Had AK out at one of our rentals in Salford and he's the electrician we'll be using from now on. Came out quickly, and rather than just doing the job he was booked for he checked things properly and found the RCD in the board had failed, which meant the house had no earth fault protection at all. Nobody knew. He had it sorted the same afternoon. He does things the right way instead of the quick way, and he doesn't bill you for every last thing either, there were a couple of bits he just took care of off his own back. We recently booked this team to replace a faulty bathroom extractor fan, and we couldn't be happier with the service. They arrived on time, were professional, polite, and friendly throughout. I had a fantastic experience with AK Electrical Services. From the very first phone call, Abdullah was incredibly helpful and took the time to talk me through possible troubleshooting steps rather than immediately insisting on a visit, which I really appreciated and felt was very considerate. When it became clear they needed to come out, they were completely transparent about pricing upfront and very fair with the final bill. Once at the property, Abdullah clearly explained and showed me everything that needed attention and made the situation safe straight away. They then returned the next day to properly resolve the larger issue. Throughout the process, I was kept informed at every step and when additional problems were discovered, everything was communicated clearly before any extra work was done. I really recommend AK Electrical services. I had a nightmare experience with a previous electrician who poorly installed a new consumer unit and failed to provide any of the legal documentation. Abdullah & his guys came in, immediately identified several safety issues with the previous work, and rectified everything to a high standard which basically involved replacing the previously installed consumer unit. Most importantly, they provided a full Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) and confirmed they had notified Building Control as required by Part P regulations. It’s such a relief to finally have a safe, fully certified home. They are professional, knowledgeable, and highly recommended.

Contacted AK Electrical when our switch tripped and one of the circuits would not turn on again. The emergency callout fee was substantial but clearly explained. They arrived within an hour, systematically diagnosed the issue and worked hard to ensure it was fixed within the first hour. This avoided a charge for the second hour when they could easily have spun it out. The two guys who came were courteous and knowledgeable. Very impressed.

I have used AK Electrical Services to carry out an EICR test in my house. Abdullah, Steve and O.J arrived prompty, implemented all the electric checks with care and professional detail. I had discovered that some light cables in loft had evidence of heat damage. The EICR test implemented uncovered an 40amp mcb rather than 32amp and a faulty reversal in one socket. To fix the reversal remedial work was implemented. To fix the order in which the cables had been joined, pallet wood had to be lifted to locate joint. The cables that showed evidence of thermal heat in loft, were throughly checked and insulation boxes were used to prepare cable joints in for laying down fibreglass insulation on top of them. A really careful work was implemented. Many thanks for your attention to detail and professional work!

We lost power to the kitchen sockets at around 09:30pm and needed a expert to find and rectify the fault, looking online we found AK Electrical Sercives and gave them a call, we were given advice as to what the problem likely was and offered to come out straight away however we were able to temporarily use a extension to keep the essentials on and booked in for the following day. On arrival the next day they got to work straight away being very thorough and professional with the fault finding and was able to locate and fix the issue in short time whilst giving great advice regarding our outdated wiring and fuse box. Very happy with the work carried out and will be my first contact should any electrical work need doing in future. Thank you AK Electrical Services.

Abdullah and the team have been fantastic from day 1. AK Electrical Services were recommended to me by a colleague and I'm so glad they were! Originally we called them out to change a consumer unit in a property that hadn't been updated since the 80's. Unfortunately the property needed a full rewire with how the electrics had been altered over the years, but Abdullah and the team explained the whole process step by step, really showing the value of their service. Finding a good tradesman is hard, but I think I found an electrician for life! I've already recommended them to 2 colleagues and a next door neighbour. You will not regret getting these guys in.

Excellent service. Abdullah and his team completed the electric wiring work for my outdoor building. All the work was done in just one day and fully certified. He came over with his team in the morning and by the evening we went from no electricity to all functioning lighting and sockets connected to the main MCB. Couldn’t have asked for better service, Abdullah came within 30 minutes of calling on Sunday and fixed it in 20 minutes and restored power to my house. These honest, courteous, calm electricians were wonderful yesterday when I lost power & heating. I phoned in the evening (of Christmas week) with almost no hope of getting help till morning. They arrived within 30 minutes & worked until full power was restored. They didn’t just check whether the problem was a faulty appliance, they worked around the wiring until they’d identified where the problem was then mended it. Not a small job considering they were coping with limited access & an ancient & dangerous fuse box and evidence of mice & spiders. They explained what they were doing as they worked - no mysteries! Abdullah and the team were fantastic when they installed 2 outside sockets for me. They arrived when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently and also took the time to explain different electrical information which I found really helpful. The most impressive thing for me was the neatness of the work and that Abdullah filled in the plaster that he had knocked out for the wires. Would highly recommend. The price was also very fair.

We contacted AK Electrical after we'd attempted to change a light fitting and found some slightly unusual/out of date wiring. Our upstairs circuit was fully out and we were quite worried. They were amazing, able to come out within half an hour and fitted the light safely and changed another for us while they were here. I can't recommend them enough, they were friendly, quick and professional and completely saved the day!
Had a kitchen cabinet fall down and expose a live wire behind, tripping the circuits all over the house. AK were out within 30 mins of calling them, and sorted the problem within 10 mins. As I have used AK Electrical Services before, and knew I could trust them, I did not hesitate to call when I was having issues whereby my immersion tank not switching on. After confirming a time to call, Az was on time, masked up and even put protective covers on his shoes before entering my property. Very respectful. Following a quick chat to get an understanding of the fault he set about diagnosing and isolating the problem to a faulty control panel. Az described the problem to me in an easy-to-understand way without sounding patronising. Once sorted, we went on to talk about a few ideas I had of further electrical work that I am considering. Again, his opinion was valuable and honest, even advising me against some work and reasons why. I wouldn't go anywhere else for electrical work!

Well, to say impressed is not enough, 4 guys have been before him and all were not able to resolve the issue, leaving me in the dark, till I come across this guys. Yes the price it's on the high end but they work so, so efficient, precise and quick that it's not going to worth a lot for the job done as they don't waste any minute at all. AK Electrical fully rewired my 1920s house. They were very professional from the word go. I'm an electronics engineer by profession so I can tell that AK Electrical knew their stuff and were only installing high quality components into my house. I asked for several extras during the job (surge protector and rcbos) and these were added for a very reasonable price. The work was completed on time and to a very high standard. highly recommend these guys the service was 100% from start to finish. I contacted them regarding work that needed doing they arrived straight away to access the work. Very pleased I contacted this company . One evening all sockets went off and couldn’t reset. They turned out within the hour and managed to solve the problem. However also decided to update fuse panel as was many years old and didn’t meet current standards. Came back and did this as well , these guys are hard workers don’t hang about drinking tea or go off on other jobs halfway through the day. Lovely fellas came round well within their time stated. Wired a vintage lamp into my ceiling light, told me off (in a welcomed and helpful way) for overloading my plug sockets, charged me exactly what they had quoted even though the work took longer than expected and left! I would definitely recommend them.

The two gentlemen that arrived at our door for an emergency job were absolutely delightful. AK & Rambo visited our home within 45 minutes of us calling as we explained we had heard popping sounds from our plug sockets they immediately explained they were on their way. 5 minutes before they arrived we saw a spark from the plug and thankfully once they arrived we were relieved as they could not have come sooner. Upon further inspection it was clear the sockets were in such a bad state it was literally like being in a house with a ticking time bomb. We have two children, a 2 year old and a 2 month old. It doesn't bare thinking about what would have happened if they didnt arrive when they did. They were prompt, professional & polite. We have already agreed to call them again to do other works in our house. Would very very highly recommend.

I discovered AK Electrical through British Gas vetted tradespeople. I am a landlord and used AK Electrical today for the first time today after my management agency told me my tenant needed a new pendent light fitting in their room. AK electrical attended on the same day as I requested their services. Not only this but they even attended after 6pm at my tenants request. On inspection AK Electrical discovered that in fact it was only a lightbulb that needed replacing!! Problem solved and AK Electrical updated me with this information immediately. On receiving my invoice I noticed that they very kindly reduced the previously agreed call out charge without any impetus from me. What can I say....great service, very honest chap and super kind too. It goes without saying I will certainly use AK Electrical again (hopefully for a more complex job!) and would certainly recommend them.

AK were very helpful. My power had gone down. They came out on time, phoning me before arriving to let me know that they were on the way after a previous job. They offered to come out on the evening of the previous day to help which I appreciated but I was not available and had to book the appointment for the next day. They got my power back on. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

After quote accepted, I explained the work required needed to be completed asap and wow they returned later that afternoon after finishing their other jobs. Had 21 down lighters changed which they were able to order for me, the 2 electricians Abdullah and Adam collected the items required from suppliers and completed the work in a professional manner and left the place tidy and took away the unwanted old lighting. I just had my whole 2 floor appartment rewired by these guys. I had laminate floorboards downs and didn't want the stress and costs of them being ripped up so they rewired through the ceilings and walls where possible. Excellent. Had been let down by another electrician on a full rewire as part of a major refurbishment. Two guys from AK came out on a Sunday night (same day as contacted them) to start the job, and four guys came out on the Monday to finish, and allow the other trades to proceed as planned. All were punctual polite and did what they said they would.
Amazing service. Abdullah and Adam came around at the time specified to quote the job and gave me a very reasonable price. He explained each step of the consumer unit fitting and broke down the cost between material and labour (which other companies I had around wouldn't do). During the job a couple of complications came up, however Abdullah explained these to me and showed me what the problem was and cost was before I agreed to fix the issues.
