After the initial call, he arrived within 15 mins (absolute max), he fixed the problem that we had, advised us on how to avoid the same problem in the future. He was extremely friendly, reliable and trustworthy and I would recommend trying this company as your first bet - we tried 3 other companies that had good reviews on google before, but no one even answered the phone! He answered straight away and helped us so much, more than we were even expecting. Give him a pay rise!

Re-wired 1930's semi. I can't recommend Steve and his team highly enough. From start to finish Steve was contactable, knowledgeable and professional. Steve worked with us throughout to not just replace the existing wires etc. but future-proof the house, giving suggestions and ideas, whilst letting us make the decisions. BEC's ratings across different websites were constantly high, which almost looks too good to be true, but I can see why and I will certainly use BEC again for any future work.
Try to install a new bathroom ceiling light but the old electric wires from the ceiling is not colour coded to the ceiling light.Steve and Ben did great job recorrect the connections wires,bathroom ceiling light now in working order. Fantastic service! I phoned at the really awkward time between Christmas and NYE in dire straits as our fusebox kept tripping every few minutes and turning all of our electricity off! At first, the lovely electrician who helped us (so sorry I don't know his name and have just saved the number in my phone as fantastic electrician!) was fully booked up and tried to guide me through a few fixes over the phone on his way to his next job. When these didn't work, he said that he would come by after he had finished all his other jobs at around 5pm. He phoned me at about 3pm to ask if it was ok to come round earlier (of course!!). Frustratingly, the fault seems to be intermittent, but he checked a few things over, advised us what to do if it happened again and said if it did happen again that night to phone him and he would come straight away as he was only half an hours drive away (which actually seems very far to me, so that was lovely). Also ended up only charging half of what he'd quoted (extremely reasonable, especially when compared to the only other company available who had quoted £260 more!) for the advice and call-out. Thank you so much, I cannot recommend enough!!

We contacted Steve after moving into a new home and finding out the wiring wasn't up to scratch. Unlike most electricians we've used in the past, he was super responsive, provided a straightforward quote, arrived on time, and went above and beyond to make sure the work was done to a high standard. Steve recently fully rewired my house. As first time buyers this was a big project for us, and he was really helpful and patient and gave loads of great advice. He initially came and surveyed the property before we had purchased it, and provided us with a list of the defects and a full quote breakdown which helped us to renegotiate the purchase price. After we had completed the sale, Steve came back and spent time going round the house with us in more detail to plan the electrical works, giving helpful suggestions and recommendations. During the work he was extremely professional, polite, and tidied up as he went along. He completed all of the agreed work on time, and we could not be happier with the quality of the installation and the overall cost. We would not hesitate to recommend Steve, and will definitely come back to him for any work we want to do in the future.

The work done by Steven and his crew was amazing. We were kept in the loop with daily updates both verbally and pictures. Rewiring a house is a messy process, but we would not have known as we came back to everything tidied up. Steven was polite throughout and continued to be after the job was complete. I had three single sockets between my 3 bedrooms. Steve and Lee quoted me the day I called them and 3 days later I had 11 new sockets installed and an upgraded fusebox. They were great fun to chat to, punctual, tidy (the place looked much better afterwards than it did before they got there!), very knowledgeable, took great care to ensure what they were doing was exactly what we wanted me and very reasonable price wise too! They even offered to hang a new TV that arrived while they were here. I'd strongly recommend having them out to do any work and will definitely be calling on them in the future if I need any work done.
