Breedon Electrical Ltd

Neale is an excellent electrician. Responds quickly, explains things well, well priced, does a very good job and is tidy and polite. Couldn’t really ask for more. We’re pleased to find a good electrician and will be asking him for more work in future.

We recently purchased a property where Breedon Electrical Ltd had previously carried out the EICR. The report identified a number of remedial works that needed attention, so we contacted Breedon again to carry everything through. The team were fantastic from start to finish. They spent two days at the property last week completing all of the remedial works identified in the original EICR, and it was clear that everything was carried out thoroughly and professionally. They were punctual, tidy, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and we felt completely confident in the work they were doing. It was also great to receive the new electrical certificates confirming the works that had been completed. Buying a new home can be stressful enough, so having an electrical team you can trust makes a huge difference. We’re really pleased with the work and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Breedon Electrical Ltd to anyone looking for a professional, reliable and trustworthy electrician. Fantastic service. Thank you to the whole team!

Fantastic experience using Breedon Electrical. Neale made it extremely easy from start to finish, sourcing everything we asked for exactly as we asked for. We added a few extra jobs a couple of weeks before Neale was due to start with us and nothing was too much trouble for him, he even managed to rope in an extra pair of hands to make sure everything was completed with the least disruption possible to us! Would highly recommend Breedon Electrical and will definitely be using them going forward!

Now I'm driving an EV I looked around at EV charging installation pricing and after a Google search, it was clear that Breedon Electrical Ltd were the best choice having read the reviews on Google maps. Neale came out and checked our distribution board etc. and advised what would be required to install the EV charger. We discussed the location and cable routing options and Neale was able to provide me with a quote in a couple of days. When I accepted the quote a date was set, on the day Neale and Richard arrived in the morning and set to work, with minimal disruption they got on and I have to say the workmanship from both was superb, second to none. Once the installation was complete Neale took me through the steps to connect my phone to the charger and showed me how to charge the car. I cannot fault their work and I will most definitely recommend them and when I have any other electrical work to be done I'll be calling Breedon Electrical Ltd. Excellent job Neale and Richard, thank you 👍

Very efficient, polite and excellent tradesman

First came across Breedon Electrical in association with a bathroom conversion, when Alex did a super neat job. Got them back to replace our consumer unit and necessary remedial work. Neale is professional, communicated really well and his team of four completed the job in a day. Tidy and easy to have around. Highly recommended.

Having been let down by a couple of local contractors, I decided to try Neale as I saw that he was well recommended on the local chat forums. Neale has been a breath of fresh air to deal with, he’s professional, thorough, has some good lads working with him and most importantly does what he says he’s going to do when he says he’s going to do it. Will be using Neale for all of my electrical needs going forward.

The whole process, dealing initially with Neale to the installation being carried out by Alex, was faultless. The job was done to a high standard and afterwards, we couldn't tell they'd been! We had Neale and his team come to rewire our house in October 2025.Neale was very professional and friendly from our first meeting to job completion. Everything was explained in detail and Neal made sure that the rewire suited our requirements. Although rewiring a complete house is a messy job his team did their best working around us making sure we could still live at home while the work was undertaken. As we stare at the TV that isn't working and the dark staircase that won't be lit we become frozen with panic (unlike the freezer that is getting warmer and warmer). Sam was just a down-to-earth professional that knows what he's doing and takes the time to explain what and why he's undertaking the task. For many of us who know very little about electrics this is very reassuring. Needless to say, normal service is now resumed. Personable, punctual and skilful - highly recommended. Thanks to Lumlec Electrical.

Lumlec completed a full rewire on a 1920s semi. They are very professional, everything discussed is documented, so that nothing is forgotten or missed, and both parties have a written specification to work to, so even this renovation, which was a bit stop/start over a fair few months, was completed as planned. The Building Regs certificate arrived literally the day they finished. The quality of work is excellent, neat and to a high standard, to the extent that trades following on comment on how good it is. The two partners, Sam and Neale, are a delight to work with and bent over backwards to help fit in unplanned extras. This is the 4th project they have helped on - I would highly recommend them!

Lumlec installed our new electric double oven, but also did all the brand new wiring needed (as it was a gas oven there previously) as well as putting in a new smaller consumer unit. They got back to me very quickly, Neale turned up to do the quote when he said he would, the quote was reasonable and they arrived to do the work exactly as planned. On the day Sam went the extra mile crawling under our floorboards to get the cabling in, and we were really impressed with how clean and tidy everything was left afterwards and their professional approach to the whole job. We will definitely be using Lumlec again for any electrical work and would recommend them.

It was really nice working with Neale. He is very patient and very neat. Good workmanship as well. I will always recommend!

Called within an hour and got an emergency solution to get the majority of my electrics back on including my essentials. Calling back for a long-term solution. Very professional, would definitely recommend.

Neale was very professional and sorted the issue quickly.

Came by promptly and Neale was very professional. Big thumbs up

Neale and George were incredibly professional when they had to sort out an issue with lack of electric last week at our property. They were paitent when stuff needed moving that I hadn't expected to need to move, to get to where they needed to get to fix it. Overall just lovely service polite, and they got the problem fixed, even if it was a little more complicated than I had originally assumed.

Neale was an excellent tradesman. He was polite, clean, very professional in what he did and I have no hesitation in recommending him or asking him to do further work in the future. The quote was very fair and his work to a very high standard. Thank you

We recently had Neale and George totally rewire our house. We moved out for a week to let them get on with it and not get under their feet. After 6 days the job was complete- wow, so surprised at how clean and tidy our house was. Only one small job to do - to stick a piece of wallpaper back, and touch up paint around new sockets and light switches, job done. I was expecting weeks of putting things right but after moving back it was done in a day. Very happy with the result. I would highly recommend them.

Can’t fault Neale or the excellent quality of his work. A genuinely nice man who is happy to give advice, is meticulously tidy and willing to do any job large or small to the same high standard. Wouldn’t ever consider using anyone else!

Very Helpful sorted immediately Thanks

We used Lumlec to provide all the electrics for our utility room, cloakroom and outdoor lighting. They made a huge effort to ensure all the work was finished ahead of a family party, including coming back on the day of the party because one of the light fittings was wrong (this was not their fault). They were on-time, professional, efficient and, importantly, nice chaps. I would whole heartedly recommend them and their work and will definitely use them again.

Very professional, highly recommend. Top Class service, will definitely use again.

Arrived on time..very polite young man ... good price ... would definitely recommend to friends and family..thank you

The service from Lumlec Electrical was truly remarkable! The entire process, from our initial contact to the completion of the work, was speedy, effortless, and absolutely fantastic. We reached out to them for a quote since we had already utilised their services for a previous project last year, and we were incredibly impressed. They exceeded our expectations by going the extra mile. Not only were they friendly and professional, but they were also an absolute pleasure to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Fast, efficient & friendly

A very positive experience for us. The team from Lumlec Electrical who carried out an electrical re wire for us were very professional and did exactly as they promised to a high standard, and within the time frame they gave. We could not have been more pleased, and we have no hesitation in giving a five star recommendation to this company.

We needed a new cinsumer unit all electrics checked as we was having a new kitchen in the extension. We had new LED low energy spotlights fitted. We had new sockets and lights switches some re-located. We had a kitchen ring main cicuit due to extra appliances being fitted through into the extensiin. Lumlec was very ameniable with some changes we made due to some delays with the kitchen. They managed to finish works on another day which was great so it did not delay us any further. Really appreciated this. Lighting to lower and upper level of units was fitted and complete. They were friendly, professiinal and tidied up after work had been carried out.

This inspection and later repairs was done very professionally with very little disturbance. It was carried out in a manner which made me feel that I was getting the job done by someone who was very knowledgeable and made me feel safe, that everything was checked and safe. I would personally recommend this company to any one of my friends with great confidence.

Neale from Lumlec came to our house to look at an electrical fault on our outside workshop. He advised the best way forward was to swap a mcb on our main circuit board for a rcbo, this solved the problem. He was very personable and explained what he was going to do. We recently had a smart meter foisted on us and the fitter was concerned that the tails in the meter box weren’t big enough. They were replaced and an inspection was carried out. The gentlemen were thorough, professional and friendly. They explained things clearly and made sure not to leave a mess. I will definitely use Lumlec again.

I found Neale to be very friendly, had a caring attitude to the work he was doing as well as offering advice & answering any questions I had. On time and carried out an additional job I asked him for. Would use again & would not hesitate to recommend.

Very happy with work done by Neale. He arrived on time and date specified, worked hard all day to connect electrics to our split system heating and air conditioning units. Price was reasonable for time and work done. Neale explained what was required to do the job and the power was only off for the minimum amount of time. I have asked Neale to do some more work for us, to fit some outside lights. I now class Neale as my go to electrician whenever we need electrical work done.

Sam, Neale and their team are not just electricians but capable specialists in other areas. I've used them for hi-spec burglar alarm installation, security lighting, Smart TV integration, underfloor heating, new consumer unit, lighting, sockets, and work on installing a new kitchen with several electrical appliances. A great team.
