It’s not easy to find someone reliable, but Mo was excellent from start to finish. I had a horrible experience with this company, and the issues remain unresolved to this day. I am listing the key points of my experience below: 1. Unnecessary Work & Double Charging The electrician, Mo, performed unnecessary work that was not part of the initial agreement and then insisted on charging me for both the original job and the unrequested extras. 2. Aggressive Payment Demands Without Invoice Mo pressured me to pay immediately before providing an invoice. As a landlord with 14–15 years of experience, I maintained that payments are strictly made upon receipt of a valid invoice. This triggered a "nightmare" scenario where he began threatening me and harassing me with incessant phone calls. 3. Threats of Trespassing and Criminal Damage The situation escalated when Mo threatened that if I did not pay instantly, he would send people to "break down the door" of my property to "take back" the work he had done. I provided all the materials; he provided labour only. His threat was essentially an intent to break into my property and commit criminal damage. As it was getting dark, I had to urgently contact my tenants and neighbours, advising them not to open the door to him or any strangers and to call the police immediately if anyone attempted to break in. This ordeal lasted until 7 PM. 4. Malicious Allegations He falsely accused me of running an illegal HMO and threatened to report me. All my properties are fully compliant and legal; I do not fear official inspections, but I am now forced to be on constant alert for his malicious harassment. 5. Verbal Abuse & Discrimination Mo insulted me personally, mocking my English and claiming I didn’t know what I was talking about. Such discriminatory and unprofessional behaviour is utterly unacceptable. Current Status & Communication with Management: I have opened and escalated a ticket on MyConstructor, providing all details via email, and am currently awaiting the platform’s response. Although I have updated the branch manager on this progress, he has strangely refused to wait for the platform’s mediation. Instead, he issued an invoice containing the disputed extra charges and threatened me with legal action if not paid by Tuesday. The manager has failed to address my three fundamental questions: 1. How will he address the verbal abuse and threats made by Mo? 2. How will he rectify the unjustified extra charges still present on the invoice? 3. Will the company guarantee the release of the EICR certificate once the reasonable portion of the bill is paid? Given the circumstances, I have lost all trust in this company. I am considering reporting the records of this inspection to the relevant industry accreditation bodies for formal verification. Such conduct from an electrician—encompassing both fraudulent billing and threats—is absolutely unacceptable.
I found Essi online for a EIRC check, came on Good Fri BH 3rd April, promptly and was professional and friendly. The fuse box needed upgrading due to new regulations, discussing the regs, reasoning and clear transparent pricing. He was able to complete this upgrade the next day 4th April, agreed to 8am, arrived on time. Work completed in 3 hrs. I would like to provide genuine feedback for an excellent service I received in less than 24hrs for a non emergency. I would highly recommend Essi and will definitely use him again. Thank you 5*

Great response from the Facebook page, I need to get it done asap, Essi, reminded and was very polite, It took couple of days extra around bank holiday but the work was done to good quality and as said, price was reasonable but I selected them because of the way Essi has come across and then came back because one part wasn’t delivered on time and he fix it without chasing him. These are kind of people who prefer to do quality work not just take the contract and keep you lingering. Thank you
