Contacted J Electrical they were very efficient and professional . The work was carried out quickly . Would recommend

We have used J Electrical several times previously. On this recent occasion, we needed the Company to replace 10 ceiling lights which were causing concern. Within a few days of my making contact with them, J Electrical had viewed the job to diagnose the problem, had quoted and then had carried out the work to budget. As ever, their electrician did a good job, was polite and friendly and cleaned up any mess. We are very pleased with the work.

Very good customer service and quick response a clean and tidy result with job complete within a week of original contact

Always very helpful, with appointments made quickly at suitable times and work carried out efficiently by polite members of their team.

Very pleasant no hassle thank you .

We have used J Electrical on a couple of occasions and have been very pleased with the work. Excellent communication and quick email responses

Had an EV charger installed, arrived on time on the day, managed to wire it in better than previously thought during the quote and also removed some floodlights that weren’t needed free of charge, would highly recommend!

My search for a local electrician ended when I found J Electrical. Quick efficient always helpful. I have been using J Electrical for a few years now and wouldn’t consider using any other company. David from Goring.

Work carried out on behalf of Deco 8 Management Ltd. The installation of emergency lighting was carried out on time and in a professional manor. A request for a return visit to adjust the sensitivity of the lighting was attended to within two days. I would certainly use this supplier again.

Excellent service on electric survey for house purchase. Could not ask for a better professional approach. A C very satisfied client.

July 2025 – Fitted extra sockets, and disconnected power to shed. February 2024 - Replace wired smoke detectors, heat detector and test switches. We’ve used J Electrical on a number of occasions now. Consistent service every time. From initial contact they quickly respond with a quote, and then book in the work. All communications are polite, timely and clear at every stage – they keep you informed and work around your needs. They arrive when they say they will! When doing the work they are polite, tidy, patient and reassuring throughout. A highly recommended firm!

Easy to complete business with this Company with their computerised system. All employees I found to be knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The installation of my EV charger took just over a week to be fitted from the time of the original survey until the work was carried out. Very pleased with the result and would not hesitate to use them again.

Thoroughly impressed with Liam and J Electrical! We needed a new 32amp circuit for the electrical cooker (replacing an old gas one), and a new fuse box along the way, both of which were completed to the highest of standards and extremely quickly. We spoke on Monday, Liam visited and provided a quote on Tuesday, and the job was done on Thursday. When I was back in the house on Friday, everything had been done so seamlessly and the house was left so neat at first I wasn't even sure anyone had been in. My new cooker has now been tested and works flawlessly with the two ovens simultaneously on. If I were an electrician myself, this is how well I would do a job for me on my own house. I don't think it could have been improved in any way whatsoever. I'm still in awe, I didn't think there were people doing this level of quality work left anymore.

Did everything I assked of him and left me feeling very reassured tht my home was safely wired.

Great prompt and professional service Thankyou so much,we called for some info and had a quote arranged for the next day Liam came to have a look at the work needed and sent the quote the same day,and once we excepted the quote the work was booked in 2days later .. Grant came and did the work. Both Liam and Grant were professional, helpful and polite . Great service Thanks again

Recently had lots of work done mostly by Liam and Scott. They worked quickly and neatly, were very approachable and friendly, and did a fantastic job. I would recommend them for any electrical work, both large and small.

Asked for a quote over a year ago and I am now constantly bombarded with spam and viruses. All my data has been leaked. I have contacted them multiple times with no response so reported it as a breach of data protection. The emails I get have all my data on and the thread from Feb last year and a name Rosie.

Jon and his team have been outstanding for us on many occasions! They recently came out to replace our oven and a multitude of other electrical adjustments/jobs. We recommend them wholeheartedly for prompt and professional service every time.

We have used J Electrical 3-4 times now and they will be our "go to" team for all future electrical work. In summary - On time, clear pricing, neat workspaces, friendly team members, explaining what has to be done, checking before doing the work so it is right first time, arrive early and stay late (when needed), minimal time off for lunch and only take tea breaks when we offer vs every 15 minutes. Thanks Well done See you agian next time

Excellent service as always. We have used J Electrical for years and their service is always very professional and friendly. We had some new lights that needed fitting and they were very quick in their response time. One of their team Dan came out to fit them. He was so friendly and courteous and I would highly recommend him and the J Electrical team to all my friends and family!

Third review 2022 - Quote received and accepted. Grant arrived during the time slot and worked straight through until the job was completed. Good quality, tidy and polite. We will definitely be in touch when we next require some work done. Second review 2019 - Required some urgent assistance with a damaged wire. The team were busy but James himself came out and identified the problem and rectified there and then. A professional approach to the problem meant that other work being carried out at the time could continue safely. Another excellent job. And original review below 2017 I have used this team a couple of times now, Both times I got exactly what I asked for, when and at the price agreed. Smallish jobs carried out professionally. I will use them again in the future, without hesitation.

Always happy with the service. We used J Electrical all around the house now for big and small jobs. They upgraded a few sockets/switches and light fittings, wired the extension last year and reworked the whole loft. Very good communication from the office, polite staff always on time and very clean. Highly recommended, a pleasure to deal with.

Great work from these guys. Reliable, helpful and friendly. Did a grand, neat job. Would definitely recommend!

Having recently moved in we wanted the fuse box and whole house inspected. John was really thorough and thoughtful. He communicated his concerns and thoughts throughout his inspection. He took his time and didn't rush. He has made his recommendations for what needs to be done and we are looking forward to having him back to do the work. We have now had the work done! There was a lot to be done and it was more complicated than expected. The team were thoughtful, hardworking, checked everything thoroughly and put in long hours. Zack and the apprentices working with him clearly love learning and weren't frightened of asking for help and advice if a problem came up that they couldn't deal with. They were all cheerful at the end of a long day, taking time to answer our questions and explain everything. They cleaned and left things tidy at the end of the day. John, who managed the team was clearly liked and respected. We found him knowledgeable and utterly trustworthy. Highly recommended.

Second time using J Electrical - 1st time was for a range of jobs (new RCD, light switches, sockets, pendants, full house electrical test) and the team were great - had 5 in the house at one point to get the job done quicker. Second time just needed one guy and he was friendly and efficient as always. Highly recommended!

We required a full electrical check on our newly purchased property prior to moving from Somerset. This was carried out promptly and comprehensively. We subsequently asked for quote for rewire. This was quickly supplied. Work currently on hold by ourselves, but we're entirely satisfied with J Electrical performance to date.

James was nothing but professional from start to finish. From obtaining a quote to carrying out a full re-wire, he made sure we were 100% in the loop with what was happening. All employees of this company were courteous and professional, as well as knowledgeable and did an excellent job. 10/10 would recommend.

I have been very happy with the ideas the team at J Electrical put forward on my initial quote as I was a little lost for concepts of where to place the lighting. The great use of LED lighting along with placement of additional electrical sockets throughout my new kitchen & extension has transformed the area, making it very functional whilst at a very competitive price. They arrived on time, started and finished the job when they said they would, very tidy, and to the quote they initially provided - something which a lot of tradesman fail to do nowadays! Thanks again guys, would recommend to anyone wishing to use.

I chose J Electrical Services to carry out a full house rewire and garage installation at my new property, and the service provided was excellent from start to finish. Quotation was prompt and a start date was agreed that suited my requirements. During the work the staff were very polite to me and my family, and the house was cleaned to a great standard at the end of each day. The quality of work was very good, so I would definately recommend the use of their services.
