to me and the work was done to a very high standard in a timely manner and area left very tidy before he left. Simon sorted out a problem with all our downstairs switches tripping on 2nd October. It was originating from an outside socket which had become wet and damaged. I can't say enough good things about this fantastic guy :) He is a 'proper professional tradesman' who clearly takes great pride in his business and we couldn't have been more pleased to find him. 100% recommend him and his work - no mess, brilliant communication from first quote to confirming the date, letting us know on the day when he was on the way and at a good price. He arrived when he said he would (in fact, he texted 15 minutes before his arrival time), saw the work required and explained what needed doing. His quote arrived the following day. He completed the work with the minimum of mess and to our requirements and his final invoice matched the quote. Overall, a good experience with a competent professional.

Better organised than my big Corporate company. Bookings are sent by email to save into you calendar. Text to confirm he is on the way, with GPS tracking so you can see when he will arrive. Job done exactly as requested. Then efficient invoice generated immediately on completion. Extremely professional.
Simon was booked to do a full EICR inspection and top produce a detailed report. He offered flexibility on booking day and time. He arrived on time and we discussed the requirements. He had asked me to ensure all door handles, switches and sockets were sanitised in advance as it was during the COVID-19 lockdown period. He completed the inspection within the indicated time period and replaced all items that had been moved and reinserted all plugs. He provided a 7-page detailed report and invoice within one hour of leaving the site. The report was very detailed and enabled me to discuss required actions with Simon. Simon smashed it. Awkward parking at mine but not phased. Booked after Christmas and was with us before New year. Full electrical check of our flat done quickly with no fuss, and gave us a massive report to refer to in the future. All prices discussed before with no suprises on the day. We found our new electrician.
Simon installed an electric shower for me. Getting the job done was delayed by Simon not hearing back from a supplier. To avoid further delays, I bought the shower and Simon installed it. He did a good job and tidied up after himself. A week before he installed the shower, I’d emailed/texted Simon about another job (faulty light switch) which I asked him to do at the same time as the shower installation (Simon recommends getting multiple things done together to save money as he has a minimum fee). When he came to install the shower, he knew nothing about the light switch (hadn’t read the email) so came unprepared and unable to do the work. He said he'd get back to me about the switch. Two weeks later, I’d heard nothing from him so found someone else. Simon may be good at electrical work but seems to struggle with the less obvious but absolutely essential bits in between - clear, honest, timely communication and not leaving customers hanging. Simon informs me he’s busy (as most of us are); being busy is not an excuse for not communicating with customers and not doing something you said you would do. I’ve already given feedback to Simon and suggested that perhaps it’s time to shift his productivity approach from trying to do everything to doing fewer things, better.
Simon showed up at the appointed time, is a nice affable chap and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I will be happy to call him again should the need arise and would recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician in the Leeds area.
My partner and I were really pleased with the job that Simon did fitting a new power cable for a new oven that we are having fitted. We have an old house with some unusual design issues that complicated the job but Simon was very engaged in coming up with a solution the problem. Simon was very flexible in timing his visits to the house, and very friendly and explanatory about what he had done and what he was going to do. He has done a very good job fitting the cable, and was even able to answer a few questions about other unrelated electrical issues that we had going on. I would definitely contact Simon again if we had further electrical issues in the future.
First time he didn't come. Second time he came to assess the situation, then he left saying that he was going to provide a quote. Two weeks later, after several emails finally I got a quote, which wasn't including most of the things that I requested. I asked him to provide a full quote for all the jobs, he didn't reply. I'll ask someone else

We hadn't used Simon before and were impressed with how the good business systems he had in place matched the quality of the work he carried out. I have just moved into my first home and don't know anything when it comes to electrics and have found it very daunting not only not knowing anything but having to let people into my home and trust what they're saying is true. Simon managed to fit me in quickly after I contacted him. He conducted a domestic ECR test to tell me exactly what does and doesn't need doing electrically and even though he came out on Friday evening I had the report by Saturday. Simon was very professional, polite and explained everything clearly to me. Was courteous when going around my home. Simon's estimate was detailed and very clear. We were very pleased indeed with his work (installing power and lighting circuits in a basement) - he worked hard and completed the job in two days. As a small point, I always reckon that you can judge the quality and attention to detail of a tradeperson's work by the appearance of their van - and Simon's van is immaculate. Poor experience with this electrician I'm afraid so forced to write this review. Simon was more than helpful to do a condition report on my house for an easy couple of hours work for 200 quid. However after promising numerous times to quote me for the work needed to rectify the issues that he deemed urgently requiring work, no quote was sent. I have given up chasing for this now and will use someone else. If you are too busy Simon as I told you I don't mind but to ignore your customers can only lead to poor reviews if you put yourself out there. Will not use again or recommend to anyone.
