Gemson electrical completed several jobs at our home, including the installation of a lighting/camera device on our garage. Not only is the work completed to a high quality standard but the communication and customer service was great. We will definitely be repeat customers and would highly recommend Gemson Electrical to anyone looking for a reliable, decent, local electrician 👍
Tried to get an EV charger installed by Octopus but they weren't able to finish it because of a slight problem that they weren't qualified to carry out. I contacted Gemson Electrical to see if it was something they could fix and Gary came round within 30 minutes of the phone call and got the job done within the hour. Gary was friendly, polite, and professional whilst also taking pride to not make a mess and even offered multiple times to clean up after himself. I was really happy with the entire service and will be going back to Gemson in the future should I need to!
I needed an electrician for an emergency as after a powercut yesterday I still had no power when the surrounding houses did. I called him around half 6 at night and he was at my house by just after 8 and he had fixed my problem by 9. It was quite a serious issue from what I can tell as the wire going into the isolator box had fried and could have easily caused a fire. He made it safe and gave us power for the night and gave us some great advice and he is coming back today to finish the job. Not only that but his rates are absolutely amazing. For an emergency job by other companies I was quoted over twice as much. I will not hesitate to come back if/when I need more electrical work doing. If you need an electrician do yourself a favour, save time, save money, don't bother shopping around just use Gemson.
Mr Gemson was very professional, kind and had good comms. We called for help to fix some spot lights that randomly came on out of the blue (proper spooky), it was heating up the wood and was as serious risk of a fire. Mr Gemson reassured us and gave us advice over the phone - which managed to sort the problem. 1000% recommend.

Gary carried out all electrical work, for a new kitchen, he did an amazing job. When the kitchen was all fitted and he was carrying out the wiring for the appliances, I asked about another couple of jobs which I needed pricing, he managed to complete these on the same day, which I thought was excellent. I would highly recommend.
Contacted Gaz to see if could get an EISC inspection done as was selling our house and wanted to make sure we were handing over a safe and compliant. Gaz managed to fit us in this afternoon. Spent 4hrs doing an amazing job testing everything and making sure we were compliant, and also doing to a few other jobs for us ready for selling and transferring our home to its new owners. Courteous, friendly, professional and gave me all the comfort I needed to know the house is safe and without issues. Thanks Gaz, top job 👍🏻

Gary re wired my kitchen after an extension. Turned up on time, worked non stop over two days. Gave me advice over outside lights and spent time discussing my requirements, sockets and lighting etc. Hard working, friendly and an excellent job done . Had a problem with some sockets and lights going out at 9:30pm on Friday night, found Gary through a Google search for emergency electricians as our usual electrician couldn’t help. Gary gave suggestions over the phone and arranged to come the following day. Arrived on time, worked methodically to identify the issue (s) Explained everything to my husband and fixed the issues. Very reasonably priced, was knowledgeable and gave advice about a potential hazard in the garage which he’s coming to sort on Monday. He’ll be getting our business from now on.

Gary is super professional and knowledgeable - made several recommendations to improve safety and lighting and carried out a full 12hr day of work with Kyle to get everything safe as soon as possible.
