Cannot Fault the service. From calling with an issue with my shower isolator to the job being complete was less than 4 hours, squeezed us in on a Friday so we were not left without a shower over the weekend. Really friendly and proffessional, wouldn't hesitate to reccomend.
I had an EV charger fitted at home today by Paul and his team and couldn't recommend them more. From the very first interaction he couldn't have been more helpful in answering my questions, he turned up both for the quote and fitting of the charger on time and when he said he would and they did a fantastic job at installation. My house was left completely clean at the end of it which was great. Paul set me up on the app, he sent over all the paperwork in a timely manner, and I felt very confident in his skills and ability throughout the whole interaction. I was working from home and Paul even provided back up power to ensure my WiFi wasn't disrupted during the installation, and I was genuinely surprised by how quickly and efficiently the job was completed! Thank you Paul for doing an outstanding job with the charger, would definitely recommend him to others who require an electrician!

Updated review further to consumer board installation: Limewire were punctual, courteous, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. They carried out a pre-EPC electrical visual condition report for me and took the time to explain everything clearly. It's rare to find tradespeople this reliable and easy to deal with. I've subsequently had them back to carry out a full EICR and replace my consumer unit. The standard of work throughout was excellent. The new board is a FuseBox 15-way full RCBO unit with a Type 2 SPD and 100A isolator, installed to BS 7671 18th Edition standards with every circuit individually protected. The work was NAPIT certified, fully certified with an EIC, and the circuit schedule is clearly labelled and future-proofed for an EV charger, additional kitchen circuits, and more. What stood out was that Paul took the time to work through the spec with me properly — explaining the options, accommodating changes, and making sure the installation was right for the long term, not just the minimum required. Bonding, earthing, and remedial's from the EICR were all addressed as part of the same visit. I'd happily recommend Limewire to anyone who needs a trustworthy, NAPIT registered electrician who takes real pride in their work.

I contacted Limewire Electrical through a friend who recommended them to me. I contacted the Company for a quote and advice on updating a worn-out inline extractor fan for my bathroom. I WhatsApp them first and had a very fast response. So no waiting around which was good I asked for a price for a ceiling fan, but I hadn't explained myself clearly. It wasn't until we were ready to have this updated when I realised I'd confused them about what type of extractor fan we needed. What impressed me was there patience with messages but they never gave up and I eventually sent photos and explained in more detail the work required. I was given a quote the same day which was great and because they took time, knowing my requirements they did not have to waste anytime and spared a visit just to see the work. I agreed a quote which was very reasonable paid 50% deposit via bank transfer knew this was a genuine company as well so it wasn't a scam and given a date for 2 weeks later to do the work. What was nice was them explaining they were busy and they apologised for not being able to come out sooner. It made me think well they must be good and had jobs on the go and already had customers booked in. We agreed a time for 10am for Tuesday 21st April today! I received a WhatsApp message as a reminder and they attended at 10am kept to the agreed time. Worked efficiently with a young pleasant apprentice who did a good job cleaning up after the Electrician. I had purchased a fan grill which was the right size they did have a smaller one but I was lucky this fitted in the gap and I was pleased and they took time to seal around the edges for a smooth finish and it fitted perfectly. I just felt sorry as my loft had birds nests and a few skeletons of birds heads! One they showed me! It is a 1930's house and they mentioned about an old water tank that was wobbly something I should get looked at. They cleared up left it spotless with my extractor in line ceiling fan working again! I do need some further electrical work doing soon and want to have an outdoor front light fitted so I will be back for more work and I will certainly recommend this company to relatives, friends and neighours. Thank you for providing us with great customer service and we would highly recommend this company for any electrical works. I will be in touch about my outside light. 👋👍

Paul and his colleague Tom did a full rewire of my house and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Everything has been done to a high standard, and it’s clear the setup has been future-proofed with attention to detail. Paul was flexible and accommodating when I needed to make a few changes during the job, which I really appreciated. The price was fair, communication was easy, and he’s just a great lad to deal with — friendly, professional, and knows his stuff. He also suggested a few useful upgrades I hadn’t thought of, like adding isolators for the kitchen appliances, which turned out to be really helpful. Highly recommended.

I had Limewire Electrical in to install a new EV charger. Cannot fault the service received from them from the initial quote through to the install. They kept me informed at all times, explained the options I had and the process they would follow to ensure it was installed correctly in-line with all the necessary regulations. I received all the necessary certificates for future reference. They respected my property at all time and I have no hesitation recommending them for any electrical work.
Paul had just finished a 2 day job doing various jobs within my home. All work has been completed to a very high standard, but what really stood out was Pauls communication throughout the work. I received regular updates with photos and easy to understand explanation. Even though he did extra work he stuck to the price quoted, which was really kind. All the paperwork/certificates were received same day. Excellent service. Would definitely recommend tk friends and family.
Paul and his apprentice Tom have just finished a full rewire on my Victorian house and I couldn’t be happier! He replaced all of the ancient wiring, including VIR cables which went out of use in the 60’s and were a major fire hazard. The electrics are now completely up to standard and have been registered with the local building control. His attention to detail and quality of work is second to none. He kept me up to date the whole time throughout the job, sending me pictures and videos as he went along. The price I paid was that I was quoted, no hidden costs or trying to up sell. Even when I changed the goalposts a couple of times throughout. He was able to find alternative routes as I didn’t want to remove the flooring downstairs and did so with minimal wall chasing. I would highly recommend Paul and Tom to anyone as they are honest, reliable and a great laugh too! Thanks again!
Great professional; very open and knowledgeable. Installed new security light and removed old speakers with no problem, and was able to advise on a range of electrical issues. Would definitely call Paul again. Update: Have had Paul around for a number of other complex jobs and he continues to be a very safe pair of hands — other electricians have cancelled on us, but Paul has always come through. He’s always up for explaining what exactly the job entails and giving honest and candid opinions on the job as well.
Had a bathroom fan put in at a very reasonable price. The fan is excellent (very quiet but powerful) and I am very happy with the workmanship which is top quality. There was no mess, very clean and tidy. Excellent communication with Paul from start to finish. He is professional, pleasant and really knows his stuff. Had Paul and Bob ( his apprentice) to change the consumer unit in my house. Well Paul did it Bob watched. He came out a couple of weeks ago to do the quote, did plenty of checks as I still had an old fashioned unit in. He did not want me to waste my money if my electrics were not up to scratch for the new unit. He could have told me I needed a complete re-wire but luckily they were fine. He arranged a date and time to come and was here exactly as he said he would be. A big plus when so many people seem to be unreliable. He was quick tidy, explained everything to me and did it at a fair price. I love the fact he is taking the time to teach a youngster his trade. Very highly recommended. He will definitely be back to do some more work for me when needed.

Only just got around to giving Limewire a review a few months after we've had work completed in our home. Paul carried out a full home electrical safety check, fitted a new, up to date consumer unit and fitted 2 extra indoor sockets. Both the electrical check and consumer unit came with a full certificate. Paul is very professional, he won't cut corners, offers sound advice and was a really tidy, efficient and friendly tradesperson. His comms are good and he is punctual. His pricing was fair and reasonable. He will be the first electrician I call when I require this kind of work carrying out in the future.
Paul was absolutely amazing. It’s no secret that I was a nervous wreck having a full rewire (which was an unexpected cost when we’d bought our home). He firstly explored other options we may have unlike other electricians but ultimately we made the decision to take the plunge. Everyone knows rewires are messy and can be destructive but there is minimal damage to our home, only minor plastering which is expected. He stayed in touch throughout to ensure I was happy with everything, and has even checked in in the aftermath a few times. Shoutout to Tom too, his apprentice who worked super hard. Would definitely recommend and use again!

Paul was quick to respond to a request for a new consumer unit and some extra sockets. He was the 4th electrician I had been in contact with and the only one to tell me he can get the job done no problem and with a reasonable price (others had quoted an extortionate amount or telling me I had to pay for another service first before they would quote for the whole job etc). Works done to a high standard. Friendly and reliable service provided. Helped out with an issue I had that needed a fix asap so he could provide certificates. Great communication throughout and follow up to make sure the external issue was fixed for me. Paul was just fantastic. Our kitchen was shorting out. He responded the same day to my online enquiry, got me booked in to him assess everything within the week. On the day he was punctual and really professional. Despite the plan being only for assessment, he found the issue and actually fixed it then and there. Identified other key issues which were non urgent so we can get those properly fixed too. Sent all documents the same day. Literally nothing at all I can fault about the business and will use them again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fantastic service from Paul at Limewire. First engaged him to do an EICR earlier this year which he did with such precision and care for our property and put a lot of time and effort in to making sure all done properly. This found a fault so we booked him back to do a fault find day. He managed to find and fix the fault with very little decorative repair needed and was extremely thorough. I can't recommend them enough. I was left with a mess by a bad electrician. I found him through the competent person website when I messaged asking for help he was super helpful on what the work should look like and confirmed I was right to not be happy. He came and fixed it, really neat and tidy. Reasonably priced and said he'd back me up when I complain to Checkatrade. I'm glad I've found a good tradesperson who cares about the work they do and leaving you with something you're happy with.

Paul carried out a variety of jobs for me: an EIHC report, disconnect a fire, instal new pendant fittings, take down a brick breakfast bar and instal extra sockets. He arrived on time, tidied up as he went and is totally trustworthy to leave in a property. So glad I found him - I wouldn't bother with any other electrician and will be asking him back to do more work.
