Howarths are refurbishing our bungalow. A fairly major change inside and out. I cannot speak highly enough of the team. 1) good price, one of the lower prices we were quoted 2) honest, stick to prices. Charge every 2 weeks or so for work done, very open and clear about pricing 3) honest, good to advise on things where you need help often where this may cause you to go elsewhere for something to save money. 4) trustworthy, the main day to day contact has become someone we like to have around and miss on the days he's elsewhere. He helps us and goes above and beyond, I get the impression this is valued across the business. 5)prompt, although not yet complete the weekly meetings with Roy help us to know that the project is on track. A gantt chart is kept updated. 6) flexible, inevitably changes are needed or adjustments required. This is never treated as a problem. All questions are answered in a non condescending manner 7) relaxing, a refurbishment is stressful but Howarths make this much easier, none of my stress comes from the builders 8) communication, every week we have a catch up with Roy or whenever I have a question. Every day I can speak to those on site and get any snags resolved quickly. There is an ongoing list of questions which need our input these are linked with the project plan so we in know when answers are needed by. 9) tidy, OK there is an inevitable mess but this is kept to a minimum and the guys on site encourage us to look round and make sure it is safe to do so after they are done. The project is not yet complete but I have complete confidence that Howarths will continue as they have since it started. Thank you Howarths!
