Rang Fix Up Electrical LTD On the Wednesday needed a double plug socket fitting where there was only a single one said they would do it on the Friday turned up. Did a brilliant job respected property cleaned up after job was done all at a reasonable price brilliant.

Simply the best! Prit and Chris were both professional and friendly. They replaced 4 light fittings with ceiling fans which also meant changing the wall switches in 2 rooms. They also replaced an illuminated bathroom mirror and removed 2 wall lights which were verging on dangerous! Also replaced the bathroom pull cord for me. They were here for about 2 1/2 hours- left everything clean and tidy and took the old electrical fittings away. I highly recommended them and won’t be using any other electrician in future.

I phoned three traders in the past couple of months who couldn't be bothered to reply. Then we have Fix Up....top marks for customer engagement. They picked up my call immediately, asked for pics to aid the quotation which I duly sent and within 24hrs they committed to a price which I considered fair. They fitted loft lights, LED lighting strip in the kitchen, a timer for our water heating system and an update to our consumer unit. I could easily repeat the comments of other reviewers about work quality, communication and cleanliness. Fix Up are the real deal.

Even though the job ran slightly over the initial one-hour call-out window, they stuck to their word and didn't charge a penny extra. Came out at short notice bank holiday weekend found the fault booked in to rectify,brilliant service, polite and professional.

Brilliant company. Rang them to find a fault in the crazy wiring of a 50s house: they came the day after the call, found the fault (which someone else missed), fixed it, and the price was excellent. Prompt, attentive, conscientious, and skilled. Would definitely hire them again.

Socket blew. Rang at 10.25 and, due to a cancelled job, the two guys were here wihin 30 minutes. Friendly, polite and professional, they replaced the socket and gave advice regarding the possible cause. Hopefully won't need to use an emergency electrician again but have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This was one of the most shameless and exploitative experiences I’ve ever had with a tradesperson. I clearly told this electrician not to come because the issue was gas-related, not electrical. He ignored that, showed up anyway, stood in my shop for barely 3–5 minutes, didn’t lift a finger, didn’t check a single thing, and then demanded £130. Charging £130 for literally nothing is outrageous. It felt like he was determined to take the money regardless of whether any work was needed. Completely unprofessional, completely unreasonable, and absolutely not someone I would ever trust again. If you value your time and your money, avoid this service

There is nothing worse than coming home and finding that the electrics had tripped!!! I did the usual and unplugged all the appliances but the RCCB wouldn’t reset. It was at this point I realised I needed help. Pritam was great. He was very quick to respond. He found and fixed the problem within an hour. Called Fix Up with a smallish job expecting to maybe book a day if they wanted to do it, oh no I'll be round in 2 hours said Fix Up, but that would make it 4.30 pm. Not a problem, I was given a price over the phone which I though was very reasonable. The Boss himself arrived at 4.30 looked at the problem which was really a lot bigger that we though but no problem let's get it fixed. Over an hour later having found the problem, fixed it, then cleaned up with everything in good working order what more could you expect. Perfect. Prit attended my property within 40 minutes on a Sunday, when my shower cut out half way and blew the power in my whole house. He was calm and replaced the burnt shower cables that could have caused a house fire, and got my power back on within the hour, which was a great relief. He explained everything to me and cleaned up after himself. Very good service.

They "refused" to provide a quotation to us which would be otherwise fine, but the wording used to justify this decision was very unfortunate. Telling a prospect customer that you are "selective" as if we didn't meet your high expectations/requirements is very condescending and a sign of poor form. I'm sorry I had to give a bad review over this but that actually shows poor decorum and not something you would expect from a professional.

I've got a bit honest. Had him on a call out pricey. Genuine guy but his fault finding wasn't upto par. Blamed the noise I was hearing to external issues left with issue unresolved. Had another electrician round went round the same sockets then the rabbit whole began.

Drilled through a wire behind plasterboard at 15:30. By 16:30 the chap was leaving, having cut away plasterboard, fixed cables and tested everything to ensure all was safe. Outstanding service and saved my skin.

Very expensive service. They charged me £100 for a simple 5-minute job to fix a smoke alarm. I believe they should consider the time it takes to complete a job and charge accordingly, but they didn’t. I would not recommend them.

After having issues with my house alarm constantly beeping inside the house, I tried calling several engineers / electricians and they either didn’t return my call or were too busy. Prit contacted me straight away and squeezed me in the end of his day. He told me up front what the cost would be which was very reasonable. The problem was solved very quickly - thank you so much!
