Called them over a week ago for a service was told they would call me back. And no return call. Will go elsewhere as clearly not customer focused.

Bought my BMW from Williams Liverpool. Very quick 6 week turnaround from order to purchase and handover. The service and professionalism by all the staff from the ladies at reception and their BMW representative Kurt Yates was second to none. Kurt was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made everything run smoothly. The staff could not do enough to help and make the experience such an enjoyable and memorable one from the way they spoke to you to the presentation of my new car at the handover. I have had a few serious issues lately with my car and have struggled to get things sorted . On 3 separate occasions now Rachel, who works in servicing , has been an absolute godsend. Every time I have an issue she always manages to sort things out on a timely and professional manner. She is an absolute asset to BMW. Recently had the pleasure of purchasing a BMW i5 from Steve McCormick at Williams Liverpool. We initially went in on a spur-of-the-moment visit after a disappointing experience test-driving a Range Rover Velar elsewhere. We had seen the i5 and asked for the keys so we could have a look inside. Steve promptly got them for us, let my wife sit in the car and have a proper look around, and there was no sense of pressure at all. When we asked about booking a test drive, Steve said he could take us out there and then, which was a great touch. The quote was good, the service was excellent, and the whole experience was far more pleasant than we have had with other dealerships in the past. The handover bay was also a lovely touch. My wife said that even though the car was a year old, it still felt as special as picking up a brand-new car. Thank you, Steve. I’m sure we’ll be back next year when I start looking at replacing my own car!

One of the best experiences I have ever received. Every time we visit this showroom, we are met with the most familiarity from all of the staff. They are so welcoming and go above and beyond to make your visit the best it could be. From reception, to sales person, to managers they all treat you with manners, respect and familiarity making you feel at home. This is our 2nd car from here and they always try to get the best deal suitable to us. Without doubt one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a main dealership. After waiting around for over an hour and 20 minutes just to get a price on a car that was supposedly part of a special offer, I was left extremely disappointed. The process was filled with pointless questions about how I intended to use the car, whether it was for work, and other irrelevant details, none of which seemed to help move things forward. To make matters worse, the manager claimed to have a “special tool” to check whether the car had been clocked, which did little to inspire confidence. After all that time, I didn’t even receive the promised callback from the salesperson with the vehicle pricing.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Poor communication, wasted time, and a lack of professionalism throughout. I certainly won’t be returning and would advise others to think twice before dealing with this company.

If you are on the market for a new car, I cannot recommend Cheryl Tolson enough! Purchased my past two cars with Cheryl and she made the process seamless from start to finish. The sales personal Cheryl and lan went through the sales process perfectly explained everything, kept me informed and took me through the change over process expertly. Have been a BMW owner for many years and always been satisfied with all the cars that I have owned.

Fed up with the persistent phone calls telling me to book a service. Reached the stage where I am blocking all of William’s phone numbers. The mileage thatI am doing tells me that it is at least four weeks until the requisite mileage is reached. These calls have been going on for quite a while now. I won’t be going to Williams again!!

So I bought a bmw 1 series 128ti just coming up to 3 years old it developed a rattle when accelerating. I took it in to Williams Liverpool and they diagnosed a problem with bolts in the output shaft (just over 11,000 miles full service history) they sorted under warranty 👍. A week or so later I noticed the car was still rattling but not as loud so I took it back in and they told me they couldn’t find any issues but didn’t charge anything (at this point the warranty had expired 👍. A month or so later car rattling noise getting louder so I took it back and was told “ the rattling noise was characteristic of this vehicle so it’s supposed to rattle “🧐 you’ve go to admire that German build quality. Not believing this until I get a second opinion I’ve decided I’m going to take my vehicle to an independent specialist. So I’ve asked 4 different members of Williams if they could email the technicians report for each of the 3 visits so I could relay this information to the independent garage so they would know what has been checked and ruled out. I’m still waiting and have now pretty much given up on them and quite possibly the brand. My mate who is a you tuber has asked me if he could do a vid on this as he has seen how frustrating I’m finding the whole ordeal. I may just do that.

The worst customer service. My car was booked in for a recall and diagnostic inspection for 31/03/26. They did not complete it till 15/04/26 which in itself is completely unacceptable. I have asked for more information regarding the issues found from the inspection and now they are completely unresponsive. I have now not had my car for more than 3 weeks. If you value your time, take your car to another garage.

Poor customer service just walked out

Service is dreadful. AI Is by their own admission appalling and no actual person ever answers the phone. No calls back are ever received and the car came back from it's service with 2 things wrong with it, one of which was the oil cap left off.

Avoid Williams BMW Liverpool if you care about your car. Took my BMW 4 Series in for accident repair (bumper + bonnet). Got it back with the bonnet completely misaligned — one side higher than the other. When I raised it, they said “it’s normal” and refused to take responsibility. After pushing, I returned the car and left it for TWO days. On the morning of collection, they suddenly tell me it won’t be ready until 4:30pm. Completely disorganised and no respect for customers’ time. To make it worse, the car wasn’t even cleaned when returned. When I mentioned it, they said “we only worked on the body.” That says everything about their attitude. Poor workmanship, poor communication, zero customer care — all while charging premium BMW prices. This experience has put me off BMW entirely. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere

Can’t thank Mike at Williams Liverpool enough, deciding on my next car wasn’t easy but I was sure I wanted the SUV style. Mike was open and honest from the start which I really appreciated and put me at ease when deciding on my final purchase. I felt he went above and beyond with back and forth communication throughout and made sure I had the car asap once I approved. After finding the used car I wanted & advising your sales representative, the paperwork and delivery was quick and I was kept in the loop through the various stages. 10 out of 10. Excellent service and customer relations.

We went to see if a certain model would suit my wife in terms or getting in and out of the car. Walked away, with the offer of a different model that we are made up with. From the friendly greeting from Kate on reception to the 'laid back' James, who sold us the car, it was a great customer experience. A few little problems with the car were resolved within a few days with no questions asked. I think the after sales is more important than the sales element and from my previous experience with Williams, it is excellent.

Made enquiry through autotrader late monday eve. 8.30am tuesday call off James to discuss the car. He filmed a video of it. Discussed all options in detail. Placed deposit. Test drove and discussed deal the thurs. From then on communication everyday until handover. Big thanks to James for his professionalism and efficiency.

Avoid these, awful customer service, inflated repair prices, even when the car was recalled they still wanted £10k for a steering rack / suspension issue the car was 4 months old. Never again will I use Williams BMW.

A rather poor experience from start to finish: I turned up for the (on line) scheduled brake fluid service (btw, I received 4 SMSs, 3 e-mails, and one telephone call, only to confirm my booking and to confirm that my car is being delt with.... what a nonsense and unnecessary waste of everybody's time!). At the check in desl the kind staff member entered (on the screen) additional minor issue into the work sheet which I experienced that morning: nonresposive remote key fob (?due to low battery) with the request to investigate this. So I left. The car will be washed (as they promised) and collection was agreed between 4-5 pm with a promised call to my mobile when its ready. As I had no call about the car collection until 5.20 pm I took a taxi to get there by 6 pm. When I was hal a mile from Williams I got a call that my car is ready for collection. When I arrived I was asked to pay for the service and several additional service packages have been offered I was not interested and asked what fault they found with a key fob? From the face expression of the person I was talking to I Immediately realised that he had got no clue what so ever what I was talking about arguing that a key fo. Was not the part of the planned service....I explained him how this came about and asked him to show me the printout of the worksheet, which clearly showed the sentence in capitals, entered by the staff when I checked-in. He apologised for taking any action on this, which also confirmed to me that the BMW professionals did NOT even read the worksheet, let alone, acting on then priblems they supposed to sort out!!! It was a really shocking revlation for me!! He immediately offered me a replacement of batteries in both key fobs (?as a compensation for the mistake) but that was not my point. I just desperately wanted to leave as quickly as possible after all my shocking experience. So I asked in which bay number they left my car (as they asked me when I arrived in the morning)? The answer was: I don't know! Another surprise, especially after receiving his 'clever' advice, suggesting me of pressing the key fob (both with new batteries!) and I'll find my car when its lights came on...?! What a cheeky and undermining attitude?! I objected to this and tried to feed back about my rather unpleasant experience in Williams BMW today, but there was no change in the attitude and tone, as I expected. So I left the building and chased my car by relpeatedly pressing the key fob (as advised by the 'expert'). And when I approached my car I realised that the car was not washed (as agreed during my on-line booking 2 weeks earlier)....so I returned to the building in order to add another reason of my deep dissatisfaction with the service and experience I had, yet again, similar to last year's experience and a year before.... I got another apology (ha-ha-ha) abd a suggestion that I can pop in tomorrow, leave my car and Williams will make all effort to wash it.... I could not believe what I experienced within 20 minutes or so in BMW Willians, and left deeply disappointed. I gave 2 stars in my review only because Williams returned my car undamaged and on the same day and because I hope that the brake fluid replacement was done correctly and my driving will be safe when I suddenly have to brake. In summary: disappointingly substandard service and appalling communication with the customer with no obvious intention of putting these things right. Not good enough BMW-Williams, Liverpool! (PS:I spotted the sentence on the uniform of the Williams staff, saying: "The difference is- Williams" Yes, I agree with this sentence - obviously not in the way they intended to suggest....!?)

I wanted to test drive a BMW M5. I have always driven Mercedes for my personal use and was interested in experiencing a BMW.When I came to the dealership, a member of your staff accompanied me for the test drive, but at no point did he explain how the car works or provide any information about its features. The attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional.Moreover, the way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected, to the point that it came across as discriminatory. This was not the level of service I would expect from a brand like BMW.I am very disappointed with this experience and wanted to bring it to your attention.

My car had to come in and as always they went the extra mile and even looked into an additional issue as well. Straight forward to book, they even fitted me in at short notice. Nothing is too much trouble when dealing with any query, fantastic customer service and knowledgeable. Was even offered a hot/cold drink for my onward journey!!

Worse garage ever took my x1 for recall for free they try to charge me for 500 quit ... cut story short my car apparently so rolled in fence that was first call from lady at reception after half hour in their care first phone call I got ur car rolled in fence u didn't put handbrake on i watched someone getting in my car while waiting for taxi ...anyway they denied it so I ask for cctv they showed me car rolling after I left and than got phone call wot happened also got 2 calls before I got there how long im gona be ?? Any ideas??? I have when I got there my car was against the fence and into another car mini of theirs right no mention on phone call I got blamed of not putting my handbrake on Anyway got back there got treated like shit by 2 workers there one of them is the manager I asked them to open the car fir me this manager said im gona film it I told him plz do as u telling me noone drove my car but while I was waiting for taxi I saw a person driving my car from the space I parked it in anyway he opened the car for me which was still against the fence and part in their mini x he opened it for me filming i couldn't get behind the wheel cos someone short move my seat i told them and they paused than laughed well we dont no how u drive obviously not like that ..that i have to climb over the wheel ..anyway they try to charge me 500 pounds for damaging one of their cars and tryed to get my insurance details of me I refused and they told me I haven't got a leg to stand on that piss me of so I contacted their higher authority and demanded full cctv as I watched someone driving my car got response with excuse they r rotating cameras so we cant provide full cctv fro. Mo.ent I dropped my car of someone else driving it and crashing it The result I got was sorry cant provide full cctv all we have ur car rolling after half hour u left The higher authority call me back and offer to pay for damage on their cqr caused by mine and I repair mine ...been told the same I hav3nt got enough evidence ..bla bla anyway when I picked my car the following day the work they suppose to do when I sign papers the day before they offer a clean and free mot I got my car as it was when it went I. This short lady brought it round and when I approach the manager she must have driven it as in same position as I couldn't get behind the wheel he denied it again this garage is a scam and the way they treat people and accuse me of a bloody handbrake its sickening would never ever go back there again so be aware if u take ur bmw car there take pics before u leave it with them

I am writing this review to express dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to Williams bmw Liverpool for a vehicle health check and an outstanding safety recall. As a BMW owner, I expect a premium level of service, which was completely lacking on this occasion. Dropped off at 7:45, left the car with them to receive a call at lunch time to say it didn’t need the safety recall and asked if I still wanted it washing (which I did as I had checked that in the check in as well as a health check) I collected the car around 5:30 to find out it had only just been washed (see photos attached of the car AFTER the “wash”) they had missed loads whilst washing it and took paint off the rear bumper with the jet wash. And to top it off I didn’t receive a health check. Working in a main dealer myself I find this very concerning as I have a TPMS light on, luckily I knew about this issue and know it’s caused by a faulty TPMS sensor but imagine if it was due to a faulty tyre! to someone who doesn’t know about cars if they weren’t told about it via a health check, could then go drive the car in a dangerous condition unknowing to them. Overall very poor service and very unhappy with how my visit was on this occasion.

FIRST CLASS/WILLIAMS BMW LIVERPOOL/JAMES HUSHON First Class- saw a used car on auto trader, enquired about it, James Hushon contacted me from the Liverpool branch & sent me a video & brochure of the car I was interested in, we came to a deal & had it delivered free of charge 4 hrs away from where we live. Day of delivery a lovely man & his trailer delivered the car & all I can say is I love it, exactly as described & so happy from start to finish. I would definitely use Williams Group again as first class BMW used car dealers with free gifts on the back seat, a nice touch !

I had so many problems with my BMW X6, and had the misfortune of dealing with Chris Benson who was awful. The car had endless issues. Did a 1star review. Eventually I was passed onto Darren Timoti and Luke Parkes who were phenomenal and resolved it for me quickly. Can't thank them enough especially Darren for spending a lot of his time sorting this out. Restored my faith in BMW Liverpool and in their customer service.

I bought my new car from BMW Liverpool last week and was looked after by Cheryl Tolson — she was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I have just purchased my first ever BMW. The whole experience made me feel amazing. I was met in the Wiilams BMW garage in Liverpool by Alan Stockford who l instantly liked. Not too pushy and seem to know what l needed. . His light hearted humour along with his vast knowledge of the cars they had in my price range was brilliant. Alan guided me on every stage and we had a great laugh on the test drive. He put my me at ease straight away with his very calming laid back personality. I bought a 2 seriers Tourer second hand. It was in immaculate condition inside and out. Fully valleted. They even sorted 5 days insurance free and helped me with my tax. I felt very lucky and definitely proud of my purchase. I have had the car a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. It's very economical but has such a great kick to it giving me lots of confidence. It's by far my favourite car. I can not thank Alan enough for the whole experience from start to finish.

The dealership went out their way recently to look after my BMW motorcycle which I was using to raise money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in the context of providing overnight parking. They could not have been more helpful, supportive and happy to accommodate the bike. It was a wonderful experience for me. This is the second year that this dealership have helped me in this way.

After taking some time to reflect, I’m still unsettled by my experience at BMW Williams Liverpool on Saturday. I’ve dealt with this dealership before and always had excellent service. Last week I received a phone call inviting me to their weekend event, and because of my positive past experiences, I made time in my busy schedule to attend with my son — even though I didn’t have an appointment due to work commitments. Unfortunately, the visit was nothing like my previous experiences. There were more staff than customers, I felt overwhelmed as soon as I walked through the door. Instead of being allowed to browse at my own pace, I was approached repeatedly by sales staff, which felt more intimidating than welcoming. I ended up leaving within five minutes. The relaxed, premium atmosphere I’d come to expect had been replaced with something that felt more like a car supermarket. The optimism I had after the initial invitation call was quickly replaced by disappointment. Out of all the BMW dealerships I’ve visited in the area, this was by far my worst experience.

We recently bought two cars from Williams Liverpool BMW. Fabulous customer service from James Hushon. From the minute we walked in until we drove our cars away. Helped my daughter and I search for and find the right cars for us both. James went through step by step every detail about the cars from information about the cars themselves to purchasing , added extras, add ons and service advice. Lovely, comfortable place too. All staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Very nice showroom too, lovely Lattes and hot chocolates and we felt very comfortable and not under any pressure at any time to buy. James was consistent on keeping us up to date as to when our cars would be ready for collection. This was also very professional. We were showed to a separate area were our car was waiting for us. All shiny and clean and the BMW Williams teddy and umbrella were a lovely little touch. Really pleased with the professionalism , helpfulness and friendliness of Williams Liverpool and James’ approach to us as a family was great. Collected my car yesterday cannot fault the service I received, went in last weekend on the way home after shopping around other dealers, dealt with Luke one of the managers first while sales were busy with other customers, got a list of cars for me they had available on site. We got introduced to Mike who we went on a test drive with, any questions I had were answered. Sat down past closing time got a deal done, great communication during the week collected yesterday received Flowers, couple umbrellas and even a little teddy all about the little things, Mike even come in on his day off again before the dealer had even opened. We will definitely be returning when our other car is up for renewal soon

Can't believe how bad this place has gotten. I bought a car from the dealership a while back and it has now come to the point where I need to change vehicle. So with this, I decided to come in and have a look around. The service is shocking, the staff are rude and I overheard staff talking about customers in a very disgusting manner. The head of business needs to sort this place out but they appear to have someone new in. After seeing a previous review about the manager and the dealership not being run right, this now makes sense. Never seen a dealership like it. Management need replacing and so do the staff.

AVOID BMW LIVERPOOL – TERRIBLE AFTERCARE & MISLEADING SALES I purchased a brand new BMW 7 Series from BMW Liverpool in 2018. A year later, I was told by their then-manager that the salesman I dealt with (later dismissed) had manipulated my GAP and finance agreements and kept funds I had paid. I only found out after needing to make a GAP claim. I'm now involved in an ombudsman case and have tried for weeks to get help from the dealership, but my calls and messages are ignored. I've spoken to the current manager, Ian, who hasn’t followed up, and I’m constantly promised callbacks that never happen. I even requested the Head of Business’s email and was refused, which is shocking given the seriousness of the situation. Zero accountability or support. The car was great — the dealership is the real problem. I would not recommend buying from BMW Liverpool.

My husband bought a used car from BMW Williams in June 2025. Er were very disappointed with the sales person, he was so inefficient making a number of mistakes one of which was filling in the V5c form incorrectly, not once but twice. As a consequent of these errors I have had to write to the DVLA explaining the errors and providing proof of purchase. Over a month since collecting my car I still haven’t got the correct V5c. The Sales persons whole attitude was very lax and it was one of the worst experiences I have had while buying a car.

Second time I have purchased a car from Williams BMW in Liverpool. I cannot fault these guys. They are professional, patient and really listen to what you want in your new car. Steve and Mike created a seamless handover of my new car. Patricia, the lady on Reception, welcomed me, offered me a cup of coffee and made me feel really at ease whilst waiting to pick up my car. I bought a 1 series bmw from here just over 4 years ago. I know Its a fair old time ago but about 10 days ago my car was involved in a slight accident. It has now been satisfactorly repaird, however the man who did the body work who is very reputable informed that this car had previously been involved in an accident. Basically this was not brought to my attention when I purchased the car. I find it a little surprising seeing as the dealer had a very good reputation. Otherwise the car has been trouble free and mechanically I can have few complaints, just disappointed that the car was possibly sold to me under false pretences.

This was our first time exploring a used BMW X3, and we were genuinely looking forward to the visit. After enquiring over the phone, we were invited for a test drive and received multiple follow-ups throughout the week — including updates on price reductions. However, the in-person experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite having a confirmed appointment, no one greeted or attended to us upon arrival. We had to follow up ourselves, and were then passed around from one person to another with no clear support. Eventually, someone named Allen spoke with us, but the interaction was abrupt, dismissive, and he never returned after that. It felt like we were an afterthought rather than serious customers. Absolutely the worst dealership experience we’ve had — unwelcoming, disorganized, and unprofessional. We’ve decided not to return or consider buying from them

I have recently bought a 1 series from this dealership and the staff were excellent. From the moment I walked in Pat was extremely helpful and welcoming putting me with the right salesman for my needs. My salesman Alan was completely open and honest with me throughout the process answering all of my questions and not wasting either of our time. Overall the entire process was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone else interested in a BMW. Purchased a BMW 3 series from Williams Liverpool just over a month ago through Alan Stockford at used car sales. Found the car on the website so went to view it and booked a test drive for the following weekend. Car ticked all the boxes for what I was after so went ahead with the purchase. All smiles and helpful when you’re looking for a car but anything afterwards good luck ! Was told when collecting the car on handover day any problems or questions give us a call. A few small problems issues I found with the car after a day or so when I’d gotten home with it, firstly being rear floor mats were missing and the guard X kit missing. So I rang up and apparently this was left next to the salesman’s desk which unfortunately should have been prepared and placed into the vehicle prior to collection. The next item which was missing from the vehicle is the rear floor mats which again should be in the vehicle and all checked over before collection, not exactly amazing when your spending nearly £35k on a car and the basics arnt there. Phone up to ask what’s happening with these items and was told they would be sent out via Williams Bolton due to distance of my location. Floor mats which were sent out where used mats out of a car which were dirty and just feels like no thought went into this, just an after thought. A new set should have been supplied as missing from the vehicle to start with. The next issue with the vehicle is on the B pillar there is a small VIN sticker missing so yet again phoned up and was told I’d receive a call back that same day, 4 days passed and yet no phone call so called back again to be told someone would get back to me. After 2 days of myself ringing up to get someone to sort this issue I was told the sticker was ordered directly from Germany as this was a special item. Phoned up to book in with the service department to have it his sticker re applied to the car and was told to come down Thursday 26th June 2025. I traveled from Manchester at 8.15am to arrive at 9.45 as the booking time said, arrived on site to be sitting there for 15 mins, to be told the part isn’t even there, but had confirmation that it was all ready to go and would be fitted free of charge. I feel absolutely let down by Williams Liverpool, as previously mentioned, I feel it’s all smiles and great until you’ve paid up and then your on your own, aftercare is not good at all! Finally, handover day. This was unfortunately very brief and not personalised to you, feels like your rushed into the car and sent on your way, car was collected but yet again dirty on collection with the rear being dirty like someone had been sitting in the back, smear marks on the glass and plenty of sand in the boot. Was assured the vehicle had gone through the work shop but it’s not promising when all this was missed. Now waiting on Williams Liverpool for a phone call back regarding today’s visit which was a total waste of time and fuel.

This guys literally will rob you to your feet, took my car to their garage for service they told me that I also need to change my four discs and four brake pads the brake pads I get it but the discs were nothing wrong with them as my car only done 35000 miles so I guess they just want to get money out of me. Then I took my car to another garage they were agree just I need to change my brake pads. Will never take my car back there. Avoid these scammers all costs.

I bought a BMW X4 from BMW by Faye Wilcock a year ago, and the entire experience has been extremely disappointing. I had to drive all the way from London to Liverpool just to collect the car, only to find it came with just 6 months MOT – something I wouldn’t expect from a premium brand like BMW, where a full 12-month MOT should be standard. The staff were rude and dismissive throughout the process. I had agreed before purchase that the car would come with a warranty covering cosmetic damage, tyres, and alloys. However, when I arrived to collect it, they refused to provide the warranty. It then took three months of back-and-forth calls and emails just to get a refund for something I was promised upfront. To top it all off, after only a year of use, the washer fluid system is already blocked – which speaks volumes about the quality. Very disappointing experience overall. Not what I expected from BMW.

I have a BMW 520D F10, Car telling me to charge battery i have and now the boot has locked, I called and was told i need to pay £175 to call someone out and then if cant get into boot will take car to repair place, So you take battery out of car and thats it 0 access to boot, And you fob me off and try get me to pay you money instead of advising me how to open the trunk and now i have a BMW sat on the side of the road due to poor design, Poor Quality Rubbish, Never seen anything like it very poor, Off the back of this service i dont think ill be buying any BMW anytime soon very poor service, Very Poor Design and left to pay out of my pocket, Couldnt even be bothered trying to find out what they can do to help Me, Beware and keep away from this Brand if i was you they get your money then leave you to get stuck

Poor experience multiple times here.. I've enquired with BMW Williams Liverpool a few times over the past years and ended up going elsewhere due to poor sales service (not to reflect on the actual service department who are good). On multiple occasions in the past, I have visited and had a very nonchalant attitude towards me (not sure if it's due to my age but currently own an M5). I had a very very low valuation given on my car for trade in, about 20% less than webuyanycar... Went in with my partner on another occasion and the figures they were giving for a brand new M240i were totally wack, higher than the website. Other dealers sitting at over £120 a month cheaper on PCP with identical specification and terms, were even laughed at when we said the figure we were aiming for which the other dealers easily achieved. Multiple chances given over the years, multiple deals lost to other dealers. Wouldn't recommend. As a final nail in the coffin, called at the weekend for a quote for a business vehicle and was met with a short "you'll have to call back Monday" compared to other dealers who said "sorry they're not in until Monday but let me take details and they'll be in touch asap".

Had the valvetronic motor knocking on the top of the engine on my f80 M3, seems to be a common problem with BMW’s of this era and plenty of details online regarding the puma case against BMW. I plugged the car into my software in my own garage and diagnosed the problem myself. Read up online that a lot of the dealers are fitting new valvetronic motors under good will out of warranty if the cars have been serviced at BMW which mine has. Called Williams up and got the impression they were going to do the works as good will. Booked the car and had a call a view days before saying I would be charged £150 to diagnose this obvious problem again.told them we have already diagnosed as it’s a common problem Car went in and Their technician diagnosed the issue as a wiring loom issue, £700 to replace one lead under the intercooler as I got the part number on their wrong diagnosis. I didn’t go with it as I knew that wasn’t the problem, Payed them the 150 quid for their wrong diagnosis and then bought a new valvtronic motor and fitted it myself As suspected it solved the problem, called them up to ask for my money back for their wrong diagnosis, their rep stayed a manager would call me back but never received that call…..pretty poor Good job I’m pretty clued up about cars as people must get stung for this stuff all the time And before you put your generic’ I should email enquiries…..someone should be calling me x

One of the worst experiences i have had at a dealership.i asked to look in a car and was told they just dont open forty thousand pound cars to look in ???? Omg i turned round and walked out .i know bmw wont be bothered about my 40 grand .but i hope future business will see this and think again!

Called to ask for a video of a used car which the used car sales “manager” said he would promptly do. Another sales person called back 5 minutes later to say the car had already gone which I thought was strange as the images hadn’t even been added and it was a new car listing. Just checked the used cars section again on the BMW site to see the same car still for sale only £4000 dearer which is way over the value of the car. Absolute charlatans, obviously cannot be trusted , avoid at all costs.

Misleading Pricing and Disappointing Experience I’ve bought several BMWs from the Williams Group in the past, so I expected a high level of professionalism and honesty. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Williams Liverpool has left me extremely disappointed. I originally sent a family member a link to a BMW 5 Series they had listed for sale. When they enquired, the dealership said they would send a video demo, but shortly after, they claimed the car had already been sold. However, just a day later, the exact same car reappeared on their website— with well over a £3,000 price increase. This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic, where a car is advertised at a lower price to generate interest, then falsely claimed as sold before being relisted at a higher price. Whether intentional or not, this is misleading and raises serious concerns about transparency. I’ve always trusted Williams in the past, but after this experience, I’ll be thinking twice before dealing with them again. If you’re considering buying from Williams Liverpool, be cautious of sudden price hikes and questionable sales practices.

Collected my 1 Series M Sport today and received excellent service from Lee. From agreeing a PX deal to delivery, the communication was spot on, and despite a delay in the handover which was outside of their control, I was handed a new car with a full tank of fuel in compensation for the short delay. Brilliant service from a great team!

Stay away from this place. Brand new X1 25e mild hybrid. Only a few months old.been driving it regularly. It showed a battery malfunction code on app. I came to car and it was dead as a dinosaur. Got towed to Williams BMW liverpool. I sent screenshot of malfunction message to BMW UK. Liverpool dealership said they couldn’t fix car as couldn’t diagnose the problem. bMW UK said they have to always agree with whatever their dealerships say as they are their eyes and ears on the ground. They said, “your vehicle isn’t unsafe albeit not repaired so you must take it back as it is”. My step mother had died that week and despite me telling them they took my courtesy car away and left me without my car for almost two days when they had said they would not leave me without a vehicle when I needed to care for my 85 year old father. So the car which critically failed has not been fixed. They just recharged it and sent it back to me and even the national BMW UK company won’t do anything but have tried to offer me a gesture of £350 for my inconvenience. It’s a £46,000 car that’s faulty and just because they can’t diagnose it, they give it back saying nothing wrong. Disgusting. I will never ever for the rest of my living days ever own another bmw

I requested a test drive for a Mini through the website choosing the date and time. I heard nothing back and the date passed with no contact. I then received an email, a couple of weeks later, asking me to review my experience with Williams Liverpool. I explained how disappointed I was and to this date I have still not heard a peep from Williams Liverpool. They clearly do not care much for the customer so I have no confidence in dealing with this garage. UPDATE! I received a call from the garage the very next day after this review from the Mini sales manager who apologised and asked if he could help me. He acknowledged something went wrong in the process. I'm happy to review my original 1 star rating and look forward to working with BMW Williams in the future.

My car was sent to this garage through insurance after someone crashed in to me. They created a ridiculous quote of £3,804 to complete the work they said it needed doing. Doing this, the insurance wrote my car off as it was "beyond economical repair". Once I sorted everything with insurance and paid salvage to get my car back, I sent it to my own trusted garage. They looked over the whole car and quoted less than £700 to fix it all. I just want to add the damage was to the headlight, front bumper, and wing. They absolutely tried to have me off knowing the damage wasn't that bad and it was an insurance job. I wouldn't never trust them again. An absolute joke that caused me unnecessary stress. My car is now back up and running as smooth as ever thanks to an honest garage.

Brilliant service all round from finding the right car to helping explain finance options and helping with paperwork went in to shop for my mums next car and within a week had a 1 series ready for her to take home. Thank you to Hazel and the whole team.

Horrible Used every trick in the book to cheat the system that should have allowed me to return my defective vehicle under consumer rights by delaying the process at every opportunity. Was a loyal customer for years and they tossed me aside once it suited them. The Manager at the time was smug and unhelpful would advise to avoid at all costs and the service division (pall mall) was even worse I changed to Halliwell jones in Warrington as they were useless

Thought car was due for service got there and was told no not yet just needed resetting after MOT. I was pleased as this meant I’d save some money and was happy to be dealing with honest reliable dealers

It took just 2 weeks from my initial enquiry to driving away in my brand new BMW 225e. I would like to thank Paul and Matt at Williams Liverpool for making this such a straightforward and pleasurable experience. Paul especially was always on hand to respond promptly to any queries or concerns that arose during the discussions. Although all this was done at a distance (I live in Yorkshire) Paul went out of his way to provide a personal video of the car in question and provide all the specifications, costs and details which enabled me to make an informed decision. When I travelled over to collect the car, it was presented in an immaculate condition and lived up to all my expectations. Comes the time for me to consider my next BMW purchase, I will certainly be making Williams Liverpool my first port of call.

Went to View BMW M8 Gran Coupe - Reg : BX21 YCO, San Marino Blue. Absolutely atrocious. The Pirelli tyres Currently Fitted are NON BMW approved (Not star rated) and Mercedes MOE stamped!! This for a High Performance car with over 600bhp is utterly not acceptable!! These Tyres are not fit for purpose and do not correspond in-line with BMW AUC Standards. The Wheels on the Nearside have also been refurbed, And do not match the Drivers Off-side as there is a Black painted lip - See pictures. There’s also a Chip on the windscreen on the Nearside Wiper area. The Front Lower section Bumper and Carbon pieces are peppered in stone chips. Front windows have a Tint Film on them. Overall - Not a happy customer and the price is way excessive. This car should not be driven with Mercedes rated Tyres and on a high performance car this is extremely concerning. Very disappointed.

Paid a deposit for a car, purchase didn’t end up going through and still over a month later have not received a refund from the £250 “refundable deposit” I paid despite numerous chasing emails - all of which have been ignored

This review is for BMW Williams service centre Liverpool. My Gran Tourer showed amber notifications suggesting: Drivetrain. Check soon. Service transmission oil required. These were the 2 error messages showed on my BMW screen and first appeared I believe around a month back. I booked my appointment with BMW Williams for the 27th June 2024. Appointment was I believe for around 930. I was advised I might have to leave my car for all day. I stayed in the service centre all day and around 530pm the service advisor came back to me with the keys and suggested that they have done the diagnosis check and they suggested transmission oil needs to be changed and oil level is low. The car was with them all day. The servicing message clearly showed transmission oil needs to be serviced but still after keeping the car for all day and charging me £144.00 I was told that transmission oil needs to be changed and quote given was around £345. I was also told the mechanic has recommended the car should not leave the showroom so oil can be changed next day and as per their checks it had 311 kms left. So it had 300 odd kms to go but still it should not leave the showroom? I paid my dues, took the car, service advisor booked an appointment for me for 9th July for transmission oil change. I took the car back on 9th July, dropped the car and went to work. I got a call around afternoon time and the service advisor told me over the phone that the mechanic cannot repair the car as the ‘gear box has seized’. I asked how is this possible as I drove the car this morning and it was working fine, absolute smooth. He suggested that I was warned that the oil change was needed and oil level was low, this has impacted the gear box, Repair quote advised around £4000. When I reached the service centre I was given an invoice for £144 and told my clutch plate may have been impacted and may cost around £2500. In a span of 3 hours ‘gear box seized’ narrative changed to ‘clutch plates impacted’. The service advisor suggested that if I would have listened on the first instance I wouldn’t have to pay ‘thousands of pounds’ to get the car fixed. I took my car to a local garage who deal in automatic transmission. The oil was changed, error codes were reset and I was charged £249.96. Oil level was never low, it only needed changing. The only helpful person was Emma who tried over the phone to sort and get me the right appointment time.

Vehicle sourced and test drive arranged. Got a deal I was very happy with, and the collection experience was excellent. Previously I’ve virtually had keys thrown at me and a lack of interest but Hazel took the time to explain everything whilst I examined the vehicle under cover. Absolutely amazing service from Mike and Luke! Originally contacted the dealership for a car I was interested in but was sold. They noted down my desired specification and contacted me as soon as the closest desired spec was available. I went ahead with the purchase and Mike ensured the collection was nothing short of a 5* service. Exactly what you should expect from a luxury car dealership. 'Reserved' an approved used car for £100, we were then asked for a £500 deposit, on a car we had not seen, or received any videos of, which we duly paid. Heard nothing on the day we were supposed to receive a video. Chased twice... to be told they had taken a deposit for a car that wasn't theirs to sell and the kicker - have to wait a week for a deposit to be returned... I had a bad experience with Williams in 2013 but thought enough time had passed... seems like nothing has changed!!

Collected my approved used 2 series today! It’s such a gorgeous car! The service has been outstanding from the moment we arrived to look to driving away today. Quick and efficient with fixing my EGR. Rang me to communicate everything and then when I went to collect car (I must have looked like I'd had a bad day, which I did i had the day from hell) One of the staff Eril, gave my kids a Ride On toy car for completely free. What a gent! Honestly made my mood 1 million times better. Thankyou Eril
