I've gone with MDS Electrical a couple of times now, firstly to upgrade a residential consumer unit and most recently to install some new external power sockets. Sam and Ciran have both been very responsive to enquiries, have great attention to detail and kept me fully updated throughout, and Martin is entirely what one would want from a competent, professional electrician - on time, tidy, friendly and the end result is exactly what I wanted. Can't recommend enough and would (will!) happily use them again for future projects.

My uncle called as power had gone out, they managed to talk him through the steps to get it up and running. And didn't even charge, can't thank them enough for their understanding and help I'd give them 10 stars of I could.

I was recommended to use Martin after an appeal to get a decent, reliable electrician to come and do some work for me. Martin was very prompt at getting out to me too give me a quote and look at the work I needed doing. On the day Martin was very clean and tidy. It didn’t even look like he had been and done any work! I had 3 outdoor double sockets fitted. One that needed to be installed in my greenhouse. Great job and really pleased with the work completed. Would absolutely recommend Martin. Thanks again

After a lot of searching for a good, reliable electrician I came across MDS Electrical, was given a quote at beginning of the week and the job was done at the end of the week, Martin is very friendly and did exactly what was needed quickly and cleanly at a very competitive price, am already getting a quote for more work and have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

We had MDS recommended to us for a number of odd jobs around the house. They were very responsive and managed to book us in quickly. The work was carried out to a high standard and at a competitive price. Would recommend.

Moved to Peterborough recently. My electric shower failed first day of moving in. I was let down by numerous electricians who were full of promises which never materialised and the "we will ring you straight back" merchants who thought it would be OK to ring back 2 weeks later! Luckily I found MDS Electrical. They turned up when they said they would and communicated very well The job was properly priced and given to you before the job commenced. They got my shower up and running again and completed my re wiring/consumer box installation within the timescale agreed. If you want a reliable, competent and professional electrician at a fair price, I'd fully recommend MDS Electrical

We have used these guys twice now and both times have received quality service. They are professional and talk you through what they are going to do as well as the finished work. Their quotes are clear and don’t leave you with any surprises. Highly recommend them

Prompt communication and date for job, turned up when agreed and completed job as requested and cleaned up after

Where several others had let us down MDS quite literally saved the day. Huge thanks to Sam the office manager for always replying swiftly and to Martin the electrician on site who made sure the brief was met and understood all our needs. I will definitely be using them again for future clients and could not recommend them more. Finding reliable people has been a huge challenge until meeting MDS.

I have issues raised with the standard of work carried out by this company, and several weeks after trying to contact the owner I still have no response . In my last letter to him I stated that I thought by the 30th April was a fair ask. Will post further details if answers are not forthcoming

Martin came as arranged & on time to install a new extractor fan in the bathroom, replace an outside light & install lights in my conservatory. All the work was completed as agreed, & the area was left clean and tidy. Martin was friendly and professional at all times, would definitely use MDS Electrical again

Great service from start to finish. On time, kept updated. Superb quality installation and finish. Friendly, reliable service and would not hesitate to book again, in fact we have !

Martin from MDS Electrical carried out a review of our circuits and switches as part of our compliance with insurance requirements. He was professional and offered very clear advice at every stage of the review and took the trouble to speak directly with our insurance providers to ensure that everything was in line with their requirements. I will definitely use MDS again and recommend them highly.

Martin was professional and on time when he came to my property to do fuseboard testing. He gave me advice on what recommendations he would add to the fuseboard, such us protector rings and sacrificial surge protectors. Martin spent a good amount of time testing all switches, sockets and electricals within the property and I will deffo use MDS electricial's services again.

The guys from MDS turned up within the specified time and cracked on with the tasks at hand. In advance we sent MDS information on replacement light/fan fittings we had purchased and you could tell they had done their homework regarding fitting, requirements etc. Disturbance to the remaining house electrics was almost non-existent so life for us could continue normally in the main. Both were friendly and polite to chat with throughout the day. Once all items completed a quick demo as to what had been done (even in roof space) was carried out with and all was working perfectly once a small tweak to the living room switches were made. Everything was left tidy (dust sheets and empty component boxes were used to capture debris etc.) and rooms were hoovered before finishing for the day. Even talking to the office when paying and asking a few minor questions the following working day were dealt with by friendly people who listened and actioned things. We would highly recommend MDS Electrical for all electrical works and would not hesitate to call on them again.

Very profession install and fantastic work. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an electrician

I would like to thank Martin from MDS Electrical for the work he did sorting out our outside lighting. Work was done in a timely fashion, we were also given some good advice on fixing a second light under our storm porch and everything was left clean and tidy when the job was finished. Martin came over to relocate some of the soctes in my living room and also to install some double sockets in my fire place He was friendly and helpful. Very tidy with his work. Very happy with the work carried out and will definitely be using again for any future works. Would 100% recommend to friends and family.

Dear Martin, I would like to say a huge thank-you for your service recently. Sadly, during lockdown our garden was entered, and thieves broke into our shed and stole 2 bikes. We were very concerned that they were disturbed as there are lots of power tools in the shed, and we worried they would return again. We had an old security light in the garden which was not working and no security on the shed. This was a really upsetting and stressful experience for us. Not just because the bikes were stolen, but because someone had come into our garden and been that close to our home, where we were sleeping. On becoming aware of this Martin very kindly offered to come around and fit a new motion-censored security light for us. He ordered and collected the security light we needed and even though he was very busy, he came to our home and installed the new security light for us within a few days. We installed an alarm on the shed ourselves and this, matched with the security light, has left us sleeping much sounder at night. Thank-you Martin for going out of your way for us and helping make us feel safe at home again. I would to hesitate to recommend you to others and have already recommended you to our neighbours who were aware of the break-in. Many thanks, once more. Hazel Cottrell.

Martin was an exceptional electrician and I would fully recommend him for any electrical work. The quality of his work was first class and his time-keeping was exceptional. Dear Martin I just wanted to thank you again for going above and beyond in December 2019 regarding some electrical work required at our offices in Thorney. You liaised with Will in my office regarding a convenient time for you to come in as the electrical works required our server to be taken offline for a period of time, so the ideal scenario was an early morning appointment, before the majority of staff arrived. You were happy to arrange this and duly came along early, met Will at our office, carried out the required electrical works and had already left by the time I arrived at the office. In fact, everything was so smooth and efficient, I completely overlooked the fact that you had been in the office until Will reminded me. I would like to thank you for going above and beyond to help the smooth running of my business and would no hesitation in recommending you to friends, family, colleagues and of course business associates. Thornton Holmes Director Orchid Financial Services Ltd

He solved our problem and we will be getting him back in the new year to replace them. In a way we are glad our oven element bust, as we will now get those kitchen lights sorted.

Really pleased with the quality of the work

My husband and I have been looking for a qualified electrician. After being let down we had a leaflet through the door. I do not normally respond to these but i was glad that I did. MDS came and gave a very competitive quote. The work was done to high standard and was even followed up with an email to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend MDS and will definitely use the again.

I would like to thank you for the outstanding work you have carried out just recently, not only for myself but also my mum, Maralyn. I mentioned to you briefly at a BNI meeting that my electric oven was making a very loud noise. I was concerned that it would just stop working but had been prolonging replacing it because I knew I would be having a new kitchen in the near future. You suggested going along to Currys PC World and buying one of their cheaper ovens because they all come with a guarantee nowadays and you could then install it for me, so I had peace of mind. I called you immediately once I had purchased the new oven and you came to my house on a Saturday morning, took out the old appliance, installed the new one and even took away my old oven too which was a wonderful surprise. With regard to my mum, she had been worrying about outside lighting for her house as she is a widow and lives alone. I met you at my mum’s property, you listened to what she wanted, made recommendations and installed the sensor lighting for her. Not only did you do that, you went back later that same day in the evening to check the lights were working properly and that they were activating when they should be and even sent pictures to me so I could see them too. My mum is over the moon with the work you have done for her. It therefore goes without saying that I would have no hesitation in recommending you to my family, friends and colleagues and you are now also doing work for my sister and brother in law. Thank you so much.

Thanks for your work today MDS Electrical, spot lights have changed the ambiance of the main bedroom. Arrived on time, no mess and well informed from start to finish. Definitely use Martin again 👍👍👍

Martin has done several jobs for me. He found a fault in a light which was causing all the bulbs to blow, he has installed a security light and a new bathroom light fitting. He has also installed a timer on my oil fired boiler and after consultation provided me with a wireless room thermostat. The thermostat is a great piece of kit and has definitely saved me oil this last winter. Martin is never pushy, he discusses your needs and works within your budget, he is punctual, professional and very tidy. I would recommend him to anyone looking for electrical work.

I’ve used MDS electrical for a few years now. Always punctual, hard working and fair.

Thanks for upgrading my consumer unit. Hope you'll be able to rewire the kitchen before Christmas.

Martin has carried out numerous electrical jobs for me of all different descriptions, each time he has been 100% professional and reliable. I would highly recommend.

MDS Electrial has really impressed me. Martin fitted 9 lights in our house, while I was out at work. He was prompt, professional and I would have him in my house any time.

Worked with Martin on a few different sites that we look after the refrigeration on. His work is always completed promptly and to a high standard. His knowledge makes it a pleasure to work with him.

Martin has completed several jobs for us. 1 job being upgrading our fuse box, all work has been done to a high standard at a reasonable price. Would and have recommended.

MDS came to fit a shop bought Hive thermostat to my boiler. All work was carried out in a quick efficient manner and was extremely competitive price wise compared to the prices other electricians wanted to charge. He even phoned ahead in advance to ensure we were in as he finished work elsewhere early. Top stuff

We employed Martin on numerous jobs most, notably to install a new electrical feed to our external cabin and give us lighting and power in there. He has always been extremely courteous and always done an very professional job from start to finish and covered all of our needs. Always very happy with his work and will continue to use and recommend his services.
