I needed a full suite of mains wired smoke and heat alarms to be replaced. Voltage Electrical Services got it done quickly, politely and professionally. Even though it was just a small job I was treated like a valued customer and will be recommending them to friends & family and will be giving them my future jobs.

Following an inital fault finding visit which diagnosed a failed underground cable, a new power cable was installed from consumer unit in house to new consumer unit in workshop at end of garden. Not straightforward due to difficult routing of cable but all carried out highly professionally. Darren is a really friendly and helpful chap and nothing was too much trouble. We are in Teston and would thoroughly recommend Voltage Electrical.

Great service, did an inspection for us before we bought our new home and highlighted serious flaws with the old installation. I employed Voltage Electrical Services to perform a domestic electrical safety assessment (EICR) on my property and to undertake the subsequent remedial & upgrade works I required. I had a persistent fuse-tripping problem at the house which knocked out my deep freeze, oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. I had to run an extension cord from a working socket to the kitchen just to keep things going. Two electricians assessed the problem and said they would get back to me, but neither ever did. After a drop in voltage was believed to be the cause of our boiler failing to work and having exhausted all likely and suggested causes I accepted defeat and made the call no one wants to make. I chose Voltage electrical services after reading some of the excellent reviews. Amazingly and luckily for me Darren and his colleague were able to attend within the hour. Following thorough investigation the drop in voltage was traced to a wrongly wired isolation switch meaning when I turned the run to the garage off it also caused the voltage to the boiler to drop. This is something I would never have worked out on my own. Darren was super professional, fast working and clearly excellent at what he does. I am very impressed, grateful for his assistance and will be saving his number.

Please be aware of this company & their administration financially. The company is unable to provide receipts for work completed despite calling 29 times. Also, two electricians from this company arrived, to check the meter, which were very suspicious and unable to provide an explanation for their visit.

Darren from Voltage Electrical came out to me in Maidstone yesterday and was brilliant. He quickly diagnosed why the basement sockets had lost power while the rest of the house was unaffected. After opening up the consumer unit, he found two wires had melted and one of my RCDs had been damaged. He then used the remaining RCD to put a sensible short-term fix in place and get power back to all the affected sockets. Really helpful, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. Just moved into a new property, Knowing next to nothing about general household electrics. Survey had come back with an outdated consumer unit and I needed it replacing. I live in Walderslade and called Darren to see if he could disconnect our mains run alarm so we can update. The battery backup was running out so it was urgent as once that happened the alarm would go off with no way to turn it off ! Contacted Voltage Electrical Services as I needed to have an electric cooker power point moved. Darren arrived at my house in Maidstone at the time and on the date arranged for this work to be carried out. Very neat job done and totally cleaned up on completion of the work. As the new power point was installed above a work surface he even cleaned the work top with wet wipes. Immersion heater packed up, I rang Darren first thing the next morning and he said he would be able to come round later that day. He arrived on time and gave us a call when he was on his way, replaced the thermostat and explained why the previous one wasn’t working (burnt out wires).
