Hayes Electrical

Thoroughly professional and detailed work for an Electrical Installation Condition Report. Would highly recommend

We recently had Hayes Electrical carry out a complete rewire of our house, and from start to finish it was a first-class job. Jamie, the owner, came out to look at the property before we committed to anything and talked us through exactly what a full rewire would involve — what would need lifting, where the disruption would be worst, how long each stage would take and what it would cost. The quote was clear and itemised, with no vague "we'll see when we get there" caveats, and the final bill matched what we'd been told at the outset. Jamie and Harry did the bulk of the work on site and were a pleasure to have around. They arrived when they said they would, worked steadily through each day, and were careful and tidy — dust sheets down, floors put back, everything swept up before they left. Anyone who's lived through a rewire knows how much difference that makes when you're trying to carry on as normal in the middle of it. The workmanship itself is excellent. New consumer unit, everything tested and certified properly, and all the paperwork handed over without us having to chase for it. They also took on a few extras that we'd half-expected to be told were too much hassle: they sorted out our outside lighting, set up multi-way switching so we can control lights from more than one point around the house, and got the fob system working exactly as we wanted. Nothing was treated as an inconvenience — Jamie and Harry just talked through the options with us and got on with it. Special mention to the kitchen speakers. That one was entirely Jamie's suggestion — it hadn't even occurred to us, but he pointed out that while the ceiling was open it was the ideal time to do it. We're so glad we listened. They sound superb, they're neatly installed with no clutter, and they've completely changed how we use the kitchen. It's the sort of recommendation you only get from someone who's thinking about how you'll actually live in the house rather than just ticking off the job in front of them. What stood out most, though, was how easy they were to deal with. They explained things in plain English, answered every question without making us feel like we were wasting their time, and were happy for us to change our minds on a couple of details as the job progressed. Honest, skilled, reliable tradesmen who clearly take pride in their work. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hayes Electrical to anyone considering a rewire or any electrical work, and they'll be our first call in future. Thanks Jamie and Harry — the house feels transformed.

We have been using Jamie and his team for sometime now and would highly recommend them. Professional, Helpful, Polite and reliable.

Hayes electrics gave us a wonderful service.Jamie is so knowledgeable and came up with great ideas.Workmanship was great as well he and he was very friendly. He put some lights in the kitchen and he put a electric car port in.

AMAZING job on light installation and partial rewire. Great finish and communication the whole way through the project. Cannot recommend enough. Would use again!

Jamie,is very polite, and very professional at his work, highly recommend

Great service, reasonably priced. Extremely quick to send the paperwork needed and great communication. I will be using Jamie again.

Jamie has done a fantastic job on all the occasions we’ve used his services. Complex wiring for a new cooker, installing electricity to a shed and replacing our ancient fuse board. Great guys, reliable and tidy. I wouldn’t use anyone else

Excellent and immediate service with no fuss. Can highly recommend

Great service, would definitely use again!

Due to disability, I recently needed to have an entry system fitted. I contacted a number of local firms. Many didn't even reply, those that did said they were too busy currently. When I explained why I needed it fitted a couple agreed to get back to me, but Jamie was the only one that actually followed up on that. When he was able to come it wasn't a straightforward job, and he probably wished he hadn't. However, I was kept informed at every stage and I'm now able to safely provide access to help when it's needed and I really don't know what I'd have done if Jamie hadn't been as conscientious as he is about getting back to every enquiry. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or to recommend him to others.

Jamie was quick to reply and arrange a visit. The job was completed efficiently.

Jamie of Hayes Electrical was highly recommended to me through a retired work associate I trust. I was not disappointed. Jamie is professional, personable and knowledgeable. He refitted a bathroom light and an upper hallway fitting. He also repaired an outside double socket. He has good communication skills and comes across as very keen to do a good job for a fair price. He explains what needs doing and why while offering alternative solutions which I feel is important. I needed to call him back as I changed my mind about the lights and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone that is looking from anything minor to major rewiring or outdoor lighting. I would 100% recommemd Jamie to any of my family and friends.

I was recommended to speak to Jamie from a neighbour who was very pleased with his work. Jamie has recently completed his work in wiring some new outdoor buildings and installing some new fuse boxes that were in a poor state of repair. I have to say that Jamie has been 100% professional in his methodical approach to his work and also being very flexible to some slight changes in our ongoing circumstances with additional work focussed on our safety. First class service. Highly recommended.

Outstanding work. Great.value. Trustworthy, reliable, professional & friendly service.

I couldn't have been happier with Jamie's work. He was punctual and professional, took great care in his work and dealt with everything without any problems.

Will definitely use Hayes electrical again. A very honest, reliable and caring business.

Hays electrical is a first class company with very high knowledge, fantastic workmanship great service and very clean I would recommend them as a number one company.

Jamie was the electrician the bathroom fitters used and he quoted as I was having the upstairs of the house refurbished and he knew the layout as his grandfather lives a few houses away so knew all the issues that were there!! Very pleasant and very friendly and nothing was too much for him. I will use him for the downstairs, when I get there!! Thanks very much

Jamie came and connected electricity to our new garden office, and some lights and new plug sockets in the garage. He was great! Very professional and personable. When he came to see what work we wanted he was enthusiastic and gave us some great ideas and solutions. The works were all carried out to a very high standard and very neat and tidy. We highly recommend Hayes Electrical.

Well, what can I say but, WOW! Jamie is, without doubt, the best electrician anyone could ever wish for! I needed a new consumer unit and a new cable run between the consumer unit, the isolator switch and the shower, which involved running the full length of the hallway. Access to do this is quite limited, so thought he may have to run surface trunking in places, which I can't stand, so I told Jamie, please try to use as little amount, if any, of trunking as possible. Well, no trunking, and other than having a new consumer unit and isolator switch, and a working shower, you would never had known Jamie had been here. Truly truly fantastic! Amazing job! Brilliant! Thank you Jamie, you are an absolute superstar! Anyone who needs any electrical work doing, look no further, Jamie's your man! If anyone i know, or hear of, needs electrical work done, I will definitely be recommending Jamie. Highly highly recommended!

I would definitely recommend Jamie and his team at Hayes Electrical. We really needed an electrician as soon as possible and he managed to fit us in within the time frame we had and they are friendly, affordable and efficient. Thank you so much.

Just had Jamie renew my fuse box and my sons earlier in the week. Great job. Very professional nothing to much trouble. And very reasonable rates. Highly recommend Jamie if your looking for an electrician. Graham mills

I really couldn't be anymore happy with Jamies's service. Supplied and fitted with care and a smile. I will certainly use Jamie's services again. I felt completely at ease that he knew what he was doing, something that seems to be rare these days. Pricing was spot on too! Thank you Jamie I would of given 10 stars if allowed.

Highly professional, skilled electrian. Jamie is friendly, reliable, honest, hardworking, neat and tidy. He installed a hall light for us, only a small job, but highly recommended & it will be a pleasure to employ him again for any future electrical tasks.

Jamie installed an outside socket for us, a very neat job, left no mess behind, was very polite & professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely call again in the future!! Thank you!!

A fantastic job! Thoroughly pleased with the outcome! Right from the start, Jamie was clearly explaining the options and giving ideas of what could be possible with outside electrics / lights. If I have any future electric jobs that need doing Hayes Electrical, will be the one to do the job!

Very good service from Jamie. I needed electrics and lighting for my twin garage. I was very happy with the work he carried out and his suggestions were useful. Excellent workmanship and professional attitude. Highly recommend.

Excellent service from Jamie. Consulted prior to designing an electrical system for our cabin, incorporating our wishes, and was flexible when there were small changes, informing and facilitating, very knowledgable. When there was an issue, it was immediately rectified, he’s always reachable and helpful. Very pleased with the end result. Grateful, thank you Jamie

As always a great professional friendly and well priced job from Jamie! 👍

THE BEST ELECTRICIAN!!!! Jamie is a hardworking perfectionist ,and carries out his work to a high standard, he went above and beyond what I expected (eg removing unsightly cables etc and fixing a dodgy 2 way light switch in addition to the work I had asked for ) he explained in depth what work had been carried out and what would need doing in the future. He turned up when he said he would and his time keeping was impeccable (which often doesn’t happen in my experience of dealing with multiple tradesmen ) Would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Jamie is a very good, skilled and proactive electrical contractor. Straightforward and a pleasure to work with.

Excellent electrician and very reliable. He leaves no mess; has a rubbish bin with him when he works which he takes with him. He is also very personable and a joy to have around the house. Many thanks.

Hayes Electrical (Jamie) recently installed some lighting and sockets to our local Girlguiding camp site, it was quite a complicated brief but Jamie listened well and made some good recommendations based on our requirements. The work was completed to an excellent standard with good communication and punctuality from Jamie throughout and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hayes Electrical and will definitely be using them again for any future projects.

Jamie, has done amazing job in our house. He had to rewire an old Victorian flat and then install led strip(Foss) in all the rooms. Thank you for the hard work and your professionalism Jamie.

Fantastic and professional. Has been incredibly helpful at advising on the work we needed to make sure it was done the best way it could be, and so we'd be happy with it.

Jamie at Hayes Electrical has been my go to electrician for a number of years now. None of the requests I've made to him regarding electrical installations have caused any issues and the work has always been carried out promptly and to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Hayes Electrical if you are looking for a conscientious, professional courteous and extremely competitively priced electrical installation company.

I use Hayes electrical on multiple projects always an excellent service and exceptional workmanship ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very helpful. Great service and competitive quotes. Goes that extra mile to resolve issues and up with solutions rather than problems. Highly recommend.

Jamie has touched every wire in our house over the last 2 years, from a complete rewire, to little extras that we have asked for, he's clean, tidy, prompt and fair priced. Can't go wrong with Hayes Electrical

Jamie is a very conscientious guy who works to a very high standard. We had our garden landscaped last year & he came up with some great ideas. He’s been back to do more work for us and he’s coming again this month. I’ll never use another electrician.

5 Based on 33 reviews LEAVE REVIEW Simon We had two outside lights installed at the front and rear of the property. Very happy with the work will use again. Reliable service would recommend. Katie Noble Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Jamie gave an initial quote (based on photos) to fit a new consumer unit. After receiving his very competitive quote, we asked if he could pop over to see some other bits we'd like doing. Within a day he'd been over, talked us through the work and sent a quote (again very competitive). Needless to say we booked in for a couple of weeks time. Today, Jamie turned up at 8am (as promised) and spent the day fitting a new consumer unit, chasing approx. 3m of thick, unsightly cable into the wall (which lead out to our garden room) and replaced three (hideous) double surface mounted boxes with nice, new flush ones. I quite literally left him to it (whilst I went to work) and received a text around 3pm to advise he was finished. Returned home to all the work complete and a very tidy front room. Couldn't recommend Jamie (aka Hayes Electrical) enough. Reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, tidy and clearly great at what he does.

We have used Jamie three times since moving in to our new house last year. He has completed the work excellently, often going beyond what we have asked for, offering advice and all to a competitive price. Communication has been spot on too and we cannot recommend him highly enough.
