Rang Ashley as my dad had an issue at his house , Ashley came out the same day! Luckily he did as my dad’s house could have ended up in a fire! He ended up sorting it for the time being for free! and then came out the following week to fit a complete new fuse board for a really good price, I will never go anywhere else this guy is a legend Thankyou!

Having had Speck Electrical out to my home several times now I would recommend them to anyone. They communicate well, do what they say they are going to, are respectful of property and considerate to children and animals in the home - even warning when they are about to use a drill etc. Will definitely contact again in the future for other jobs.

Ashley & Andy were friendly & helpful with suggestions on what was needed to be done. Quote was prompt the same evening & work was started few days later. I recently moved into a house only to find that it had several electrical niggles and a few peculiar (bodged) elements too. Speck came out to us very quickly to assess what work needed to be done and came across as very professional and likeable. Suffice to say we booked the job with them. Having just had Ashley and Andy with us today, all I can say is, amazing! They did a fantastic, high quality job, were incredibly honest about what did and didn't need fixing on the day and from my perspective, went above and beyond, even squeezing in a few extra tasks. Ashley was really helpful and responsive. This is the second time we’ve used Speck Electrical and both times it was stress free and we’re really pleased with the job done. Ashley and Andrew have done a fantastic job at my work in Cirencester. They were timely , extremely polite and efficient. Ashley came and fitted some new light fixtures for us and I couldn’t be more impressed. He made availability at short notice, was super polite and courteous and was generally very pleasant. He did a quick job and cleaned up after himself. The lights look great and are very secure. He also changed our light switch plates and swapped out a couple of the screws for longer ones so it went together better. We subsequently asked advice as our hive heating has stopped working and rather than do a cowboy job he recommended someone with experience in the system. Around really trustworthy and will definitely use in future.

Called Speck electricals this morning to fit a new built in oven. Ashley had a spare hour between contracts in the Quedgeley area and fitted us in. Within 30 minutes, Ashley arrived with his father and an hour later it was done and dusted. I've never experienced such a fast instal from time of call to completion of job. I use to vet contractors as a job in the past but never (and I mean NEVER) experienced such a professional, well qualified, polite, courteous and very reasonably priced electrician such as this before. I take my hat off to you guys after being so disappointed and let down by other installers who couldn't be bothered. I highly recommend Speck Electricals to anyone wanting any electrics done..

I was recommended Speck Electrical as I was having an issue with our extraction fan in our kitchen , when Ashley arrived exactly on the arranged time his friendly professional manner put me straight at ease. He advised that we replace the whole unit due to its age and would be happy to source one if I had trouble finding one which unfortunately I couldn't so a couple of texts later he had it sorted. On the arranged day Ashley and his Dad Andy arrived promptly and cracked on in the friendly and professional manner I was getting used too. Within the hour the unit was fitted and when they left you would never have known they had been there. The whole job was reasonably priced which I was more than happy to pay , I really can't recommend Speck Electrical , Ashley and Andy enough.

Would highly recommend. On Friday, I booked an appointment to have my non-working under-cupboard lighting repaired. Ashley turned up on time the following Monday and gave me a quote, which I was happy with; when he examined the wiring, he came up with a slightly cheaper solution that would avoid potential future problems. I was more than happy with his work and professional attitude, the necessary work was done promptly and the overall price was cheaper than the original quote! After I used Andy to wire my shed some years ago (see previous review), I didn’t hesitate to call him again for some more recent work. A date and time was agreed working around my schedule. Andy and Ashley (younger version) arrived promptly and changed over two large lounge lights, they also found a wiring fault in the bathroom switch within seconds and fixed it with little fuss. Both Andy and Ashley are polite, professional electricians that I will defiantly use again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I needed power sockets (and armored cabling) to be moved from one shed to another. Also light fittings installed in new shed. Andy was the third company I received a quote from and decided to go with him as he conducted himself professionally during the initial visit to my house, smart, knowledgeable, experienced, respectful (offered to take shoes off when viewing fuse board in house etc). Also as I already had two other quotes from different electricians, I knew Andy's overall quote was reasonable for the work required. Andy responded to communications promptly, and arrived on time to conduct the work. Explained what he was doing in a straight forward manner and just got on with it. When the work was finished, Andy cleared up after himself and showed me the work, really tidy/neat cabling work. I was impressed.
